We loved our time here. House was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed the game room in the garage and the hot tub after hiking Yosemite. We even saw a mule deer in the neighbor’s yard one afternoon. Depending on traffic, you can get to the South Gate of Yosemite in an hour. It’s a little longer to the west gate but the drive is gorgeous. We went to Yosemite 3 days while we were there. We ate at South Gate brewery and the hitching post. They both were great. We can’t recommend this place enough for a Yosemite vacation.

We feel so lucky to have found this fantastic house. It was immaculately clean and well-appointed, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to make our meals. Our kids absolutely loved the pool, hot tub, game room, fire pit for s’mores, and of course, the ponies! Beth was the most welcoming and responsive host, and had great advice on when to head into Yosemite to beat the lines, where to pick up groceries, etc. It was an easy drive to get into the valley. Cannot recommend this house highly enough for families visiting Yosemite. We hope to be back soon!

This was one of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed at. We loved the hot tub, game room pool, a well stocked kitchen, big porch with a grill, beautiful surroundings,bunk beds for the kids so that everyone had their own bed, and it was so quiet and private. We absolutely loved it!

This home was perfect for our first family vacation with our toddler. The swings, pool and ponies kept our little boy busy after visits to Mariposa and Yosemite. Once he was down, we enjoyed the quiet of the back deck and the hot tub. The nearby Hitching Post was kid friendly and all the Mariposa stores and restaurants were accommodating. Beth was very responsive and helpful and the house is very well appointed - exactly as you’d expect from the listing. Thanks for an awesome stay!

We had a very nice stay at this property. It was conveniently located between Mariposa and Oakhurst which both have interesting shops, art venues and wine bars. The house was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed using the hot tub and fire pit at the end of the day. There is also an above ground pool, very large backyard and game room which we did not have time to use. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. It is approx a 1 hour drive to the South entrance to Yosemite. I highly recommend this property if you are planning a Yosemite trip if you don’t mind the 1 hour drive to the park.

We booked the property because of the pool. There is no pool. The games in the game room were missing pieces or broken and the tv out there didn't even work.Beutiful location, great town but needs to be an accurate description online.

House was so spacious and clean. Had plenty of spices and oils for cooking. Coffee was great and house really did have everything need to cook. Game room was great with various games. Back deck was so comfortable with hot tub, grill and fire place. Had plenty of chairs and a beautiful view. Definitely recommend and will look forward to stay there in the future.

This property was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We used this as our base when visiting Yosemite. The kids loved the game room, visiting with the horses, and getting in the pool after a day of hiking at Yosemite. The owners were great to communicate with and quick to answer any of my questions. We loved being close enough to Mariposa for dinners and groceries, but also loved being a little out of town to enjoy the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains. I would highly recommend this property!

This is a fantastic home and its location is perfect. Yosemite is only an hour away. The small town of Oakhurst is about 40 mins away. There are a lot of restaurants to enjoy in Oakhurst. The house was super clean.The only small issue is the tub drain in the shared bathroom. It needs to be fixed.

This house had everything we needed to rest and be entertained. Hot Tub was amazing! Just be careful getting in and out. It is pretty slippery inside. The shower had plenty of hot water, and we had plenty of towels. The internet worked well and we didn't have any dead spots that we found while there. The back porch was our favorite hang out spot and very scenic. We did have a problem with the house A/C struggling to keep the bedroom cool at night, but it wasn't anything that we couldn't handle. We just are used to our personal preference of sleeping in a freezer and the bedroom stayed about 70-72 degrees. There are animals just outside the door of the house, but they did not wake us or make a lot of noise. We loved having a washer and dryer to get all our clothes clean before flying back home. Overall, this was a great place to stay. Close enough to Yosemite and a cute little town with some decent food. We found ourselves wanting to just hang at the house because it offered so much. We definitely would come back again!

Excellent presentation on the outside and the inside was the same, with all these Yosemite themed quirky decorating items throughout the house. Communication was great with Beth. My family from Australia loved it including my granddaughter who loved seeing the animals on the property.

The house was the perfect size and layout for our family. The hot tub and game room were great. Was nice to have access to the pool but because of the location, we didn't use it that much. We visited Yosemite one day. There isn't much else around the house but if you just want a place to relax and unwind, this place was awesome. You might even get a visit from Eddie the cat who was a sweetheart.

