We stayed with 2 little kids and we absolutely enjoyed this all-inclusive resort. We all loved the variety of the food options and the food was actually good. The pool was a daily hang up for my family and the kids club was a convenient way for us to get a break from the kids. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment and being walking distance to a mall. The beach water was choppy but when we finally got the ok to get in the water, it was so nice and the kids absolutely loved it. The facility could use some upgrades, as any hotel this age would need, but for the most part, we would stay here again.

Within minutes of arriving at our room, we realized that the hotel was in need for renovation...namely, the bathroom room got locked from behind, phones did not work, and the general condition of the room seemed like it was patched together. Not to mention the noise from the music when we sat on the balcony to enjoy the ocean view. Finally the water slide was a little one..Good for 2/3 year olds.. Upon talking to the staff, we were told that the hotel is scheduled for a major renovation which is not mentioned anywhere on the expedita site at all, which is quite misleading especially of charging $550 USD/night.

Good choice of cuisine, buffet breakfast good. Wait for some restaurants 2hrs. Resorts have to STOP allowing towels to hold pool chairs. So many guests unable to sit around the pool, over half chairs never used but saved all day.

This is the best resort I’ve stayed at in Cancun! The beds were really comfortable. The food was actually good! My kids loved the room service app and ordered soooo much room service. The pool facilities are kind of small and could use some rehab, but there was a crew out there cleaning it every single morning. The rooftop has two pools and two hot tubs, a full bar, and a grill where you can get something to eat. It’s a lovely spot to spend the day or night. It’s a smaller resort, but because it is small the staff quickly learned our preferences. My favorite staff member was Ernesto, who brought me mimosas at breakfast because he knew I liked them! I will absolutely stay here again!

Beach Palace needs some updating(plumbing taps etc) and more facilities for the younger aged. The sports bar with the pool tables and dart games was very small in size and at 10 pm. was closed off to adults so the older teens had nothing to do.Front lobby entry had very limited space to sit ; thru out the whole resort there wasn't a family friendly area to sit( other than restaurants to eat) and play board games/cards.The beach area was smaller than what I am used to and with a large family , very hard to get loungers. The beach volleyball area took up a lot of loungers and right in the middle of the small beach area..frustrating when the volleyball smacks the loungers and sunbathers. The plus was that the staff are all helpful happy people and very patient with younger kids in the restaurants.

The pros: Good food, and I liked that they were very careful about our dietary needs and accommodating. The staff was courteous, the oceanfront location was good with plenty of beach chairs. The sports bar has 2 pool tables and a ping pong table, which are good if you want a break from the sun or in the event of rainy days. The cons: small resort, limited entertainment, games, and dining options.

We recently stayed 5 days and 4 nights and overall the resort was very nice. We enjoyed the pool area a couple of days, which was not very crowded. The beach was ok. We ate at each of the restaurants and the staff throughout the resort was great. Our favorite restaurant Tavola and we ate there twice. We went to the sports bar a few nights and enjoyed the atmosphere and live entertainment. The downside...we did not enjoy the buffet food (room service was better) and there weren't many options/activities for our teens. Also, the vacant resort right next door was a serious eyesore.

Amazing customer service. The food was great, the shows were really good. There is a lot of activities to do here that are family friendly. Including a kids club and water slide. The beach was beautiful and would highly recommend this resort.

This place is BAD. No idea how they're still getting away with calling this place a 4-5 star. It's a hotel, not a resort. Staff is amazing, everything else sucks. I feel duped. Everything is run down, dirty and broken, no where to hang out inside, pool and "hot tubs" (they're slightly warm) are moldy and have sharp edges and missing tiles all over the place, everything in the room was broken and falling apart. The resort is attached to a big abandoned resort that's covered in graffiti and has massive chunks of concrete falling off onto this hotel. Often a 10 minute wait for an elevator. No real stair options. Anyone closing a door on the entire floor all night causes your whole room to shake so no one slept. We paid extra to take an earlier flight home because it sucked so badly.

Biggest scam I’ve ever experienced. The hotel is nothing like what is posted, it is completely run down and surrounded by abandoned and graffitied resorts! Terrible quality, dirty pools! Unsafe pool conditions, many people were falling and hurting themselves around the pool area! My son fell and bruised his face and hips, and came back limping! Absolutely ridiculous! The ac in the rooms had mold on them, the bedding and robes were stained! They only have 4 small elevators, always packed , running slow, which made going up and down totally inconvenient. This is a total scam! Nothing like the pictures on line which are nearly 20 years old!!!

