What guests think

Hotel Kavia Plus earns praise for its central Cancun location near ADO and Las Palapas, generally clean, modern rooms with comfortable beds, and good value, along with helpful staff and smooth check‑in for short, budget‑friendly stays.

Multiple reviews note hallway noise and thin walls, and some rooms lack exterior windows or ventilation. Guests also report occasional issues with drainage, hot water, or air conditioning, plus intermittent odors or insects, and a sometimes unfriendly front desk. Facilities are basic: the rooftop pool and views are appreciated but cleanliness or closures can occur, the gym is minimal, parking is small, and breakfast quality, inclusion, and hours vary. Expect a simple, central base rather than a quiet, resort‑style stay.

Good. But when I arrived at the midnight due to the delay of flight, I would like to have a picking up service but they don't have. The swimming Pool is good, but too hot at daytime because it at the top floor of the building.

This property has no amenities. No hair dryer, iron, or even washcloths in the room. Didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave. Pool was small and the gym was three cardio machines and a weight bench with no weights. This is the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. The open floor plan means you can hear every door slam, people taking in the hallways, and children screaming or crying on every floor at all hours of the night and day.

Overall the Hotel was good enough to enjoy our Vacation. The room was clean, the bed was combatable and the check-in and out process was fast. My only concerns about this Hotel was the amount of Gnats that appeared in the room and the nose levels, as everything is echoed though out and the fact that my room did not have a widow. But for the price it was worth it, however next time I would spend the extra money for a resort.

This was okay because of the location- I needed to be near downtown. But I’ve gotten an air B and B on the water with a lot more amenities for the same price. It was vey, very loud. Not from the outside. The way the place is built, the acoustics, so every time a door opens I’d closes, kids crying etc. it is amplified. I had to be up fairly early, but was anyway, no alarm needed. Some coming in late and others up early- just was so noisy all the time I was there from 6 pm to 7 am. Bed also fairly hard. Was clean though, had one of these overhead showers, staff was friendly, and nice touch with the candy bowl. I just think it’s the way it’s structured - so bring earplugs and would work okay for a clean pretty inexpensive place to stay.

Good points, friendly service, quick check in, comfortable bed, good TV with apps such as Netflix and Disney Plus. Bad points, poor ventilation in interior rooms, no window to outside, poor noise insulation so can hear other loud hotel guests at night which disturbs sleep. Overall don't feel it was worth the money paid, though appreciate Cancun as a whole is very expensive. Was an OK choice for a short layover between flights at the airport.

This is a funny one because we were kind of on an adventure and off the beaten path. The hotel is an old building, which is fine. It was clean, the staff were great BUT the photo of dumbbells in the “gym” is a misrepresentation. There is a treadmill, an elliptical, a spin bike that wouldn’t adjust handlebars and some bench thing I didn’t want to figure out. Breakfast is NOT included, we paid for it but it was worth the few pesos. It was good food and the ladies were really great, we enjoyed that but it ain’t included as advertised. Overall, the taqueria 2 blocks down was awesome!
