My wife and I were attending a event at a local theater and needed a room for just one night. The TownPlace by Marriott Chicago Waukegan/Gurnee was perfect! Plenty of free parking in the well lit lot. Great front desk service during check in (Fran). Coffee, fruit and a few other items in the lobby area were available upon our arrival at 3 pm. The hotel is clean, modern and well laid out. The pool was very nice and the whole area was extremely clean. The room was larger than the usual hotel room with a full refrigerator, stove top, kitchen utensils and other such related items. The bathroom and shower area was a clean and neat as the room. The included breakfast was a real treat and very well done for the type of quick hotel breakfast. The hot food was very welcomed. Excellent stay! Will attempt to stay at a TownePlace Suite whenever possible!

It was amazing like always the only thing with a passion that I hate is people who have they dogs without leashes that is something that is a must and need to be put on a sign everywhere.some people are terrified of dogs.other than that great place great staff great breakfast! Room was very clean and neat! Pool was so much fun gym was totally clean!

Such a nice hotel!!! The amenities were clean and new. Hotel room were so spacious and perfect for our large family. We had a great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is lacking but that’s my only complaint.

The staff at this hotel were wonderful. Very kind and helpful. The place looked well kept and updated. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. My one complaint is that with a 5 night stay there was no maid service. Our trash cans were small and overflowing and we had to request more towels, TP and tissue. It would have been nice to have service at least every other day.

When we arrived around midnight/1 am, it took about 10-15 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk so we could be checked in. Bathroom: I don't understand the purpose of having a half-glass shower door rather than a full door that actually closes... Not sure why this design was chosen because it makes it difficult to stay warm, especially in the winter :)

The room was horrible! The bathroom was cramped and the room door was so far away from the lock area the light just blasted through the room all night we finally stuffed towels in the side of it and wedged a table there to block some of it. We did have a great women there named Fran who was so wonderful and just wanted our stay to be the best. She was awesome and deserves a good medal!!!

This was a great place to stay for our daughter’s Navy boot camp graduation. Easy, short drive to Great Lakes base, shopping and places to eat everywhere, across the street from Sarge’s Meet and Greet, and quiet. We had very noisy upper neighbors and when I told the front desk about it, they went up there and it was quiet from then forward. Good, warm, plentiful continental breakfast every morning, and a nice accommodative staff. Definitely 5 stars and highly recommended!

Such a nice hotel!!! The amenities were clean and new. Hotel room were so spacious and perfect for our large family. We had a great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is lacking but that’s my only complaint.