The room we stayed at, the floor was very dirty and there was urine on the toilet and floor. We called customer service and they sent someone to clean it, it still smelled like urine even after being “cleaned”. Nobody came to clean our room the following day, we called customer service who said someone was coming right away and they never did. The next day I downloaded the palace app and requested room cleaning and still no one came. My husband went to the manager to complain and was told someone would come to clean it. Earlier that day we ordered room service for breakfast, we spent the day at the pool and returned later that day to get ready for dinner and only to see that still no one came for the second day. I called customer service again, After we returned from dinner we saw the room had finally been cleaned. Also upon arrival we were greeted by a customer representative who offered to give us a day pass to moon palace, their other location. It ended up being a scam, we spent half the day on a tour and harassed into trying to get a membership. The female sales rep at moon palace was incredibly rude and dismissive after we had to be stern about our reply. After refusing the membership we were hesitant to take the day pass feeling uncomfortable and left after dragging our kids there under false pretenses. Otherwise the food at the resort and restaurants were excellent, waiters and waitresses were very attentive & friendly. But I wouldn’t stay there again.

Stayed at the Beach Palace spring of 2025. Overall it was a very good experience. The place itself is very clean. It is quite outdated and in need of a facelift but nothing that dampened the vacation. At least for our stay, it was mostly families there which was super cool as I was there with my wife and two sons 12 and 13. The food overall was very good. There were a few things here and there that were not so great but it’s a huge menu and the majority of the items are well better than average. The coffee could be better, the tacos were awesome. The beach was very nice. There is some seaweed there but not as bad as some made it sound and there were workers cleaning it off the beach. There were always servers there offering us drinks and food which can be ordered right to the beach making things super convenient. The pools were fine as well. Need a little bit of work but they were very clean. We went to a few shows and they weren’t the greatest but worth going. They had a karaoke night which was cool just wish it was a bit longer for the kids sake. They had more fun with it than the adults. The highlight of out trip for sure was the staff. All staff would get an A in our book. Every staff person there was super nice, very freindly and attentive to our family. The service was always outstanding. The staff was always very helpful. Every meal we ate either at a restaurant or buffet, we were treated great. The staff absolutely makes the experience worth it.

I had high expectations for this resort because of all the positive reviews. Sorry to say, I was underwhelmed. The good: Check-in/out was quick. Food was above average for an all-inclusive. Getting reservations was easy. Room service was quick and good. The entertainment was better than other resorts. Every day or night there was a live band. The evening shows were terrific. The rooms are spacious and the daybeds on the balcony are a nice touch. The pool was warm. Several staff members were stand outs- Sarah and Anjelica at the beach and pool and Alfredo in the sports bar. The bad: The hotel is "weathered", but still nice. A/C didn't work at first, but was quickly dealt with. The shower had a sewer smell coming from the drain. The service at the coffee shop is hit and miss. The workers speak little to no English and would often forget to make something. Not every employee was super friendly. They weren't rude just not as nice as other resorts. Housekeeping was very inconsistent. They would forget to restock the coffee and refrigerator. Had to call the front desk several times for water, coffee, and pop. The elevators are sketchy. They are very small, make weird noises and sometimes stop at random floors. The ugly: The last full day of our trip, one of the housekeepers stole money from my wife's backpack. The staff was not helpful at all. They said they "couldn't prove the money was stolen". All they had to do was check the cameras to see who entered the room!

Stayed on 2nd floor with ocean view. The staff was very friendly. Food was good but not a lot of options. Only 4 restaurants and a buffet. The pool looked dirty at the end of the day. Pool on the top floor was better but smaller. The room was outdated and needed major remodeling. The ac was turning off everytime we opened and closed the sliding door. They are remodeling the resort in August 2025.

What a great resort…Beach Palace customer service was outstanding! We enjoy every single day of our stay. The staff from public relations go about and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and all the staff are kind and eager to help and please you. We truly had an amazing time and we will definitely come back. I highly recommend Beach Palace! Shout out to Carlos, Rafael, and the chef from Momo restaurant and all the wonderful personnel that made our stay memorable.

El trato es muy bueno. la ubicación está excelente, la plaza, la isla está a cinco minutos caminando. lo que me gustó mucho, y agradezco mucho, es que nuestro check Out era 12 P.M. y nuestro avión salía hasta las seis de la tarde y podemos usar instalaciones y restaurantes hasta poco antes de irnos.

They made us go to Moon Palace and waste a day with high pressure sales with 4-5 sales person one after another. This in exchange for free trip to Chichen Itza when we should have been given other options to purchase the ride like in other tourist places like Puerto Rico! Overall the hotel was good, food and drinks were great except for the Asian restaurant where the food was terrible and smaller portions. I would not return to the place if the high pressure sales tactics for time share thing. Ocean water in the area was amazingly blue.

This hotel is being shut down in September I believe to be remodeled. It’s old. I’d hold off on stay till the remodel. Staff was great. Food was alright but 5 out of 6 dinners took 90 mins to two hours out of the night so be ready. Also, cleaning services left our room door open. The hotel confirmed it was their staff that did it. They offered us $70 credit if we signed an NDA agreement. Yeah that’s not cool. Feel like they could have done better than that since they left all of our cash and passports open to anyone. Our room was also located in front of the elevators so many people had acess.

