Great hotel. Would be nice if the hot tub was accessible without a spa reservation. Also at this level I would expect some breakfast. The $20 breakfast sandwich was good but not work $20 ($18 after tax and $2 tip)

This Hotel had multiple options for dining, The Kyndred Hearth restaurant was exceptional in service ambiance and particularly the food was fantastic. The theme for this property is Viking. The decor is very intriguing with subtle details. The property is crisp and clean. Absolutely will come again. The pool is below average, almost an afterthought really. But dining and cocktails are superb

We stayed for 9 days while visiting family, and it was superb! We were able to have our dog with us, and plenty of ability to walk her around the lakes behind the hotel. World class on site gym, and reasonably priced (HIGH QUALITY) restaurants on site also made it especially convenient! We did not have to chase down places to eat or a gym to work out at while away from home. And, everyone was professional, attentive and kind.

Very nice hotel, clean and comfy bed. Otherwise pay to play. Pool has no hot tub, sauna or steam room. I’m sure the spa does. Only one HBO channel. Pay for movies, Pay for internet. Reminded me of Vegas hotels. After the price of the room all the add ons to experience more, you’re halfway to buying a package trip elsewhere.

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is a high-quality well-built hotel. It is close to the airport, but you cannot hear of feel the airplanes flying over the hotel. My 1 complaint is that they almost force you to use their valet service. They do not want you parking by the entrance even if you're picking up other people from your group at the door due to winter storm conditions. They're very strict about this area being only the valet driven vehicles here. They also force their assistance with luggage. I like kindness and assistances, but it was agressive.

I got a room in what appeared to be low season so I feel I got very good value for what I paid for. The rooms and hotel are relatively new (was told 2020?) and are wonderfully decorated and proportioned. Overall, I felt like great value for money. One or two issues: 1) Even though the rooms are lovely--sized and decorated generously--the showers had surprisingly poor water pressure even though they have a rain/power option. May seem like a small thing but if you're trying to warm up after a freezing Minnesota day it is frustrating. 2) They have valet parking which is an extra fee per night. If you choose not to take it you have to park a surprising distance from the front door. Which again, in the summer is not an issue, but in -19 temperature, you kind of want to be near the door. Designed to make you choose valet perhaps? Finally, because there were not may guests the hotel staff while all lovely to talk to, were all a bit overstretched and were not as attentive. I found the food to be okay. Not great, not terrible. I'm pointing out the negatives because that is what I like to read in reviews, however, overall I found this to be a great value for a really nice hotel and I would stay there again for the price I paid. I'm sure it would be different in high season. (I didn't use the gym or pool facilities but they looked pretty nice.)

We had such a wonderful stay at the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, well-kept, and beautiful the entire property was. Every space felt safe, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was stunning and made it such a pleasant place to relax. As big Vikings fans, it was such a treat to be so close to the Vikings Performance Center and to see all the fun Vikings details throughout the hotel. It added such a special touch to our trip! The overall hospitality made our stay truly memorable. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

A stunning hotel—modern, clean, and comfortable. I had a great view of the Vikings’ practice field, the bed was cozy, and breakfast was delicious. Check-in staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. However, customer service and housekeeping left a bit to be desired. When my TV wouldn’t turn on my first night, the front desk told me maintenance would come the next day eventhough i explained to her I can’t sleep without the television—which meant little sleep for me. The next day was busy as i was in town for a wedding and out of the hotel for most of the day. When I returned to the hotel around 5 PM to change for the reception, I find that housekeeping hadn’t cleaned my room—it was exactly as I’d left it that morning. Assuming maintenance hadn’t come either, I called the front desk again. A maintenance worker eventually arrived, asked if I had tried the remote (which I had, the night before), then proceeded to turned on the TV. So i asked if he hadn’t notice that housekeeping had missed the room. When I asked what time he came by the room, he didn’t give a clear answer, only saying he’d let housekeeping know. Thankfully, by the time i returned from the wedding reception around midnight the room was finally cleaned and everything was in working order.

It was mostly nice other than the shower not draining. For an over $200 hotel room , to only be able to shower for a short period was disappointing. The stand up shower was overflowing after just a few minutes. I had to get out to prevent the entire bathroom from flooding. The bed was not super comfortable and the pillows were bad.

Really BAD hard water problem. Plan to stand in the bathroom for a lot of extra time washing whatever because soap does not come off. Other than that this is a really nice hotel. Hard water is a very annoying problem.

The Omni Viking Lakes Hotel was wonderful in almost every respect. We enjoyed our clean, quiet, comfortable room. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant, where both the food and service were fabulous. We took a nice evening walk around the little lake. The lobby and outdoor seating areas are relaxing and spacious. There were only two less than satisfactory aspects of our stay. First, you need to pay extra to get wireless access. This is a bummer in an age when even McDonal\'s has free wireless access. Second, the coffee at the Caribou Coffee bar was terrible; it tasked almost like water, even when we ordered the "bold." So, over 2 mornings, we spend $16 for 4 medium coffees and were bummed out to start our day lame coffee. The problem is not the brand of coffee; I like Caribou. So, the problem is in how they brew it - badly!

Nice property !! Love the fact we was next door to the Vikings Stadium, I actual seen a player or two ☺️ One thing I didn’t like about it in the room when we had things plug up lamp flick all night! We had to just unplug the lamp , not sure what was that all about but I just wanted to make sure we were safe!!

Disappointed in the hot tub not being able to use besides spa hours if I knew that would’ve stayed elsewhere. Also the Friday night front desk lady isnt professional and kind like the other staff. I’m guessing that’s why she is put on overnight shift.

The staff was very kind and caring! We had called the night before with an emergency that changed our plans initially. One of the staff working the night we checked in remembered us as he took our phone call and genuinely asked how we were doing. Not many people/places remember individual incidents because they deal with so many people. All of the staff were kind and helpful during our stay. That little bit of extra kindness goes along way and we will definitely stay here again!

We had a little hassle checking in, was told.they would charge $200 but they were trying to charge $600+. For the price if the hotel I was left less than impressed with the overall experience. We travel a lot in the summer and probably wont be giving the Omni a second try.

I liked everything! The staff are attentive and accommodating, such as when they went to get my vehicle during a snowstorm (and then cleared it off), they food/restaurant is exceptional, and the beds are comfortable. Amazing!

Totally enjoyed every moment at Viking Lake Omni ! We come every year for a Viking home game. That being said , to make the Viking game experience PERFECT , all the hotel needs is a shuttle to / from US Bank Stadium on game day !

This was our 1st time to Minnesota. Fabulous hotel - they had cornhole games outside, firepit, ping pong inside, pool, the rooms were great and overlooked the Vikings practice field! Food was delicious too!

All the staff are amazing and friendly and ready to do anything to make life easier while you’re there. The only downside for me was lack of gluten free options the one restaurant on second floor that had good amount of options per online menu was closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and of course we stayed Tuesday-Thursday. The coffee shop has amazing coffee just like going to a caribou coffee

Love this hotel! Beautiful lobby and spacious modern rooms. Beds are very comfy. Gym is really nice with new equipment. Trail around the lake is so nice to walk around. Dining is amazing - especially Kindred Hearth…the pizza is amazing!! Embed and Ice is such a cool sexy bar to have some drinks at. Everything is gorgeous!
