Like staying in extended stay properties even for overnights so we can bring our own food and or warm up picked up food in room. AC was not working when we got there in room, promptly sent up maintenance and was fixed in minutes. Only negative, it is ridiculous to charge 5 dollars a night for parking in a massive parking lot. Lots of light out in lot too.

Was hit with charges for parking at $5.00 per day. This was a complete surprise. Frankly speaking, this hotel has a lot of nerve charging guest for parking. Makes no sense. I will not be staying at this hotel in the future

It was a cute, clean and conveniently located hotel stay with amazing amenities like laundry, appliance borrowing and even a small gym available. Plenty of parking! I even noticed its pet friendly and has a cute small outdoor patio on the side of the building. The room was clean and have no complaints. This is a perfect place to stay for Navy graduation. About 7 minutes away from the Great Lakes base. Loved our stay here.

The hotel was nice seemed a bit dated. The gym was by far one of the best hotel gyms I have used. I travel a lot and a nice gym, working equipment is a must. Hard to find one as nice as theirs. Laundry room was large. The rooms are quiet if everyone is asleep but as soon as someone left their rooms or were talking it got noisy. Earplugs helped in this situation. I always travel with earplugs. Nice thing is you could not hear the highway traffic which was nice.

Basic hotel but the rooms have kitchen with full size fridge, cooktop, sink and dishwasher. Very clean and the staff was very nice, especially Medina. Bed was super comfortable. Shower was great too. No lobby and no pool but there was a gym and laundry that I did not use but looked clean. Seemed quiet. Pet friendly place. Would stay again.

My room was not the cleanest, but I was also not expecting the Hilton. It was convenient, and worth every dollar thus far! I recommend this place for anyone needing a cheaper, convenient stay. The full-sized fridge, microwave, two-burner induction stove, plus the gym and free access to laundry were well-appreciated in my stay.

The same hotel staff was working when I checked in one afternoon and out the next morning. The employees were very pleasant at both hours, despite the hotel not having hot water for 10+ hours from the middle of the night until I checked out at 10:00 the next morning. Being in town for a running event, it sure changed the course of the pre race morning without a shower being available.

First room was dirty and lights didn’t work. It wasn’t even clean. We saw other peoples belongings in the room. We went to the 2nd room which was better but the futon had stains all over it. Was absolutely disgusting. The smell was horrible. Mildew carpet, and stale cigg smell Carpet nasty asf! The furniture was beat TF up. Stains on the walls. I was disappointed.

Property is very old and dated, furniture falling apart and stains all over chairs and couch. Glue holding tables together. Killed two roaches. Arrived late from a 13 hour drive..around 1am. Only stayed til the next morning then got up and left to find another hotel because this one was not up to standards. Will never book at Sonesta again

Booked this hotel due to hotel our friends were staying while in town for sons graduation was fully booked. Sonesta was right across the street from their hotel and I booked the 1 bedroom thinking it would be a good place for us all to visit as they had small children traveling with them. We checked in and immediately left to go meet everyone so at first glance room seemed ok. When we returned that night I noticed the restroom was dirty and used bottles of toiletries were left on the shelf but didn’t think much of it but then I went in the kitchen and opened the dishwasher to find dirty dishes from the previous guest, went to the bedroom to plug in chargers and noticed the nightstand was sticky and empty water bottle next to the nightstand which was not ours. I decided at that point I would ask the front desk if they had cleaning wipes so I could wipe things down but they did not have wipes and said they have paper towel in the rooms. I explained room was dirty and needed to be wiped down with a cleaner. They mixed me a bottle of cleaner and gave me gloves and a couple of cloths which I appreciated. I decided to wipe everything down as I knew our friends would be visiting Not only the old water bottle but a bra wire next to the bed, clothing tags in the same area which made it very clear that side of the bed had not been cleaned. Ice maker did not work. I wiped down the living and found trash behind chair and next to the couch.

My stay was terrible. When we checked in, the room was dirty. There were dirty laundry (lingerie) from the prior guests, the toilet seat was broken, the garbage still had garbage in it, the bathroom walls were full of someone else's hair and the vent was disgusting!

We got a very nice stay (4.5 stars). Room is clean and there is a lot of amenities. Great to have a small kitchen. We can even borrow some kitchenware from the front desk, which is very nice. Only one minus point is the bed quality, it is too soft for our preference and the sofa bed is hard is sleep on.

PROS: Staff was super friendly. Room was impressively clean. Kitchen had all we needed. They are very generous with the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and they all actually smelled good. Shopping center is right across the street. CONS: Walls VERY thin and can hear everything in next room and hallway. Last night of stay was sleepless because next room was arguing and had a party with music blasting. Mold coming out of outlet and AC vent. Bathroom tiles cracked and broken. Sofa bed-not even useable-paper thin and completely worn out. Recliner kept closing while sitting in it. TV didnt work in one of our rooms. Stayed 4 nights and never had anyone come to take trash. Very outdated.

We stayed for three nights so that we could see our son graduate from boot camp. We normally stay in high end hotels, so we didn’t have huge expectations for this one. Sadly, the Sonesta dropped well below our low expectations. Within the first day the elevator broke down and was never fixed while we were there. Since we were on the third floor with my elderly parents, this definitely impacted our trip. Then on our last night the hot water broke. We all had to take ice cold showers on our last day. Overall the hotel experience was truly terrible. The one thing that redeemed it all was the incredible staff. They were so friendly and kind and made our crappy stay so very bearable.

Staff was friendly and checked us into our room quickly. Very limited food and other amenities in close proximity to property. We new that before we booked, but didnot know you basically have to walk across a freeway to get to them or drive your car. There are no pedestrian walking paths.

This place was FANTASTIC! If you're going for Naval Graduation, I was, this place is close! 8 min drive and your there! A left, a right, another left and another right... at base! To easy! Staff is absolutely amazing!!! Rooms are clean and they are pet friendly!!

We came to visit our daughter since she’s in the Navy Base,this hotel is not far from the base about 10-15 minutes away…there’s a lot of restaurants a shopping center across the street a lot of options to get food and a Walmart,there’s a full mini kitchen in the room very convenient for people who wants to cook,very friendly and professional staff,we most definitely use this hotel again next time we visit our daughter and their prices are good.

Nice, clean and affordable. The customer service was great! Each attendant were professional and accommodating. Good location, too. Easy on and off the highway and close to shopping, food and the Navy base. (Which is where I was going) I will definitely visit again and will be pleased to use your establishment.

Seriously don’t know why this place is rated so well. To start, the kitchen sink was clogged and smelled so bad I almost threw up. I tried turning on the garbage disposal which did not work. I opened the cabinet to check the status of the garbage disposal and there was a full trash can and loaf of old bread from the previous people. When I told the front desk, they fixed the clog but failed to empty the trash. Also, they do not offer daily housekeeping. If you want clean towels or sheets, you have to take it to the front desk yourself. There is no pool. There is no breakfast. The beverage cooler had only 3 rows of Diet Pepsi and zero other options. Also, they charge you $5/day to park. I absolutely would not stay here again. However, I will say, the staff was very very friendly.
