I enjoy the hot tub every time I stay at this hotel but don't like the view of the freeway. Wished there were palm trees to obscure the view of the freeway. This would make it look tropical and make pictures taken in the hot tub look like a vacation resort.

Aside from the lingering smell of bleach in the bathroom, the shower door that kept rolling open, and the room being right next to the stairs (and therefore occasionally noisy with foot traffic), it was a nice room, good pillows, etc. Staff are friendly. Checkout time is great. Breakfast was slightly above par. The fitness room / gym is fantastic. I don’t know who thinks these in-room coffee makers are great - many hotels have them now - the single-serve coffee filter packets and the little plastic filter trays - they are the worst, and they make the grossest-tasting coffee. I’d rather have instant coffee and a water kettle/boiler.

The power went out about 9:00 pm. used emergency lighting to find the stairway and get down to the lobby. Fire dept. was there helping to rescue someone stuck in the elevator. Front desk person suggested everyone go to another hotel for the night. Fire Dept. said it was safe to stay so we went back to our room and tried to sleep. Very unnerving.

The hotel was pretty new. Everything was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and the shower had a strong showerhead stream. The beds were comfy and the black out shades were great. The TV was big and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was also a lot better than other hotels.

The hotel was very nice the minute you walked into the hotel it smelt so clean and so fresh the staff was very friendly when you checked in when you even walked in you even got complementary water. We arrived late after a long 10 hr drive and just wanted a quiet night’s sleep before heading back on the road. The Front desk staff booked us in and gave us a room right around the corner from the front desk. We had a reservation in advance. It was late so it wasn’t busy. The front desk staff spent the remainder of their shift laughing, taking loud and it basically sounded like a party outside our room. Disappointing when it comes from the front desk staff. We got 4 hrs sleep. The room at $300 was a little expensive considering the sleep was terrible and it was a basic ground floor room. Breakfast wasn’t worth having. Very meh.

What I didn't like was that we had issues with the tv in the room. The remote control was not working properly. My husband went to exchange control to the front desk. Came back and had same issue. They knew we had the issue but I had to be the one to initiate and request a room change. Once we moved to the new room, we then had loud neighbors above us who continuously were walking around late at night very loudly. Overall I know it wasn't the hotels fault, just wish the staff could be more attentive.
