We loved the pool and the beach. The staff was excellent. It was hard to find a free Cabana and chairs and we felt like we had to rush out to reserve seats first thing in the morning which was not relaxing. The only other complaints are that the was NO pool bathroom and you had to walk inside the hotel. But we absolutely loved our vacation and the room was clean, comfortable bed and nice balcony.

Food is good at the Mexican and Asian Restaurants and room service food is good. The poolside restaurant is horrible and the buffets restaurant not good. Place needs to be renovated, the floors are cracked and the furniture is dated. The elevators take forever and one is broken. Out Jr suit was very comfortable. The shower and jetted tub were great.

Property and room were a little outdated but nice. Apparently there will be renovations soon. There was unfortunately a sewage like smell coming from our bathroom, along with water/electricity issues but this might have been out of the resorts control. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Food from the buffet called Spice acceptable/unremarkable. The other restaurants were much better.

We stayed 7 nights at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun. The beaches were beautiful, well kept and maintained. I’ve stayed at other resorts and the pool area wasn’t quite as large, but neither was the resort, and the area was more than enough for the number of guests. The staff was always friendly. We were leery of the all-inclusive buffet restaurant at first, because it wasn’t as large as other resorts such as Riu or Sandals. We found the smaller area more personal and the quality of food much better. They had your typical custom made to order options such as omelets, stir fry, Italian pasta, BBQ, steaks, etc. There was hardly ever a wait for them to cook those items in front of you. The resort amenities were everything that you could ask for and more. This was our first time staying at a Hyatt that was all-inclusive, and we were very impressed. With the resort centrally located, taxis were easily accessible with only a 2-3 minute wait at any given time. The Welcome Ambassador / Concierge ladies were top notch. Ingrid, Ana and Jocelyn were always accessible and kept us in the loop with all the daily activities that were taking place at the resort. We booked our excursions through Cancun Adventures, which has an office inside the resort. The pricing was more than fair compared to searching elsewhere outside of the resort. The sunset on the Bay side was breath taking. I’d highly recommend the resort, and we will definitely be back to this location in Cancun and exploring other Hyatts.

We have been coming to the Hyatt Zilara for years; this was our 12th stay. The staff and food were perfection! Everyone has a great attitude. We always book a swim-up suite room. We take these short vacations due to both of us overcoming health issues, which daily swimming helps. Vacations are expensive and push our budgets, but the health benefits are intense and needed. This was the first time we had a bad experience. Unlike all 11 previous visits, the bed was very hard; the pillows were extremely heavy, and the room temperature was hot. Staff tried to fix the AC to no avail. Staff tried to make the bed softer by adding a duvet to the mattress, but it didn't work well. I've never dealt with pillows that were so heavy they were hard to lift or flip. Our wrists hurt now after the vacation. It's such an odd hotel room issue - but awful. Our room temperature at night was never below 76 degrees F - very uncomfortable. Our pool access area was at the very end of the swim-up suites. Unlike all previous trips, the pool was filthy the first two days. The staff took note and started to clean it. It was so bad we'd have to step through piles of floating hair and debris to enter the pool. The slime attached to the lounge chairs in the pool floated 2-3 inches as it floated in the pool. After a few days, staff cleaned the pool to perfection. I hope the issues were isolated to Room 101. We will return; the staff tried to fix the issues - but we returned home unrested and hurting.

Property is getting a remodel April -Dec 2025 so not sure if they’ll keep the name. Staff very helpful, except the gut at the reception desk that couldn’t move our room

Our stay at the Hyatt was absolutely perfect! There are so many positive things to say about this place, but let me start by talking about the food. It was not only delicious but beautifully presented with a variety of options to satisfy any palate. The resort offers several fantastic restaurants, and we especially enjoyed dining at the outdoor restaurant, where we could take in stunning views of the water while enjoying our meal. Every room at the Hyatt faces the water, and we were treated to a spacious room with a large balcony. The linens were soft, and the shower amenities were of excellent quality, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. The staff truly made our experience stand out. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite, always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We also appreciated the fact that the resort is an adult-only retreat. While we both love children, having a peaceful, quieter atmosphere was exactly what we wanted. It was wonderfully relaxing. That said, if you're looking for more lively activities, there’s plenty to enjoy! The resort offers fun events like foam parties, trivia, and "name that tune" games for those who want a bit more excitement. In the evenings, there’s entertainment, but we personally loved just unwinding at the beach and savoring the delicious food at the restaurants. All in all, this resort exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We highly recommend it!

