We stayed on our way through town. Check in was very friendly and helpful. The front desk worker suggested places to eat dinner and even filled our water bottles for us. The hotel is very clean and new. Plenty of parking and all the staff members were very friendly

Very remote location and the town doesn't have much to offer in regards to dining and entertainment, but we were visiting the prison, so the hotel was conveniently located right down the street, minutes away. The hotel offered great amenities- pool, gym, breakfast dining room and a small bar. The property was well kept, clean and updated. The staff was really friendly and provided great customer service. Overall we were very pleased and would stay again.

I have stayed here before and will do so again. It is a great “halfway” layover between the Bay Area and So Cal. The hotel is newer and very nicely furnished. Modern and comfortable with big rooms and great amenities, including an ample breakfast bar. The one draw back is that it’s a bit of a distance to the main part of Coalinga and so food options are not very convenient, but presumably you have a car and it’s an easy to drive to dinner. If you bring food, each room has a fridge and microwave. The hotel also has some microwave meal options and other snacks for purchase, plus a bar and nice common area, so the lack of nearby restaurants really isn’t a big deal.

This ended up being a great spot to stop as a solo traveler heading from Southern to Northern California on the I-5. It's about 10 minutes from the 5, but a very clean, solid property. It was my luck that there was a huge group that arrived 1 minute before me, but the receptionist took care of them and i only waited a few. She answered all my questions and took care of a few extras later in the evening (tire service in town, TV issues). The room was great: clean, quite soundproof (just distant sounds of doors closing), nice decor, quality toiletries, pretty comfy bed. The breakfast is nice: juices, eggs, sausage patties, Oats, cereals, biscuits & gravy-- all ready at 5:30 to help all of us that have to get on the road. even if things were a bit tepid, still tasty. The gym was empty and nicely equipped but the cleaning wipes were dried. I'd say a great place to stop in Coalinga--a 3-star stopover done right!

It was good just for 2 days 1 night. My wife and 2 kids were comfortable and it was nice my wife injured her foot on a walk before the hotel so i asked for a walk in shower and it was fantastic for her. The breakfast was really good according to my kids i slept. I guess they have a mini pancake maker. And the pool was great.

Clean, roomy, pleasant staff. However, the rooms are incredibly GLOOMY done in dark greys and black and brown with not enough lighting, even in daylight. Also, only 1 very, very slow ice machine all the way down in the lobby. Very inconvenient.

This is hotel is very nicely furnished HOWEVER the internet connection is awful and almost unusable. My room had an awful stink. The bathroom strongly smelled of mildew. And the TV never worked.

The breakfast options weren’t that great. I ended up skipping breakfast. The room was missing a light bulb got it fixed the last night I was there and the refrigerator cabinet door was broken but got it fixed. The room was dusty and housekeeping only made the bed no dusting or wiping down of surfaces or shower.

The hotel is lovely. The staff were friendly and attentive. The place was very clean. My room was large with a flat screen tv, microwave, coffee maker. Breakfast was nice also. Very new property in excellent condition. Staff were all very friendly and polite. Our first floor room was very quiet. Only tiny negatives were that there were no USB ports in the room and it's a bit outside town. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We've stayed at this Best Western several times when we're in town to visit relatives. It's convenient to town and the help is always very nice. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Coalinga. It may be time to get some new pillows, however. They are lumpy and hard. (<;

2 am rolls around and the ceiling opens up. The rain starts coming in and soaking my daughter's bed. What does front desk say about this? Too bad. If you don't like it you can find a room elsewhere. But no refunds. The next morning I find the manager doesn't work weekends they said they would have her call me same day by texting her. Nothing.

The room was great, and the premises are all clean. It was really sad that the breakfast was the same every day with biscuits and gravy, an egg choice, and a sausage choice. Only one side of the toaster worked. The cleaning ladies were spectacular and very kind. They messed up my reservation so I had to see if they could accommodate me for an extra day. The update that I put into Expedia was given to the hotel, but when I was checked in the lady checked me in for the original, and not the updated version of my hotel day, which caused a little bit of trouble. However, it was rectified, but the cost of the room was more expensive.

The only complaint I have is that the bar was not open for the evening that we stayed and we were looking forward to a beverage when we arrived. We were not aware the bar would not be accessible and there are not conveniently located stores close to this hotel because it is in a very remote location. Otherwise this place is a wonderful place to stay.

If you are driving up 5, this hotel is a little off the road, but that makes it quiet. The hotel was also nice and clean, and check-in was fast and easy. We had breakfast at the hotel before heading out, and it was more than just a continental breakfast — hot sausage, eggs, pancakes, biscuits! I would definitely stay there again.

This was one of my better stays. Everything was just great. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The shower / bathtub was so clean. It is located in cow country so there was an aroma outside but inside was fresh and clean. The breakfast was fantastic!! I have to give them 6 stars for breakfast. The briskets and gravy are to die for. Just the best I have had in a long time. I have eaten at restaurants that did not have the quality of this breakfast. From the time we arrived until we left, we felt like guests. Hats off to this crew, just simply the best experience in a long time. The bed was so comfortable the best sleep ever! I should of looked at the brand. I will definitely stay here again. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much for one of the best stays of my life.

Our stay was fine; clean and ready, comfortable. About 10 miles off i5. Breakfast is 5-8 AM M-F so if you arrive late as we did you might miss breakfast.
