Stayed 1 night

I had stayed here before and it was perfect! This time not as great as my previous stay, but also not terrible. I called hotel to see what the earliest time I could check in was and the woman said 2 PM. So I arrived at that time but ended up waiting 2 hours in the lobby to check in at 4. I was told my room type takes longer to clean. Last time I stayed here I was given multiple vouchers for discounts on food/drink for the lobby restaurant. This time I had to ask the front desk staff and was told they ran out but he would give me one since I had to wait (although two of us were staying in the room). The pool was closed due to an event going on, which I would’ve been more upset about if the weather had been nice. One of the main reasons I actually chose the hotel was the pool. The room was nice and clean no complaints there and I did receive the voucher discount for valet parking due to my hotels.com status ( it’s expensive!) The hotel is walking distance to a lot of things and they do offer to store your luggage. Be aware that late checkout is available, but isn’t cheap.

Stayed 2 nights

When we arrived, we were surprised to find an incredibly tiny room, the sink was full of old, dirty water, there was hair in random places all over the bathroom, the refrigerator didn’t work, and the water in the shower was cold. The staff was helpful, however, and fixed the sink and the refrigerator promptly. The valet staff was kind and helpful as well. We ate at the small restaurant on site and, while there weren’t very many options, especially for kids, the food was good (albeit $$$) and our server was very nice. My husband and I went and had a drink on the rooftop and the cost for one Modelo and one IPA was $30. If given the opportunity would I stay here again? No.

We feel all good except for the waiter at breakfast bar: He took the coupon after we placed our order and asked us to pay after the meal without informing us of the actual bill.
