Two words ‘community microwave’. A nice clean safe budget oriented property with clean bathrooms, linens, extremely polite and helpful staff and a nice little tourist area. A very budget minded option for family and business travelers.. Disappointed with the lack of microwave and coffee maker in the rooms like most hotels provide today but they have a lovely little breakfast bar every morning and 24 hour hot beverages available. I think this is nice as you can get for the money and when traveling for business, we will stay here again..

I have been coming to this hotel for the last 2 years. Few times a year. Very nice staff very convenient location and the pool is great! The coffee is really good too. I do wish there was a microwave in the room.

The hotel is conveniently located by I-95 and Old Mystic Village. Daily breakfast is simple but decent. The pool is nice. The rooms are comfortable and roomy. Tgere were a number of families staying here so I think it meets their needs.

The staff were lovely and the location was very convenient. Several restaurants and attractions were only minutes away. The facility was nothing special, but they allow cats and dogs, which was great. The breakfast was minimal, but it was included. My room had ants,whih was annoying, but I dealt with it.

This hotel is 3 stars for a reason. It looks run down. It feels run down. The rooms were clean and good enough but it just felt old and dingy. The sprinkle pipes were painted orange and running through the hallway and into the bathroom of the rooms. It looks really ghetto. The breakfast was on the second floor which seemed odd but it was a nice enough service. The hotel just felt old and broken down but honestly the rooms were fine. The heating/cooling system worked. The beds were comfortable enough.

A little disappointed at our stay at the hotel. The location was great and so was the pool. Unfortunately the only microwave in the hotel was in the common area (breakfast area), cable was out almost our entire stay (we squeezed in part of a movie one evening), you hear when anyone leaves/comes into their rooms because the doors slam so loud (forget about sleeping in) and our cover was highly stained (we removed it completely) on one bed and sheets had red stains on the other :-/

Our stay at spark was great! We stopped for the night as we were passing through and it is in a great location! Very convenient to shops and downtown Mystic. The only negative was how easy it was to hear others through the walls. At times it was like I was in the room with the people next to me. If you are on the first floor, you can hear every step above you as well.

Convenient location to Mystic Seaport Museum. Facility was clean and staff very accommodating and friendly. My only complaint is when we showed up early to ask if our room was ready we were told it was but they have an early check in fee. Obvious money grab which was a turnoff but probably came from corporate and not the fault of the workers there. Would stay there again.

This property was very clean. We arrived very late and the check in guy was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the maintenance guys giving us information on where to find the best beaches in the area. We had so much fun at the recommended beach. Also, the management staff greeted us in the breakfast area later in the afternoon with Mystic pizza and soda, which I had never seen a hotel do, so that was very much appreciated as well. We loved our stay here, and if we are ever in the area again, we definitely will be staying here!

I enjoyed my stay at this property. Everything was quite nice. The only thing that I wish they had offered was an in-room coffee maker. They do offer 24/7 coffee on the second floor, as well as a continental breakfast. However, I would’ve preferred to have been able to make my own coffee in my room without having to get dressed and venture down the hall. Other than that, it was a very nice hotel and I’d certainly stay there again.

The Spark hotel was perfect for our quick visit to Mystic CT. This is a very nice budget hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was very quiet. Admittedly this is a budget hotel - but it was perfect for our needs. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of bagels, muffins, dry cereal, juice, and coffee. Oh, and the location is great, on Rt 27 just north of I-95 in Mystic (exit 90). We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has seen better days. Our first room had some kind of water leak that flooded our bathroom so at 10:30 p.m. we had to change rooms. They both smelled musty and stale; probably people had smoked in the rooms years before. The place was clean, though, and the beds were good. The staff was very friendly although the hotel appeared shorthanded. Breakfast was pretty lame.- a bagel bar, cereal, instant oatmeal. Overall, our stay was just okay but we wouldn't stay there again. You really do get what you pay for.

The hallways/stairways were not as updated and had quite a bit of wear and tear so we were pleasantly surprised that our room was mostly updated with only a few dated items. Room was clean which is what matters! Breakfast was all cold items (bagels, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal).

Everything was as it should be. The room was well appointed and had many charging stations for phones and such. The pool area was great and the high point of the stay for me. Next door was a very good sports bar / restaurant so eating good food was easy. The breakfast was fine also. Definitely would stay again.

We didn't have a great experience with this hotel. Being part of a Hilton, we had higher expectations! The pool was not clean and had visible huge, chunks of hair floating in it. A big turn off! The tub did not have a working drain stopper so I couldn't take a tub bath which I was looking forward to. The toilet wouldn't flush consecutively so you'd have to wait several minutes in the bathroom to keep trying. It also felt like the toilet wasn't attached to the floor because every time you got up it it felt like it would separate. Towels were tiny and stained. Bed sheet had some blood spots and blankets were paper thin. There were no drawers to put your clothes in and the air conditioner temperature was locked and would not stay on so it would get warm in the room. Couldn't take it any longer so we left a day early. Disappointed overall and we will stick with the Marriott chains!

A perfect blend of Hilton luxury hotel and a basic 2-3 star hotel. Nice upgrade from an old Best Western. Clean, fresh, comfortable beds. Nice breakfast bar. Hospitable staff. I would stay here again.
