Stayed 1 night

We booked 3 rooms for a family of 6, for a special occasion. Our rate clearly included breakfast, an F&B credit, and a special 15% discount. Despite showing the hotel our booking confirmation, they simply refused to honor the package. I spent hours contacting Hotels.com and speaking with the hotel, yet the response was essentially a flat “NO,” with no meaningful investigation or attempt to resolve the issue. I was even promised a call from the duty manager on the night of the 4th Aug, the call never came. The following day at checkout, I asked to whom I could send a formal complaint. A manager approached and asked me to email my voucher. I asked if he knew what the issue was, and he said yes. What was disappointing was that despite already knowing the concern, he made no effort to actually speak with me, investigate, or resolve it. This was not about the monetary value of the benefits. It was about honoring what was booked and, more importantly, how a hotel treats its guests when something goes wrong. We chose this hotel because we had enjoyed the service at Sobe the night before, which encouraged us to book our stay here. Unfortunately, had we known how this situation would be handled, we would have stayed somewhere else. Mistakes happen. What defines hospitality is how you take ownership and resolve them. Unfortunately, we experienced no ownership, empathy, or accountability. For a special family occasion, this was an extremely disappointing experience.
