Perfect location and a nice warm welcome on check in. Reasonably priced valet parking compared to others I’d seen. Room was very clean and bed comfy but decor and common areas were quite tired. We stayed in 219 which overlooked a service alley that was quite noisy at times through the night. Ideal for a night or so if you want to be near the beach.

The hotel is really old and the pictures online were deceiving to say the least. When we first got there, we were able to check in an hour early, which was nice but when we opened our room door, maintenance was in there so that was an awkward encounter when we thought it was ready to go. We were also right off the street so we heard all noise throughout the day/night, that came from the street. Above us, there had to have been some kids or something but we heard them the whole time running around constantly as well. The walls were paper thin because every time a worker would be in the hallway, or a person staying there, we can literally hear them. There weren't any extra towels or blankets or pillows in the room even though they knew it was for 3 people and we had a futon in the room, you'd think there would be extras but no. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows were paper thin. The water pressure is almost zero, and there is no counter space in the bathroom. The valet cost is wild considering you HAVE to use it otherwise where else will you park? That should be included in your daily cost - we paid nearly $1000 for an extremely old hotel that had zero amenities. No breakfast was included, they don't have laundry service, or even a laundry on site for us to wash our wet rainy clothes. I'm only giving it one star due to proximity to the beach as well as the front desk staff was nice. I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it, to be honest.
