What guests think

Reviews of Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah highlight a modern beachfront resort with friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, and many dining options, while noting crowding around the pool and breakfast and some nighttime noise from nearby venues.

Most guests praise overall service and housekeeping, though some report queues or delays at check in and inconsistent service at the buffet and beach. Location on West Beach offers easy access to restaurants and a private shore, but traffic flow and sunbed availability can frustrate. Expect a lively, polished resort stay on the Palm.

Skytteltransport (golfbiler) langs strandpromenaden.

The hotel is located beautifully on the Palm, offering a wonderful setting for a relaxing stay. Our room was spacious, modern, and very clean. A special mention to the housekeeping staff — they were always attentive and regularly checked to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The beach was nice, but the pool area was unfortunately overcrowded every day. By around 11 AM, there were no available sunbeds left, which was quite disappointing for a resort of this level. However, the Executive Lounge service was outstanding. The breakfast selection was excellent with a wide variety of high-quality options, and the staff there provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable hotel with a great location — improving the availability of sunbeds around the pool would make the experience even better.

This hotel is stunning. From the moment you walk in the staff treat you so well. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning and the pool is great. The breakfast is great and there are lots of food options at different restaurants. However, be prepared to pay big dollars once you arrive. $30+ for a beer and cocktails even more. The high prices are not at this hotel. The whole of Dubai is so expensive, so I would recommend including breakfast in your room booking and even consider half board or full board as an added option as it will probably save you money in the long run. Would stay here again next time in Dubai.

Decent hotel for the Dubai price point. Lots of restaurants and bars and easy access to west beach area Half board was good value Club lounge opening was a little early at 5-7. They tried to charge after but no one stays The pool area is a little small for size of hotel and hence overcrowded. Beds also face in wrong direction and in shade. Sizeable beach area was the decent alternative option If staying on club floor ask to avoid rooms in corners as they have cramped balcony and no view from the room itself (probably same on all floors ??). Rooms themselves were good

The rooms are very nice and clean. However, the pool was little dirty for me every day, and requesting an extra pool towel felt like asking for a free night’s stay. During checkout, I encountered issues. Although I had paid using my Expedia points, the staff claimed I hadn’t paid and wouldn’t let me leave the hotel. Instead of contacting Expedia themselves, they asked me to do it or pay for the room again. This hotel is suitable if you're without kids, but there are too many stairs to the pool if you have a buggy. Getting the free bottled tap water was a nightmare as it was located in the same place you get the towels. Again, one bottle at a time for a family of four doesn’t last long. Hilton, the price of the room doesn’t justify the service you get at the hotel.

Luxurious, clean and lobby smells amazing! The rooms aren’t huge but we were upgraded for free. Our room was also ready early in the morning as we arrived on an early flight. It’s not the most convenient location but staying on the Palm isn’t, we used taxis but there is also a metro that takes you up and down the Palm, nearby. It’s also next to the boardwalk which is lovely in the evenings. We liked the Palm the best out of all the areas we visited in Dubai. Just be warned that having rooms at the pool side can be noisy at night, especially if your on the side with Barfly and the BBQ restaurant as you can hear their music til late. The Saturday night was also noisy as the hotel next door is a bit of a party hotel. There’s was also a wedding on the beach outside on the Saturday we were there, extremely loud music but this was daytime and I quite enjoyed it. Earplugs at night will help, we found most of the nights pretty quiet after about 11pm. The staff were all very professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great, lots of choice. We did half board and you get a sum of up to £30 for either lunch or dinner and all of the restaurants inside the hotel are of a high standard. We mainly used this voucher for lunch. Getting a sun bed right at the pool wasn’t easy thought about 3pm plenty become available, but there were always sunbeds further away from the pool. I would go back, the pool/sea view is gorgeous but would be quieter staying on the other side of the hotel

