The room we had was clean and pretty nice. Stuff really friendly. There is a pretty good Safeway store just around the corner what is nice. Surprisingly not so great is the general location, homeless people lying in the street. Views are just into the parking lot. Small parking lot. You don’t feel super safe but also not terrible. Small things that are a bit anytime are the poor wifi in our room, a locked down tv (no streaming), clocked bathroom sink. And a toilet seat mounted on a modern toilet not fitting the dimensions. Looked like a cheap fix. Good for just one night. I would not want to stay multiple nights there.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It is remodeled, clean, close to the beach and plenty of towels. However, we went to check in after 3pm and the room was not ready. They had previously asked when we were checking in so I told them. When we got there I could see housekeeping sitting in our room eating! The guy said it wasn’t ready yet and said they weren’t done with their lunch hour. Seriously?! Checkin is 3pm and I confirmed what time we would arrive. We had to sit in the car until our room was ready at 3:40. Parking is cramped for any car and street parking was full. We couldn’t fall asleep cuz the people up stairs just kept walking back and forth and it was so loud with flooring. I started sending a message to the hotel through the app at midnight and then we could hear the same people fighting upstairs too. Also if you get the king suite the shower is all glass with no doors for privacy in the corner of the room! You can see everything… maybe that’s great for a couple but that I wasn’t traveling with a spouse. It definitely had its pluses and minuses.

I suggest you stay elsewhere. I was given a tiny room facing the street. The bed occupied a huge part of the total room square feet The toilet seat was broken, the bathroom light was on some sort of motion detection system that could not be shut off (light stayed on for a long time - lighting up the entire room at night), the bed was very very soft, the air conditioning was loud and made the room either too hot or too cold. I was extremely disappointed.

For a beach town, these accommodations are great! The rooms are very clean and recently remodeled. There was off-street parking. The motel is walking distance from the beach, restaurants, the pier…
