avid hotel Boston Logan Airport - Revere by IHG

Had to wait almost 2 hours for airport shuttle. might have been due to some miscommunication between the staff and the driver. Given my last night flight, this severely impacted my next day schedule. Will sugegst you call front desk regularly instead of waiting for the recommended 25 mins. Rooms were quite cramped, but very clean & convenient. Breakfast had good variety.

Breakfast was better than Motel 6 but still not considered fresh. Shuttle was a nightmare. Had to dig deep to find shuttle hour with no instructions or number to call. Called the number on the web page and got an AI voice who sent me the the wrong hotel.

We were not aware when looking on the website that there was a $15 parking fee per night. You self park in the front so I really don’t know what you are paying for.

This hotel is clean and offers efficient service. I love the all day, coffee and tea available in the lobby. The staff, and in particular the shuttle drivers, were exceptionally helpful.

Good distance from airport but the free shuttle was fantastic. It operated until midnight. Breakfast offered an array of food that was plenty of options for us

Since it’s located close to an international airport, it would be very nice if they offered shuttle services after midnight.

The hotel is located on a very busy street with hight speeding cars, which i didn’t like. The staff was great. The room smelled like clean when we got in which is good. The gym was good. The breakfast was included but was no great at all. I was disappointed.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. I loved that this hotel had laundry facilities.

4 seniors flew into Boston called the hotel for the shuttle and they said approx 25-40 min could be more in case of traffic. So we waited patiently. Driver shows up in about 35 minutes gets out and tells us he only has room for 3. One of us would need to wait another 40 minutes for him to come back!!! Took a Lyft instead. I travel all over and this is unacceptable. They knew how many pick ups and they have two shuttles.

Quick shuttle to the AP. To be picked up by the shuttle for Delta Terminal A, you have to be upstairs at departures A023 doors. Rooms clean, views of the beach marshes (birds), showers nice, Dove soap, walk to the beach and AC cold. Revere is a beach town and thickly settled so lots of cars and traffic, but there are sidewalks to get around. avid packs a simple breakfast for early am shuttle departures which is very nice. You can cast to their TVs from your phone. Beautiful seafaring Catholic Church close by for Sunday services. Revere is a multi-cultural enclave and rich with different languages from Portuguese, Italian, Spanish and English dancing about in the air.

There were several bugs. I was woken to several in the bed biting me at 3:00 am and immediately left the property.

Bathroom must not have had a pea trap. Bathroom smelled like sewage and wafted into the room if door was open.

By far the cleanest hotel in that price range.

Hotel was very clean

I asked for a wake-up call for 4:30 AM that came through at 3:30 AM, which woke me up from a deep sleep. When I asked for it to be re-booked, the front desk said they would do that but didn’t. If I hadn’t had my own back-up alarm, I would have missed my flight. The common areas weren’t especially clean - perhaps from setting dirty throughout the day - and the seal on the door to my room needed repair. Otherwise, it was fine; check-in was efficient and the room itself was clean enough.

The hotel was very clean and new with an excellent staff

We love how clean the rooms are, and the Dove soaps and lotions. But our favorite experience was the airport shuttle driver. He cheerfully picked us up right on time and helped everyone get settled. We had a crying baby on board, and he immediately turned on a beautiful, soft lullaby as we took off from the hotel. The baby went right to sleep! And ten passengers left the van with a smile on their faces at 5AM. Sweet!

Clean rooms and lobby, friendly staff. The area around the hotel is a little rough, but it’s a quick drive to the airport with free parking and breakfast. I’d stay here again.

The room was clean but the walls were paper-thin and you could hear lots of noise from other rooms. There were very few amenities in the room but the staff is what stood out. They were both excellent and extremely helpful - from getting us rooms side by side with our friends to a recommendation for a delivery to the hotel for dinner. Both ladies were great!

The only issue was how loud it was, both with traffic outside in the morning starting at 6am & inside where it appeared the cleaning crew started working in the rooms above & next to us around 7am.

Everything was great except for an issue with the hot water while we stayed there. The shower water was really cold. Perhaps a water heater was broken or something. It did not improve by the next day. I love their coffee maker downstairs that grinds the beans and then brews. The ready hot water was great as well for the tea they offer. The hotel shuttle was very convenient with kind and friendly service.

Poor soudproofing. You can hear what other people are saying in the room around you.

Had an early flight from Logan. Hotel was nice and close to the airport. Bed and room was comfortable. TV didn't work and the phone mysteriously rang at 3 and 3:30am.

