Temptation Cancun Resort - All Inclusive - Adults Only

This is amazing property well maintained. Staff is very accommodating, Pool activities are fun. Pool is gorgeous.

Cleanliness is not the best. The pool is like a bath tub not refreshing at all, and soooo many people peeing in it. The pool activities get a little out of hand

The resort has the best vibe of any resort we have ever been too. Love the parties. Only issue was the construction but we also understand that they need to keep the resort updated. They had different locations for the bash. The roof top was our favorite after they moved the bash party.

Always a good party! Dislike how they bombard you for their membership and are relentless. Food options are great and nightlife is extremely entertaining. Great fitness center

Restaurants at night are the highlight. Buffet is sub par. Beach location is poor and smells with dirty water. Bar staff and some other staff are not as friendly as other all inclusives in the area. Property and rooms are run down and in need of a major renovation. And for goodness sake, keep pools and hot tubs open past 7. Beach is poor in this area so that’s not an option. Also, top pool deck should not close at 7. Many guests need spaces to get away from the crowd and party for a bit. Don’t close off these spaces so early in an adult only resort.

Amazing shows, parties, and people! The food was better than expected, and the other guests were friendly and wild!

The pool shall be cleaned more often and disinfected. The water isn’t clear. The “she” restaurant reservation shall be changed and replaced. Waiting one hour in line, without even knowing that you’ll get your reservation, isn’t a best option for this price hotel.

Food is not great. The beach is not great. You are here for the party!

Cons: - 2nd floor room has a roof few. Barely any ocean very disappointing for the price paid. - I wouldn’t recommend for younger (under 40) couples. Crowd is respectful just may not be right vibe for younger ppl. - Some reservations to restaurants are booked prior to reservation windows open but manager try to make it right if you complain… - The shop downstairs is super overpriced ($61 USD slippers). - beach is tiny - didn’t like room at all.. Pros - Food overall is good but no spices added. Tastes like what it is but fresh. - room service included

Resort is just ok. On par with others in the category. Rooms and facilities were very clean.

The rooms were nice but we didn’t really get the ocean view more of a quiet pool view. The party scene is fun but for the price people pay the rooms should be a little more maintained.

The cleanliness indoors and outdoors was immaculate. The staff was very vigilant and friendly. Everything was great. We will be returning.

Clean rooms and amazing staff

Excellent service! Delicious food and drinks. Garden view room was dark and rundown. Smelled like sewage. Glad we upgraded to Ocean view. That room was bright, bigger and clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would suggest an additional wall mirror though. The closet mirror was a little annoying to use. Would highly recommend this resort and we will definitely be back

No a nice view at all. We were looking to a plain wall. In the middle of the night A/C was making a lot of noise we called the front desk asking for help it was hard to sleep because of that. We requested a different room but they only offer someone to came and check the A/C around 3:30 am.

Resort was great, hotel not so much. No beach view, no view at all. Probably the worst room in hotel (9326) Stuck in a corner with only a view of mechanical or cooling units. Extremely loud wind that blew into the corner outside. Mirrors had something black on them and one of the doors had a broken latch. Used the foot stool to keep it closed.

We stayed in the playful Towers with an ocean view. Our stay was very nice (AC was too cold) but other then that everything was amazing. the staff all amazing everywhere. Front desk Hayver and Odaly's were super helpful even gave us an additional hour to pack up past check out since we lost track of time. The waiters and waitress at the food places where all amazing We took the hobie cat out wind surfing and enjoyed the beach water was super presurable even for hurricane season. if stormed almost everyday but they just brought the party inside for us. Room service did a great job every day with cleaning our room and doing turn down service every night. overall super pleased. and will definitely be regular members.

The concept of the hotel is great but the rooms need to be updated. It's just very cold and old looking. It looks like a motel. We didn't even have a table and chairs in our room to eat for room service. The room is not something I would want to stay in again.

The hotel is somewhat outdated, but everything else was great! We had a lot of fun!

Room was clean. Staff is amazing and incredibly hard working. My only complaint is that they seem to have fewer pool side wait staff than in years past and a lot more employees there that are trying to either upsell you or sign you up for something. It ended up making the pool experience not quite as good as it used to be.

There is nothing like the fun vibe that TTR provides. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Andrea's team of Abdiel & Odalys made for an extremely smooth check in and check out. The housekeeping team promptly cleaned and organized our room each day. The employees go out of their way to make sure our stay was great. Our favorite part of TTR is hanging out at the pool during the day and meeting so many friendly guests. The servers remember what we're drinking and bring us refills before we even ask. What a fun time!

