First day checkin ,My room had your lollipops on the floor, grease fingers on the table and the windows , I had to head back to the main floor to switch out rooms , the other room was fine tho , the pool had floating hairs all over the place, I’m guessing the filter system for the pool wasn’t working ? The Continental breakfast was mediocre . The hotel was set at a great location, near restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores and main highway.

The staff was great and check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was decent. We did have a used washcloth left in our room and our shower door did not stay closed and the staff knew about this problem and gave us the room anyway. The indoor pool was dirty and freezing but the rest of the grounds were clean and well lept.

In my 7 night stay the beds were made once and trash taken out twice. The bed linen smelled horrible, comforters were dirty at the edges. Room was not vacuumed, my kid ate peanuts and the shells sat there thru out my stay.

Another negative was breakfast: no yogurt - only whole milk or oat milk for cereals: cheerios (oat based), granola (oat based), fruit loops, & hot oatmeal. Spouse can’t eat oats, high fat dairy & sausage, so bagels & eggs, it was. Loved accessibility to I-90 yet no highway noise. Would stay again (but bring own yogurt & low-fat milk.)

The Fairfield by Marriott was one of the pricier hotel in the area. For the higher price I expected more. Most disappointing was the lack of cleanliness, in the room and the gym, quality of the breakfast, and the room seemed worn out. The one thing I did like was the carpet in the stairways and the wide berth of the stairs. The staff was okay but maybe fewer front staff and more cleaning people. The ones they did have were not pleasant.

Overall we had a great stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Batavia. Very clean staff was very friendly and it was close to Batavia Downs and the casino offered a free shuttle which ran until midnight.

Stairway full of cob webs needed vacuuming! Breakfast was extremely limited and looked unappetizing. The staff were not helpful nor concerned with the inconveniences caused by poor management of cleaning staff , propriety maintenance and lack of basic supplies ( no waffle mis, no eggs…)

The place looks good and staff is friendly but there were many problems and we wont be back. Most concerning was the loud noises above us from 12 am - 1am. Stomping, slamming doors, someone dropping heavy items. I called the front desk and was told she'd take care of it. But she was rude about it. Next, the beds were rock hard and very uncomfortable. Not enought towels or soap for our family. The pool is tiny and cold! Many ripped dangling curtains and old food in the pool area. When we came back from dinner out room cards didnt work and we had to get new ones. The whole stay seemed like the manager is trying to save money in areas but they lost ours now. The breakfast was good in the am and the place is clean and looks nice. But after the craziness above us in the night I was concerned for our safety and actually thought about calling the police. Crazy slamming around and stomping in the night is very strange on a sunday night! Anyway, not a good place.

Arthur at the front desk was super helpful, courteous and thoughtful to give us extra towels when we checked in. He explained all amenities and answered any questions we had. Appreciate his warm hospitality and friendly face, gave me the best first impression of the Hotel! The room was large, spacious, and very clean. The small details like the two low pieces of furniture to place your suitcase on. Loved the comfy arm chair and beds with an extra comforter already available in the closet. The bathroom was also large and with nice partition between sink and toilet and a huge bathtub with adequate lighting. It’s the little conveniences that were missing. There was no full length mirror in the room. We were dressing for a wedding so that was a disappointment. There was a card hanging with a request to reuse bath towels, or something like that, but there were no towel bars in the bathroom. No nightlight. The body wash container came off the wall in the shower. The toilet was constantly running and probably had a small leak since the grout on the floor around the toilet was wet. We were not wowed by anything at this facility.

Great place to stay. In my 30 years of travel I don't recall ever meeting a hotel GM. Alan was there working with guests on the key change going on and being in involved with the operations. This was obvious because his staff was very involved with the guests too.

I got charge 100$ “non refundable” bc I decide to make a decoration in the hotel… when I ask and ask why, the only answer I got was “our cleaning department charge you an extra feed for the balloons on the ceiling, because they needed to be scraped out the roof” I’m upset bc the charge me 3 times different amounts each times and 2 of them supposedly being refunded if not used I called to be notified there are not going to be refunded … I don’t think i will never comeback!

We arrived a bit after 4 p.m. check in was supposed to be at 3 p.m.. we were told they had a problem with cleaners calling out. They asked us to give them 20 minutes or so. We decided to go eat somewhere and were told they would call us when it was ready. 2 hrs later i called them to see if our room was ready to check in and i was told there was no room available. I informed them I was on my way back to hotel and someone was getting an ear full because I booked on hotels. Com and i was getting a room. When i arrived back at hotel at 7:30 pm the manager was there and said he needed to check a room ,cleaner was new . We were allowed in our room around 8pm.

I stayed at this property the last 4 nights as I attended the Kingdom Bound festival at Six Flags. I was impressed with the kindness of the staff, the great room and the close proximity to a number of stores and places to eat. It was super close to the highway and a quick drive to Six Flags. I would definitely stay here again

I was not happy with the breakfast staff. The person running the room didn't keep items stocked and it was only 8:30 am. The staff member only refilled the coffee when the urn was empty. They didn't keep an eye on things and many who came to have breakfast were disappointed as we were.

Simple notes: * It was exactly what I needed for a quick turn from a concert at Darien. * I checked in before, it was quick, easy and the right level of interaction - pleasant and helpful with light chatting but not too much * The room was standard which was perfect. Clean, nice layout and as comfy. * Breakfast was good. It had enough options for different moods or preferences. I don't recall seeing a fridge or microwave mentioned on the website but they were in the room which is probably good to know ahead if you want to plan on snacks since that opens up your options. Perfect for what I needed.

The front desk was good and the lady was lovely. They had no pillows for the pull out beds- told they are on order. Breakfast was a disaster- hardly any food, the guy wouldn’t make any oatmeal because it would take 30 min and breakfast was over in 40. No fruit left, no English muffins left - we were told the order doesn’t come in until later. Very unfortunate. Really no excuse for not getting the basics right.
