Very convenient for medical appts at UCLA med center. They provide a shuttle around campus & med center. Bed could have been a bit softer.

Walkable to UCLA hospital. Mt first grandson arrived. Excellent food and bar. Beautiful environment. Be prepared to pay parking!!!

Great place to stay if you attend a conference or have some business at the UCLA campus. Good restaurant and bar (refuses tips). Love the art that is on display all through the hotel. You might miss a pool or whirlpool tub. Rooms were large and well kept.

The front office staff was very friendly and super helpful. The hotel is beautiful and has excellent food. However, the gym facilities are basic, and there's no pool at the hotel.

I like this property because it’s adjacent to UCLA so it’s a convenient. The staff is nice everything’s clean. Just wish they had a pool.

Great location and excellent ambience. Quick and easy checkin. There is no pool and the gym is relatively small but the walkability is great. I wish there was water dispensers throughout the hotel.

Bright, open lobby area that serves as a comfortable living room for guests and UCLA students. Smooth and welcoming check-in. The front desk crew was excellent day after day. When staff at the nearby medical center were trying to reach me late in the evening, I missed the call to my room. But desk staff came and knocked on my door and then walked with me to the medical center. Above and beyond service and looking out for their guests! My room was comfortable and well-serviced each day. The selection of toiletries is top quality and without synthetic additives. The metal refillable water bottles were a fantastic alternative to plastic. The hotel restaurant was a bit uneven and didn’t quite live up to expectations. The art on the first two levels is noteworthy! The location on the UCLA campus is brilliant —it provides a beautiful and safe walking area and easy access to stores like Whole Foods. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to LA. I usually stay at AKA W. Hollywood, but I have found a new favorite.

It was very pretty and modern, quiet and peaceful given the size. Our shower head was pretty gross, and could have definetly used a cleaning. There were small things like handles and the remote that made it seem like the details of cleaning weren't paid attention to.

Love the large lobby area with great restaurant inside. Also very safe and convenient to school and hospital. But the room is VERY. The house keepers are only dusting the main area. Not very detailed. Room looks clean but quite dusty. Managers should check sometimes.

I was in LA for three days of meetings and stayed at Luskin. The staff was great and the facility is superb. The room was clean and contemporary. I will definitely stay there again.

the room was great and very clean. only complaint was a noise that wouldn't stop which sounded like a pipe howl. it drove me crazy. probably not audible from all rooms but I was on the 4th floor.

Stayed here for the LA marathon, close to the race finish line, easy to get to. Convenient parking with fee, very clean, and the restaurant was great. Only thing we missed here was an in room fridge.

Great hotel! The only issues was a noise clicking in the bathroom and the full light motion sensor going on in the middle of the night when entering the bathroom. Other than that, it was all positive!

Very clean and quiet. Felt very safe. The only drawback was there was no refrigerator in the room.

Rooms are smaller than dorm room. When I asked fur upgrade, they offered me another slightly larger room for 10 times the price which I didn’t take

Yes, the staff was great and the room was clean. The walls in the room are thin and we could hear the TV when it was on in the room next door.

Mirian, from the front desk was amazing. She helped us with every aspect of our stay. Personable and just lovely! Michael, was an exceptional as well. Michael floated around the lobby and answered all p of our questions and assisted getting us to ULA surgery appointments over the next three days. Michael was a happy, extrodinary man!

The hotel was close to where I needed to be. There was a shuttle that took me there and from the medical center. The staff was amazing! Friendly, helpful. I would stay there again if I need to. I would highly recommend.

Late check in because our room wasn't ready at 4:45pm. We were told late check out was an option but when the time came, it was not available due to being so busy, so we had to rush and remove our belongings from our room unexpectedly. We requested a rollaway bed and were told they would check and call us if one would be available for our room, they never called so we called only to be told it would not fit in our room. A friend was staying at the same hotel per her suggestion. She checked in after us, her room was not ready, and she was upgraded to a suite. Very friendly and informative staff, professional and welcoming. For us it was inconvenient at times and somewhat disappointing.