Check in was easy and fast, the staff were all so kind and the food was great the entire trip.

The staff at the resort are excellent and go above and beyond. I would say that upon entry the room could’ve been cleaner however they did turn it around when they can to clean the room the following day. I would say the biggest reason to rate it three stars would be the food it was just not great consistently. The drinks were always great and the entertainment was also pretty decent.

Amazing!service great, staff friendly and the food was great, better than some other hotels we stayed. Julio the bartender was great at the bar.

Amazing service from all the staff. It is the reason why we keep coming back again and again! We cannot thank enough Andrea Flores Gonzales who always make sure we are placed in our favourite building and room. In addition, Jose Maria Romero always makes sure that we have our special spot setup so that we can enjoy the sunny days. Odalys and Sofia at the front desk are always super helpful and make sure our stay is comfortable! Our days would start at the breakfast grill where Adali and Keyla always made our omelettes and eggs just perfect! Cannot forget the excellent service at the Flame restaurant where Ladislao, Ismael, Ernesto and Aldo always make sure our food arrives just on time and just as we like it! Alejandro, the Manager at Romanza, went a long way to make sure my wife was comfortable on a night where we could not get a suitable table. Then, at our favourite restaurant, the Sea Flirt, every single waiter has been fantastic: Ramon, Felipe, Hugo and Sinue - thank you so much! And Claudia, the hostess, would always get our favourite table! The bartenders at Bash start making our drinks the moment they see us coming. Ronnie, Elias, Hendricks and Abraham, you work so hard! Last but not least, Sergio at Caffeine - you are a barista extraordinaire! My wife has complicated coffee orders but you always made those flawlessly - thank you so much! To all the amazing staff - it is no wonder we always yearn to return for another amazing vacation with you! Thank you!

It was not a great experience. It was our first time in the property and the first 3 days were horrible. Our original room booked thru Expedia promised an ocean view but we did not have ocean view. We had a building in front. The AC was broken, no light in the bathroom, no elevator, the room was old and pourly maintained. After complaining and almost leaving the hotel we were “offered “ a very expensive paid upgrade to another room which was not available for Expedia reservation members. The food quality is not the best. The staff is friendly but very aggressive trying to sell you the premier membership. We will no be back to this hotel ever again.

The resort is beautiful and, very well maintained. What I didn't like is the 3 hours of unsolicited membership options that we were subjected too. This should be optional, but, we felt forced to listen. That was a complete turn OFF!

Todo el personal muy amable y servicial. El único “pero” fue en particular una persona de promoción que acosó a mi esposa y a mi. Pesar de que en varias ocasiones le dijimos, de manera expresa, que no nos interesaba ni obtener información, menos aún adquirir una membresía, a tal grado que se colocó frente a nosotros ni dejándonos caminar. Si la primera regla del hotel es “no es no”, los primeros en respetarla deben ser los propios empleados. Muy desagradable situación, con independencia de lo grosera y mal educada de esta persona que, por supuesto, no representa al resto del personal que es amabilísimo. Mucho atención en este rubro porque es la primera impresión de cualquier huésped que hace el ceheck in en el hotel.

The hotel is amazing and the people who works there are more amazing. We stayed for the all night party and Cowboy and Red Bull did an incredible job running the event. Lot of fun! Thank you Odalyss at the check in. She is very professional and always with a smile. Thank you Luigi and Ben at the pool bar. You make the best drinks! Thank you Giovanni and Francisco at management for always being so attentive and always asking how we are and making sure that we are always taking care of. Temptation is an unique place and an unique experience

It was a great experience. Definitely have an open mind when visiting. Room was cozy, internet was great, the area has easy access to transportation at a VERY low cost (local buses). 10/10 recommend

This place is full-on all day, even the quiet area can still be affected by the main pool music but if you want to party this is the place. The Sea front location is beautiful!

Wow Temptaions ! What a time ! What happens there and what’s seen there stays there. Very clean property. Great breakfast buffet . We are at the steak house and loved it . The property is kept up very very well. Everyone is so welcoming and inviting . There’s a quiet pool to recover and relax away from the mayhem . Tips to the hotel : you need a late night snack place besides room service . You also need to work the bathroom design out better . It’s way too dangerous and fall prone . The beach had too much seaweed . The drinks flow !!! Wear your pineapples

The staff was wonderful, fast prop you had access to the beach that was very easy to get to the clean rooms the balcony of view the option of leaving getting two places that were very close

La playa sucias en toda las areas bien sucias , imposibles ballarse en la playa, no parase tan limpias como en las fotos aparecen , creo que se utilisa las imajenes falsa para atraer a los clientes para que despues de estar en el hotel no se puwde haser nada .grasias no lo recpmiendo si van a querer ballarse en la playa

People weren’t fun and friendly, basically looking around at each other. This is not the resort for you if you are traveling solo. The beach was the worse experience.