Only problem we had was hearing the people above us talking. The walls must not be insulated that well. The people above were up all night. The beds & bedding were very, very comfortable. The bathroom amenities were top notch. Room was very clean, and updated.

The hotel is conveniently located near Logan airport. It was very clean and modern. The price is reasonable as well. My only complaint would be the very thin walls. I was waken up to by the housekeeper cleaning the room next door to me.

It was clean and staff were very polite. Room could be bigger as it is too small.

The staff was nice. The a/c did not work and i think the room next to me were on their honeymoon

I wish I can score from my initial check in with a fantastic Hispanic female that was the great representation of true customer service. Unfortunately, past her the various other employees manning the front desk are not approachable. I pray Avid mgmt can really offer them heir employees customer service training and how to properly interact in hospitality . The 3 various employees (Indian looking man with glasses , European accent young female , to the worst one yet was employee name Emmanuella - skinny employee with blonde box braids ) just really need proper training. Emmanuella was argumentative , took a picture of my license in her personal cell phone , I asked to speak to her manager , she said manager was not available. Basic example , when a customer approaches desk , the salutation should be imitated by employee …you are there to work . Front Desk demands interaction with customer. Is mind boggling but my review will speak for itself when future patrons see what I saw. Overall hotel is pretty nice , the to go Breakfast if very decent , and housekeeping staff are very nice and helpful with needs. Is the front desk that is something else . I hope staff improve but the first person to check us in was phenomenal and super helpful ! The easy parking , laundry machines on each floor, available market store inside , and complimentary tea /coffee/ ice is something to greatly appreciate Avid , offering!!! Thank you for that!! Drawbacks no microwave inside room.

Clean room and great staff.

We had a bunch of deliveries made to the facility prior to our arrival. Staff handled it perfectly. They were so kind and friendly.

I stayed here before leaving on an early morning flight. The location was convenient to the airport. The room was clean and staff friendly. No complaints.

Overall I had an ok stay. The only irritating thing was I was told that the airport shuttle was at the top of the hour. When I arrived at the airport and called to reserve the shuttle I was told it would be another 45 mins. I had to pay for an uber instead. The only reason I chose this hotel was for the shuttle. Will stay somewhere else next time.

We missed a flight and had to book last-minute. Katherine at the front desk was AMAZING! You have a true gem in her! We had a terrible day and were so appreciative of her help and guidance! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

The shuttle takes a very long time for a pick up at the airport when you land. We waited 45-50 minutes for it to arrive. When we called the front desk to ask for an extra towel around 10 PM they told us that we had to go downstairs and get it from them ourselves. Breakfast was OK premade sandwiches that you were able to take to go, fruit, yogurt, and cereal options.

Ver convenient to airport and downtown Boston.

The property was great. It was clean and staff was friendly. The surrounding area did not have too many restaurants and was not walkable to anything, including transportation. The road was very busy getting in and out.

Convenient to the airport by shuttle. Clean, comfortable with a decent breakfast.

There are no places to eat nearby and there was a lot of highway noise. The Hotel is nice though.

Good location near the airport with a shuttle service (you do need to call them). Walkable to the Revere beach, and when crossing the busy highway some grocery stores there too. Boston rail transport also walkable.

Staff was very nice and the shuttle was very convenient. The continental breakfast was your usual fare but clean. The hotel is newish but very basic. The room was small but clean. The area is not great, very congested and lots of crazy drivers.

Free airport shuttle!!! Was a huge help getting to and from Logan airport. Runs every 30 minutes. Beds are super comfortable. Room and facilities are very clean. Free continental breakfast is average but a really nice perk.

the breakfast selection could use more selections. because they are new... they didnt have some doors working. i couldnt find a microwave in my room... i thought there was supposed to be one

The hotel was clean and modern, and the staff were very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, allowing me to start my morning in a great mood.

Great breakfast- kids loved it!

It is a great hotel to stay in. The breakfast spread was vegan friendly which is something we struggle with when we travel. We travel a lot and stay at a lot of hotels and would rate this one as a good one. The rooms are a little smaller compare to other hotels but that is alright. The staff is considerable. Thank you.

Check in and check out was easy. Staff was friendly. Our room and all common areas were exceptionally clean. The Breakfast buffet had lots of options including hot breakfast sandwiches or wraps. 24 hour fresh coffee, water or sparkling flavored water dispenser. Close to Logan Airport and the T terminal. They offer shuttle service but we didn’t need it.

Breakfast was pretty bad but everything else was great.

Paying for parking is unnecessary and should not be extra when you have a room. Breakfast was great!! Great room service. Rode noise on that side of hotel was significant.