Love everything about this hotel. The service is always excellent, the food and drinks are mostly top notch. Rose, the concierge went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. What can I say… Hyatt Zilara has been our home away from home. It’s such an incredible place! The food, the rooms, the beach, the entertainment but most importantly it’s the staff that keeps us coming back. What a terrific group of individuals that meet you everyday with a smile and go above and beyond the take care of our every want or need. This years trip was no exception. The trip started off with a Paola who worked on getting us checked in. She was able to help us and made the process easy. The beach waiters and concierge not only served us but many have become our friends over the years. David, Javier, Sergio, Eduardo, Orlando and Luis. Amazing people who looked out for us wherever they were stationed that particular day. Ivan the bartender at Marie Marie is completely wonderful and we would stop by that bar even when eating at other restaurants he makes the best cocktails. Carlos did an amazing job at Asiana I know Zilara is getting a remodel and we are looking forward to the upgrades but I truly hope that all of these great employees will be able to be there when the resort opens back up in December. The amenities at Zilara is only half of why we come year after year. It is truly the wonderful staff.

The staff here was UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING!! I travel a lot and I’ve never had such genuine, attentive service in my life. Saul was especially kind at our check in and check out. The rooms were clean and all face the ocean! There was fun entertainment every night and the food was delicious! We will be back next year!

The Hotel Zilara is a 10 of 10. The hotel is immaculate, beautiful, luxurious and located on the most stunning stretch of fine white sand beach you can imagine. It’s an easy walk to high end shopping, the clubs and all things Cancún. The hotel’s restaurants offered ample variety and the food was outstanding at each. My favorites include: the Thai soup, the curry chicken gyro and lobster pizza. The pools were gorgeous. The swim-up bar was very cool. The drinks were tasty, easy to get and made with top shelf liquors. The cabanas are worth every cent - especially for the foam party. Sophie, the activities lady, arranged a spectacular private yacht for a personalized snorkeling outing that was pure perfection. She, like the rest of the Zilara team, take service to the next level. The care and attention they pay to each detail is incredible and very much appreciated. Michelle, the entertainment lady (and her team), found a way to make everyone have a blast. I loved the volleyball in the pool and the other pool games. Last night’s white party - complete with acrobats and lobster tails - was really awesome. The massage I got from Yanira was the best message I’ve ever had - and I’ve had my fair share of spa days. In short, I stayed 7 days, swam, danced, ate, drank and made so many friends that I cannot wait to return. Thank you for making my friend’s birthday week an unforgettable celebration. These are memories we will carry with us always.

5回目のカンクンですが、以前より従業員の方が気持ちよく働いているように感じました。最初の2日間は高温とお天気のためかプールの温度が温泉のように高かったですが、シャワーが何回かあってよくなりました。はっきりしませんでしたが、６日間のうち２日、誰かが嘔吐したとかかの理由でプールが半分途中から使用不能となり、職員が粉をまいていましたが、もう少しスマートで安全に感じる方法はないのかと思いました。ネットでタクシーに乗る際にペソが必要ということで空港でペソに両替しましたが、全く必要なく、チップもドルのほうが喜ばれているようでした。空港からのタクシーは呼び込みが激しく(みなofficialといっていて）、交渉で５０ドルにしましたが、ホテルのコンシェルジェに言わせると唯一の問題点で、５０ドルはいいほうということでした。帰りは５：３０にもかかわらず、３分できて値段も一律４５ドルということでした。ウォシュレットがあればよかったと思います。

The Hyatt Zilara was overall a great experience. It was clean, the food was good, and the pool and entertainment/ activities were great. The cabanas were very overpriced for their size in my opinion but what can you do. The restaurant options are very limited. Asiana was my favorite. I wish they had an Italian option though. 8/10 would stay there again.

I visited the resort twice and the quality of the food seemed to have changed. The buffet food was good, but the food at other restaurants was terrible. Especially the food at Asiana was not good. The hotel staff were still friendly, but the quality of the nightly shows was much lower than when I visited in 2018.

The views are incredible and the property, pools, and the beach are outstanding. The staff was extremely accommodating. Unfortunately, food and drinks are a different story.