The beach wasn't too beautiful.

Temptations resort is steps away from the beach offers beautiful views of the ocean. Staying at Temptations is always amazing because the resort is very clean, offers fantastic dining, a fun and exciting atmosphere and the friendliest staff. We have been many times and will continue to go back 2-3 times a year.

Too much seaweed in a small beach

My stay at this hotel was just OK! The lack of elevators was very disappointing because you had to climb at least 3-4 flights of stairs to get from your room to the main lobby, or up a steep ramp. The only elevators were in the main hotel. I was bit up by some type of bugs from my face down to my feet! I am still dealing with the bites 3 days after leaving. Everyone should have access to all restaurants. There should not be an excessive up charge for steak, lobster, and crab. The focus could be more on a great dining experience instead of just entertainment. Also STOP WATERING DOWN THE DRINKS! I noticed that the drinks were all watered down. I had nothing but shots and I’m not a regular drinker, but I got no buzz. I had to purchase outside alcoholic beverages because the drinks were not good! Serve real champagne and not sparkling wine. Stop being so pushy on trying to get people to participate in timeshare presentations. It’s very annoying and the gifts aren’t worth the hassle. Because once you decline the offer the staff turns rude! Speaking of staff, although most of the restaurant staff were pleasant I noticed that their motivation was the tips. I asked to be moved to another section because it was too cold u see the A/C unit, the staffer told me to go move and walked away from us. Not cool! Overall I give my stay a 4.5 out of 10. The best part was the octopus tacos

Trendy Ocean View rooms are amazing! Extremely clean and stocked well. We have been four times to the resort and the waiters Micky, Louis, Lucia are amazing. We actually consider them to be friends. They go above and beyond every day. We prefer the buffet because there is such a huge variety of food. We absolutely love the staff at this resort. We are coming back in December for our fifth trip and are counting down the days.

Great food and atmosphere

Check in and check out was very easy process. The resort is clean, the food was very good and the party vibe is excellent. The only downside was that we lost hot water the last two days and you have to pay extra for premium liquor such as Jack Daniels which in our opinion isn’t premium at all. Overall good experience and will come back again.

Beach front dumpster in front of our oceanfront ocean view suite. Used mustard packets in our chips basket, and the only excuse is that they were busy in the roof top restaurant, not acceptable at all and no apology. Never going back there again. Limited dining options, and fee for some of the previously included restaurants.

Likes : Bash is great. The show they put on is amazing. The entertainers are just gorgeous. The drinks are flowing and its a good time. Lots of people dressed for the theme nights. Sexy Pool -- Again right people keep it lively all day. Great time to meet people and just all around fun. Now be careful though as they do not maintain the tile well enough. Lots of sharp ends especially on the steps into the pool and saw enough people cut their feet open and get hurt. Mgrs dont care. Food: Skytop - Best Place to eat. Room Service is surprisingly next best thing to eat. Sea Flirt -- was a great experience and staff was great Flame, Surtra, She -- All CRAP. Absolutely TERRIBLE experiences. Managers there are worthless. Food is awful. You pay for the filet and lobster everywhere which is fine, but they will screw it up everytime. Medium Rare is always medium well and lobster is chewy and rubbery. Maid -- These people are the ones to tip WELL. They do a PHENOMENAL JOB !!! If you get the VIP check in and checkout. Pass - They are horrible. Concierge will lie to you. We had Arturo avoid him at all cost. I forgot the Bash manager but she is AMAZING ! Michelle there is awesome too but all the Bash folks are great. Oscar / Azul our butler service were great. IF you do get the service only speak to them about anything. Do not even bother with the waiters, host, or managers. None of them should be employed. I would definitely ask for Oscar and Azul.

Great food and service

Imagine eating all of your meals covered in sweat 😰 From the breakfast buffet to all the great dining options, the air-conditioning was not working. My partner almost gave up on getting dressed up nice at night because she knew it would be a sweat bath. This place use to have the best restaurant options/environment, but no one could enjoy them. Staff and entertainment is always great, but the place has gone down.
