What guests think

Thresh Apartments Airport by Airstay suits short airport stays with many guests praising its very clean, spacious units, convenient location for early flights, and generally smooth, well-explained self check-in supported by responsive communication and optional paid airport transfers.

However, multiple reviews report uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, plus occasional issues like missing TV remote batteries, faulty shower fittings, insects, or intermittent hot water. Guests describe the area as quiet and safe, though dining options within easy walking distance can be limited. Expect a straightforward, practical stopover rather than a full-service hotel experience.

Great property for our overnight stay before heading to the airport. Was able to get a shuttle schedule for the airport and it was only a 13 minute drive.

Big spacious and clean apartment, new building with nice elevator and free parking on the road. The only comment is about the bed, that was not comfortable.

We appreciated how safe and secure the apartments were for an overnight stay before the airport the next morning. Everything was clean and set up for our arrival, we enjoyed having the 3 bedrooms to spread out a bit for better sleep the night before a long travel day. We used their recommended shuttle service and were so pleased with the convenience of the pick up and drop off.

Needed a place to near the airport because earlier flight in the morning. This place worked out well for that… Good communication, its nice because its an apartment, roomy and clean. No problem checking in (communication all through texting) used their recommended taxi service which helped out because they were efficient.

Met our needs. Couple of things are in need of fixing (front door, hanger in bath room). Beds are soft. Thanks for arranging the baby cot. Balcony was nice to have. Close to stores and restaurants which was nice. Access was easy. Instructions great. Shuttle bus at $25 each way worked well.

The property was very nice and spacious. Plenty of room for our whole family to stay. We really liked how the large the balcony was. It was mostly clean, except the garbage under the sink in the kitchen was not emptied from the last visitors. We also found all the bathroom towels to have a musty smell, as if they had been left in the washing machine too long and dried out in the sun. Although our stay was not even 12 hours long, we were happy with how close the airport was (10 mins) from the property, and also the convenience of being able to book a shuttle for our large family for a decent price.

Property was very close to airport - 10 minutes away. Their hookups with taxi service was great. The units are very clean and modern. The wifi is very good, and there are A/C Split units in each room. The major negative is the bedding, I took away a star for that. The beds are terrible and uncomfortable. The pillows are bad as well. The property is within a 7 minute walk to a market and restaurants. This is a great place to stay for a layover from the airport.

The property was in a really handy location for the airport and check in was very easy. The property had everything we needed and was very quiet. We just stayed 1 night as we had an early flight the next day. The remotes to the tv needed batteries & there were none there. TV didn’t work because someone took a battery out of there. Main light in the main bedroom didn’t work but side table lights worked. Otherwise place is comfortable & there are restaurants not too far to walk to.

Close to airport. Safe neighborhood. Tue only hiccup was the address on Expedia was slightly off from the actual property; but the local host was quick to respond to direct me to the actual address. I also had to proactively message Expedia to message local host to send me the door access code to get in the building.

This property was convent to the airport and this was what we were looking for for our last night in Athens. If you don’t have a car it is a long public transportation ride. Metro great but the bus you have to get on doesn’t come by that often. It’s not walking distance to any restaurants or grocery stores even though it stated walking distance. We didn’t find them. We decided to just uber to the beach for the afternoon which is a 10 to 17 euro ride. There were places to eat down there and a couple of grocery stores. The bed was uncomfortable might be time to purchase a new mattress. But the place was clean again very close to the airport for our early flight out. Checking in and out were easy and convenient. I would stay here again.
