Older hotel, so not as well insulated from hallway noises. The staff were excellent. The breakfast was included and was pretty good. The afternoon cookies were delicious. 😀

Our stay at the Century Hotel was remarkable. Never knowing what to expect at a hotel that I have never been to can be scary. What I really liked about this lovely hotel there was no carpeting in any of their rooms. When I first entered the room, I was not expecting a natural, fresh scent of a professionally groomed room. It was perfect! It did feel like home; the staff went out of their way to be kind, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was sweet; it felt like being at home, spotless, and just so relaxing!! I am a hard person to please at times. On the morning of checkout, we left feeling content, satisfied, and honored!!! We really appreciated you all! Thank you!!

My primary complaint is that there was dust everywhere - on the top rim of the bedside lamp, the top edge of the padded headboard and the ledge at the top of the stairs from the registration area. Also the room had a damp, musty smell that ended up remaining in the hose of my CPAP machine. The night I returned home I could still smell it. On the positive side, the staff were super friendly and helpful especially the lady who was working in the breakfast room on Saturday! Also, the beds were very comfortable and I had no problem sleeping once I was able to block out the sound made by the refrigerator! Finally, FYI - there is no elevator so if you have issues with stairs ask for a first floor room. Even though there is an upper level parking lot at the front of the building, there are still 3 stairs to go down to get to the guest rooms.