Beth was an amazing host. From the moment we booked until we left (and even afterwards!) she made sure that we were prepared, comfortable, and enjoying ourselves. She gave great tips beforehand and while we were there to make our stay as California cool as possible. The home is immaculate, but cozy. It has all the amenities and then some to please teenagers and adults alike. We enjoyed every moment there!

This property was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We used this as our base when visiting Yosemite. The kids loved the game room, visiting with the horses, and getting in the pool after a day of hiking at Yosemite. The owners were great to communicate with and quick to answer any of my questions. We loved being close enough to Mariposa for dinners and groceries, but also loved being a little out of town to enjoy the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains. I would highly recommend this property!

We were 2 families (5 Adults, 1 Teen and 2 Children) that stayed at this property for 3 nights. This was our annual family traditional New Year getaway to Yosemite. The house has everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. The rooms, common area, kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had all the supplies you would need. (Bring your own toiletries, which i prefer!!). The Property itself is on a really nice resort type setting, could not get to go out much coz of the persistent rain, but looked really well maintained when we did get out for a bit to explore the property. The hosts were AWESOME!! We lost power due to the rains, and the hosts called in less than 3 minutes, came over and turned on the generators. They are very responsive to messages and made us feel very welcome. Thank you Beth for being AWESOME. We will definitely come back and stay here again this summer. Regards

Depending on traffic, you can get to the South Gate of Yosemite in an hour. It’s a little longer to the west gate but the drive is gorgeous. We went to Yosemite 3 days while we were there. We ate at South Gate brewery and the hitching post. They both were great. We can’t recommend this place enough for a Yosemite vacation.

This is a fantastic home and its location is perfect. Yosemite is only an hour away. The small town of Oakhurst is about 40 mins away. There are a lot of restaurants to enjoy in Oakhurst. The house was super clean.The only small issue is the tub drain in the shared bathroom. It needs to be fixed.

In our opinion, this property is Perfect!! Immaculately clean, uncluttered, great ambiance, super amenities (pool, game room, outdoor space) and the kindest and most responsive host. Beth was wonderful, the home was wonderful. Good Proximity to Yosemite (under an hour) and close to 2 great towns (Mariposa & Oakhurst) for dining options and shopping. We loved it here. This house is half way between Mariposa and Oakhurst which was perfect. About 50 mins to the sequoia grove and a bit over an hour to Yosemite Valley. The house is beautiful and had all you need for a comfy stay. Lots of wildlife came to visit including deer, bunnies, birds, and more. There is a swimming pool to cool off in and mini horses to pet. Super close to Mariposa Coffee Co which had super coffee. The host is amazing and was highly communicative bc a fire started two days prior to our arrival and she wanted us to know we would be safe. We would love to come back and most definitely would stay here. Visit Mariposa as they have great restaurants and two museums. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We feel so lucky to have found this fantastic house. It was immaculately clean and well-appointed, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to make our meals. Our kids absolutely loved the pool, hot tub, game room, fire pit for s’mores, and of course, the ponies! Beth was the most welcoming and responsive host, and had great advice on when to head into Yosemite to beat the lines, where to pick up groceries, etc. It was an easy drive to get into the valley. Cannot recommend this house highly enough for families visiting Yosemite. We hope to be back soon!

This was one of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed at. We loved the hot tub, game room pool, a well stocked kitchen, big porch with a grill, beautiful surroundings,bunk beds for the kids so that everyone had their own bed, and it was so quiet and private. We absolutely loved it!

We surprised our kids with this place and they absolutely loved it. We had to drag them away because they were having such a good time. The pool & hot tub were really great features to have and the girls loved the miniature horses as well as the new baby horse they now have. The layout of the house was great and the kitchen was really nice to use for cooking. It’s not too far of a drive to Yosemite either. Last but not least, the beds were really comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if we are back in that area in the future.

House was so spacious and clean. Had plenty of spices and oils for cooking. Coffee was great and house really did have everything need to cook. Game room was great with various games. Back deck was so comfortable with hot tub, grill and fire place. Had plenty of chairs and a beautiful view. Definitely recommend and will look forward to stay there in the future.

This could have been a bust vacation with the crazy strange weather of early 2023, but we ended up having a good break. When weather allowed we went on local excursions, such as the mining museum and Morningstar Lane walk. When we had short breaks in the weather, the kids loved lavishing attention on the placid miniature horses. And when the weather was awful, we enjoyed a lovely and well appointed house. In particular, we had everything in the kitchen to cook all our meals, very comfortable beds, and inside and outside options for a nice hot soak.