First time at Beach Palace or any other Palace resort. Great experience. Traveled with 11 and 14 year old kids. They loved it. Love that everything is right there. No huge facility where you need to take golf carts to go to the beach or pool. Food was on par for all-inclusives— not award winning but something for everyone. Great room service 24/7. Speedy and great options. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Didn’t feel like I was constantly being pressured into tipping at every interaction. Staff were genuine and caring. Will definitely be going back.

We had a wonderful stay at Beach Palace! The service was top notch. Every meal, every interaction with staff was so positive. They really went above and beyond to help us have a great experience. (Make sure you tip, even a couple of dollars). Luis and Joan from the pool did a great job with leading the water aerobics! Every meal we had was delicious. The portions were reasonable and the quality was excellent. The night entertainment was a lot of fun as well! The views were exquisite, and the water was gorgeous, just like the pictures. We didn’t know kids weren’t allowed in Sports Bar after 10pm, as there was no signage to indicate it. My son was disappointed to have to leave. The ONLY reason that I am not giving this resort a 10/10 is that we were offered a “day pass” to the Moon Palace with promises of fun experiences for the kids. When we got there, we were told that we had to sit through a 90 minute time share presentation before we would be allowed to get day passes. This was NOT disclosed to us initially by Talita, our initial contact. We ended up asking for a taxi back because we didn't want to drag our kids through the presentation. I would highly recommend this resort, it was absolutely wonderful, but do NOT do the “day pass” to Moon Palace.

The staff at check in tell you the room is not ready but if you upgrade at a cost of $75.00 you can get a better room right away. It was actually $75.00 a night and was not ready any early then attempted to sell a time share. When trying to just get into our booked room and not upgrade, they already charge our card and the manager refused to speak to us. This happened to several people during our stay.

Great experience! The staff is absolutely amazing. Friendly, professional and so much fun. We loved Damasio at the pool bar, Andres, Ernesto and Gabriela at Tequila restaurant at breakfast and lunch, they absolutely made this stay amazing for us. Great, great people and the hotel is super clean. Totally recommend.

This property was excellent. The restaurant choices were excellent and the coffee bar was so fun. The staff was so attentive. The pool and beach were so nice and it wasn’t too crowded. The roof top pool was quiet and a great view. The lagoon view was the best with the Ferris wheel and sunsets. The mall is so nice and in walking distance where they also have a dolphin show and aquarium. A great place to stay and enjoy the beach!

The property itself was wonderful. Great beach and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Food was excellent. Lots of activities for guests that were included. The only drawback is the adjacent hotels that are abandoned. (didn't survive the pandemic?) Other than that we were impressed with the level of service and the friendliness of the staff.

The positive was that the beach was beautiful and clean. The hotel itself is very dated but most of the staff were friendly. When we checked in we were offered an upgrade for a price. Our side of the building(bay side) has shows outside and could get noisy. Our room had four people but only got two towels and no washcloths. They also never restocked mini fridge with water. The pools are small and not a lot of chairs. The pool bars are not great. I asked for a white wine and the told me they ran out! How can you run out at an all-inclusive hotel? Same thing happened to my son when he went to get chocolate ice cream. He was told they don’t have any more… The rooftop pool is nice but the lunch we had there was slow, cold and terrible! The dinning areas are not big. First come, first serve. No reservations! The night we wanted Japanese, there was an hour and thirty five minute wait! The food is average. The elevators are slow and backup. Be prepared to wait. Beware! The staff seem friendly but they have an agenda. They are pushing their new property at the Moon Palace called The Grand. They will do anything to get you to go and see. Even give you extra hotel credit. But, you can only use the credit on certain things. Not everything, so ask first if you can use the credit on what you want. Just so you know it’s a timeshare pitch! I am not opposed to staying at another Palace property and giving it a try again, but I will not be going back to the Beach Palace.

Overall excellent. We just returned from our 5 day vacation at Beach Palace and couldn't be more pleased. The food was excellent (Tavola, Momo, Gondola, Sweet & Coffee cafe). The facilities (pool, the beach access, stadium bar) and entertainment (night shows) were great. And the service overall was just amazing (special call out to Rafael at Momo, Daniel at Tavola and the servers at Sweet & Coffee). Every person was so professional, helpful and courteous. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Good choice of cuisine, buffet breakfast good. Wait for some restaurants 2hrs. Resorts have to STOP allowing towels to hold pool chairs. So many guests unable to sit around the pool, over half chairs never used but saved all day.

The food at the hotel was just okay. The food was bland. The room needed additional attention. I felt that a jacuzzi in a 2 bed room is unnecessary and took up so much space.

We recently stayed 5 days and 4 nights and overall the resort was very nice. We enjoyed the pool area a couple of days, which was not very crowded. The beach was ok. We ate at each of the restaurants and the staff throughout the resort was great. Our favorite restaurant Tavola and we ate there twice. We went to the sports bar a few nights and enjoyed the atmosphere and live entertainment. The downside...we did not enjoy the buffet food (room service was better) and there weren't many options/activities for our teens. Also, the vacant resort right next door was a serious eyesore.
