What guests think

Boutique Studios & Apartments - by Avelink draws consistent praise for clean, modern, spacious units and smooth, code-based self check-in, making it a convenient, good-value stop for travelers seeking an overnight near Athens International Airport with eateries close by.

Many highlight quick access to taxis or the paid transfer service, secure entry, and occasional perks like an elevator and balconies. Common downsides include street noise in some rooms, occasional Wi-Fi or hot water issues, and a few comments about photos not matching expectations or communication hiccups without an on-site front desk. Overall, expect a straightforward, self-serve base that works well for short stays before or after flights.

The owner is nice, and responsible, the house is clean, but just the Wifi dese not work well at most of time, I would like other travelers knowing that if you need to do computer work, you may consider a place close to big city. Also there is no shuttle to airport as advertising said. But it is very convenient to call a Uber. It tales about 12 minutes to airport in earlier morning, the cost is similar from Athens to airport.

Excellent modern, stylish and clean property near the airport. Everything easy to find. No issues with check-in instructions. Balcony was a nice addition. Bed was comfy and the property felt very secure. Would happily use again if in need of place to crash next to the airport. Easily accessible by public transport or taxi as required.

The instructions for accessing the apartment were excellent and included photos. The location is very close to a couple of restaurants which was perfect for our late arrival. We took advantage of the taxi service to and from the airport for €22 each way. The mattress was very soft. The only issue we had was with the wall-mounted air conditioner making a loud intermittent noise.

The room itself was really nice. It was pleasantly upgraded & the check in was SO easy. My only complaint is that the area was very noisy at night. If people walked by the room you could clearly hear their conversations. & any car that drove by, you’d also clearly hear inside. But for the price, it wasn’t bad. Location is far from Athens, but very close & convenient to the airport. Especially if you have an early morning flight.

The apartment was more spacious than I had imagined… the bed was comfortable …and as a tea drinker, I was happy to find an electric water kettle. I was also pleased to find an elevator in the building. Stairs are fine… but at my age, with 2 heavy pieces of luggage… stairs can be a challenge. The taxi that they recommend, and provide a link to in the check-in information, was on time at the airport, and the driver was courteous. Internet was fine. If you want to get the bus to the airport, a bus stop is no more than a 3 minute walk away… There’s 2 balconies off the living / dining area. There’s a small park and several places to find a coffee and something to eat nearby. I liked the property…

It might be a nice place … but - we never stayed there. It may look close to the airport, but unless you have a car (or taxi) it is complicated. Communication without internet is also difficult but it is required as there is no front desk so we needed door codes etc - and only after 12 noon. Transportation (at a fee) is Taxi service at 25€ (27€ after midnight) We took the Metro (from the port of Piraeus) to get there, but would have had to walk 1h15m dragging our luggage (no taxis at the metro) to get there and so in the end went straight to the airport. In the end, I contacted Avelink and cancelled, but too late for a refund. This is a place where I would say Buyer Beware!

I liked that the walls were thick and it made it quiet. Clean. I was able to get delicious food ordered and delivered. I wasn’t familiar with the area and it was getting darker when I arrived, so I didn’t really venture out, but the area looked good when I got outside the next morning. Getting all the information on What’s app was fairly smooth, but I had to work out some communication issues with one person. And it wasn’t just because of a language barrier. I was fortunate there was another person arriving who was familiar with the entrance process and helped me to find the entry code on the email sent to get in. Otherwise I would have just gotten back on WhatsApp and contacted someone again. I didn’t like having to drag my heavy suitcase up 2 flights of stairs. I have an injury and that was tough. But I was able to sleep many hours there which I needed to do. I would go back again and perhaps request a room closer to the front door.
