The room we had was very small. We couldn't open the bathroom door without blocking the area in front. We could not sit at the desk to work without blocking the other person access around the desk to the windows/curtains and side of the bed. We could not fit our luggage on the luggage rack because the rack was too big for the closet it was in, and there was no other room in the room itself. They had a sitting bench in front of the bed which took up room but it was necessary because it became our lugggage rack. So, if only for sleeping, must be fine. We inquired about a larger room, but only the 1st floor had larger rooms though these were out of comission due to rain. Rather funny.

It was OK, this is all about the location. There are no free amenities like coffee in the morning we paid extra for a patio room that looked nothing like the picture. The Hotel did wave our parking for us because there was such a difference in the picture and what our actual room was so that was helpful. The pool area is small and our king size room was really weird. I had no full length mirror and you had to go upstairs to use the bathroom. Just not a convenient way out. The decorations were nice. I just didn’t find it very comfortable.

LOVED THIS PLACE! It seems recently renovated in the BEST decor (midcentury vibes, gorgeous colors, plush furniture). The bed was sooooo comfy. I slept like a rock! Didn't hear other guests, traffic, etc. Didn't even hear the green parrot brigade patrolling the skies of Pasadena. (Those are LOUD birds.) The room was beautiful, comfortable, quiet, very clean. If I remember right, the shampoo didn't lather up very well, and I wished I had had my own, but my hair got clean. If you're picky about shampoo, pack your fave. Can't WAIT to stay here again! :) Well done, Hotel Dena! You are a class act.