I was actually looking to write somewhere regarding our delightful stay. We have always been a Marriott guest however I decided to try the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah and I’m so glad we did. I was blown away with the whole experience of entering the lobby, the very helpful staff, the lifts always being there when you needed them and not having to wait around. The room upgrade was much appreciated and were we shocked. The room was absolutely wonderful, so much space, specially with us having lots of luggage as this stay was our finale of a 20 day holiday from UK to India and Dubai. You had an amazing choice of restaurants which we tried the one on the beach front. Loved it. Us being a foodie people were only disappointed by our own health as we didn’t have good stomachs since landing in Dubai. I was so much looking forward to going to the Claw BBQ and the Trader Vic’s plus the bars. I’m upset that we missed out on so much you had to offer which on a prefect day we would have been enjoying it. We made use of the spa facility which was amazing too. Oh how can I forget the breakfast. I was crying inside that I couldn’t try everything. The NYC & fireworks view from our balcony was prefect for the evening. Hopefully they’ll be a time for us to visit again. I bet you wasn’t expecting such a long message. I just wanted to say we really enjoyed our stay and I’m sure we will be looking to book a Hilton in our upcoming Japan trip.

Although a great hotel in terms of presence and location. The reception staff here are incompetent and borderline rude. There are three tiers of rooms, road view, partial sea view, and full sea view. I paid for a full sea view room, was given an obstructed view of the sea which you can only see once you step onto the balcony. When I brought this up to the staff, in fact the manager they said there’s no such thing as a partial sea view (which is an outright lie - try searching the options for rooms on Expedia). They then asked me to come back in 3 hours for the room change which I did, and the new room still wasn’t ready (!) and to come back in another 2 hours! To which I spoke to the manager again who finally changed it. Was promised a porter to come and help with the luggage who never arrived. Infact when we went to the old room to collect the luggage ourselves, the door had been left wide open with our belongings all on display! Upon checkout I gave this feedback and the reception staff still insisted that there’s no such thing as a partial sea view room and that they did us a favour by moving room. It’s just plain rude and incompetence. You need to check how your price and advertise your rooms! Why was I given an option to pay for a full sea view room which is more expensive than the partial then? Are you duping me? I won’t be booking here ever again!

Great location, easy to get on and off the palm. Pool area was ok. We booked an executive room which was sadly practically under bar fly which has loud music playing until 12am-1ish weekdays and 2am-3am weekends. If you like your sleep, ensure your room is located on the other side. Nice executive lounge serving afternoon tea and happy hour daily. Good clean hotel, nothing spectacular but a guaranteed safe option.

Our stay started off really well as the manager on duty really went the extra mile while checking us in( we were a party of 26 guests). However there was a manager on duty on Friday 2nd August, whose name is Mariam. She was absolutely unprofessional when a member of our party slipped on a wet floor in the dining room and twisted her knee during dinner. She again left me with 7 pieces of luggage which she had promised to send a bell boy to help me carry. I eventually ended up carrying the 7 boxes downstairs myself. So this really marred my experience.

The Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay. The hotel boasts a prime location with easy access to various attractions and amenities. Guests will appreciate the beautiful beach and the exceptional cleanliness maintained throughout the property. One of the standout features of this hotel is the staff. For instance, despite my flight landing at 5:30 am, the hotel graciously allowed me to check in early and even provided a buffet breakfast that morning, which was a delightful surprise. Arrived for check-in, told room isn’t ready despite being passed check-in time. No apology or compensation offered considering the 10hr journey there. Was told they’d call me once room is ready, 2hrs later back to reception for an update as no call had been received, the lady said to me “don’t worry, it’ll be worth the wait” the snobbery at the hotel is unbelievable. Anyway eventually a room was ready only to find it’s been prepared for a couples anniversary with balloons and swan towels! Also, the walls are thin, could hear the guest next door on the phone. Mini bar was empty, had to call reception. For a 5 star hotel, this was an awful experience. Consider the Marriott next door instead.

Stayed 10 days and regretted my stay every single day. Very bad and slow service, employees are totally uninterested and unwelcoming. I complained about a very bad smell in the hallway ( a sweaty, musty oder) nothing was done about it. Considering the amount of money I paid for what should be a luxury 5 stat hotel, tge service was a 3 stat hotel level. The fact that you get free internet access for only one week and after that you have to pay extra is a scandal. Compared to other 5 star hotels in same street that I stayed at before this was absolutely terrible. Definitely not coming back. Do your self a favor and stay away.

Stayed 11 nights

The hot food at breakfast was below par for a 5-star hotel. My wife and I paid about 10,000 Australian dollars for 10 1/2 nights. The regular feature at breakfast was noodles packed with soya sauce, and fried rice; sometimes, chicken wings. Smoked salmon was not a daily feature. Will not stay at the Hilton ever again.