The rooms were fabulous, but it is the staff (checkin, housekeeping, parking attendant, everyone we came into contact with) that made the experience exceptional - warm, friendly, accommodating. The hotel has a lovely restaurant/bar as well, I highly recommend. It was the perfect place to stay for our visit to UCLA!

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. We’ve always had a great stay with the staff and services. However, I’m not sure if they have a new staff or what has happened. But, the front desk gave no help when we asked some questions about sightseeing around the area. They literally looked at us and said we don’t really know. Then the manager who was seating guests in the restaurant was very rude to multiple people just asking for a table. It was obvious he didn’t want to be working. If this was our first visit, we would not have returned. The hotel is located in a great area, in the middle of the UCLA campus on the border of Beverly Hills with many shops and restaurants.

Excellent location, property and staff! Our room was clean and nicely appointed. We ate breakfast in the restaurant all 3 days of our stay. The service was efficient and food was tasty. The valets are superb, so kind and helpful. Milton made an excellent first impression when we arrived. He made us feel welcome and like valued guests which is pretty uncommon these days.

I recently stayed at the Luskin Hotel and wanted to share my experience. I appreciated the hotel’s cleanliness and its convenient location on campus, which made my stay enjoyable in many ways. The onsite parking is easy and convenient although a bit pricey. The layout, cleanliness, and overall environment are excellent and very well maintained. I appreciated the effort put into creating a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing space. However, I had a disappointing experience at Plateia. The food I received at dinner was undercooked and lacked flavor. In addition, several staff members seemed visibly annoyed by guests and appeared overwhelmed, which made dining uncomfortable. Even if staff are stressed or busy, it is unprofessional to be so conspicuous about it in front of guests or for it to be projected in a way that alters the level of service. This behavior takes away from the guest experience and does not reflect well on the hotel’s brand. They should either get more staff for peak service hours or provide training to help staff manage busy periods with grace and professionalism. Overall gorgeous space, but the staff’s demeanor and training don’t seem aligned with the level of service expected at this class of hotel, so it undermined the whole experience. If they can level up on the service front they would exemplify a five star experience.

The location is most important for my visits to the UCLA Medical Center

The hotel is located at the center of UCLA campus. It's convenient for driving to many places, including Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Getty Center, and downtown LA. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It's on campus and very safe to walk around at night, with walking distance to Westwood Village, which has a lot of restaurants and shops. Overall, we are very satisfied with the hotel.

Great location if your child is attending UCLA or visiting Reagan Medical Center.

Clean rooms and efficient check in. On site restaurant was excellent. Free drink coupons were an extra bonus.

Wonderful hotel with a beautiful outdoor eating area among mature olive trees. And the food was extraordinary. I am a lover of good, unpretentious cooking and this place delivered. Ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in their restaurant and every meal was outstanding. The design of the hotel is modern and clean. Everywhere you go feels very spacious. The rooms are lovely and quiet. On warm days the lobby nearly entirely opens to the front of the hotel, partly into the outdoor restaurant seating area. Extraordinary.

The hotel is comfortable and well maintained. It’s got a great team a friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable. Overall a great stay. The restaurant could use some improvements. The food was ok but not great. They mysteriously close at 10AM on weekends which means there is no late breakfast or brunch. Something most hotels offer, especially on weekends. In the summer there are very few food choices on campus so this creates a hassle for guests.

This is a beautiful hotel bustling with activity from the university. The restaurant is full of olive trees and feels like a Mediterranean paradise!

In the morning, they have coffee for guests at the bar near the restaurant. The problem is that the restaurant, and the coffee, are not available until 7:30am. Also, if you are hungry between 10am-11am, you are out of luck. The kitchen is closed. These are odd misses given the number of conferences that take place here. Otherwise the rooms are nice and comfortable and the service, aside from limited availability, is great.
