What guests think

At Hyatt Place Dubai Wasl District, travelers consistently commend the friendly, helpful staff and central location near Union metro, malls, and Old Dubai, while many also like the spacious rooms and apartment-style options suited to families and longer stays.

Cleanliness often rates well, though several reviews report housekeeping lapses, dusty or worn furnishings, flies in public areas, and occasional maintenance oversights. Multiple guests note noise from traffic or late-night music, so light sleepers may prefer higher floors or rooms away from streets and venues. Facilities include a heated but small pool, a good gym, and easy parking; breakfast feedback ranges from exceptional variety and fresh juices to complaints about bland quality, value, and peak-time crowding. Expect a convenient, good-value base with standout service and roomy accommodations, but variable quiet and food quality.

Leyla, the Bhutanese girl and south Indian girl was a gem to work with. the hijabi lady unfortunately wasn't that receptive to my concerns. This is the place to be as old Dubai has all the best malls that have affordable prices . This is also the only part of Dubai that is fairly walkable . Mall right next door ! Gold souk , Bur Dubai all right there. Porters are helpful. Pool is a bit small . The breakfast is good but not the worth the price is you are buying it separately. Across the streets they have a great local places to eat. Metro is 13 mins walk . Nice airconditioning and comfortable beds. 15 mins to airport without traffic . Gym is nice and big . they have a hall to rent so music from that hall can get loud at nice but they shut off the music at 11pm. Ultimately this location is unbeatable.

We stayed at Hyatt Place for over a week and had an amazing experience! The hospitality and service were top-notch throughout our stay. The property is well-maintained, and parking was easy to find. Our room was spacious, and all necessary amenities, like toothbrushes, were provided. We upgraded to a one-bedroom suite, and it was absolutely worth it, especially since it came with two bathrooms! The breakfast buffet was beyond amazing—such a great way to start the day. A special shout-out to Abhi Raam, who was an excellent server in the restaurant, and Shabbir in the lobby, who helped us with taxi arrangements and luggage. We will definitely be back!

Bon voyage

The property itself was very dusty and as I and my family members suffer with allergies it had bothered us throughout our stay. The staff did not vacuum the room properly and at times did not change the sheets when they were dirty. Breakfast options were very bland and lacked taste. Hardly ever ate the breakfast. Overall it is convenient if shopping at Gold Souk and Naïf Market as it is walking distance.
