What guests think

Tru by Hilton Las Vegas Airport, NV draws consistent praise for friendly staff, clean, functional rooms, and a highly convenient location near the airport and rental car center, though several reviews note trade-offs like limited space and basic amenities.

The free airport shuttle is appreciated but runs on a set schedule (often hourly) and pickup can involve waits or coordination issues. Rooms are modern and efficiently laid out, yet many mention loud in-room AC units and occasional highway or airplane noise. Cleanliness is usually solid, though multiple guests flagged isolated housekeeping misses or maintenance wear, and breakfast is basic with later weekend hours that early flyers sometimes miss. Expect a simple, convenient stopover rather than a full-service stay.

The hotel was fine for our purpose. We have stayed in other Tru locations and found them to be sinple, functional locations. The open lobby area is appealing, and a good place to get work sone. My only ding is the fixed, on the hour shuttle to/from the airport.

Clean hotel room with great breakfast. Only issue I had was getting the shuttle from the airport. I had a hard time getting in touch with the hotel to have them pick me up.

The property is great; modern clean. Hard to find shuttle in the evening and spent 11 minutes on the phone to get to the right person. The shuttle took 37 minutes to arrive. I was a little angry, but the lady at the reception that evening did what ever she can to help me and I was happy with her professionalism and communication. She explained everything honestly and it made sense to me. I will book again

Did not look nearly as nice as it did in the pictures. Building seemed run down and the continental breakfast did not resemble the pictures advertising it on the tv in the room. In addition one of the elevators broke down while we were inside it and remained broken for the rest of our stay.

This is a decent but very basic property. Everything worked fine. It was clean. Breakfast was okay but very basic. Note 1: Air conditioning is one of those noisy units contained within the room, not central A/C. Yes, it blows cold air, but quite noisy. Note 2: they advertise airport shuttle service but be aware that for return trips back to the airport they only go one time per hour.

Other than my room having an extremely bad odor, stains on the sheets, tiles starting to fall apart off the walls, I had a nice stay. The staff were very friendly and nice. I loved that breakfast was provided as well as a complimentary ride to the airport. I truly hate that my room had a foul odor which caused all of my belongings and clothes to have that same smell. I went out and purchased air freshener for the remainder of my visit and even the air freshener and Lysol didn’t help with the smell. The room needed a really good deep clean with real cleaning products and needs to be aired out.

The hotel condition is fair. When I walked into the room, there were water leaking like in between the room floor right next to the bed, which was made with lumber (LVP) like material. I called the front desk right away, they sent someone with couple of towels and he said the housekeeping person mopped the floor and still had water left over. Therefore, he put couple of large white towels on top of that to dry out. The common areas like hallway, elevator and doors were discolored.

Booked this hotel because we’re currently moving from NV to another state. Stayed for two nights and it was great. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful, rooms are very clean and much like another review said- it does not reek of bleach and the sheets are actually soft. Came in with my pup and the staff was very helpful with him and they have relief areas in the parking lot as well. It’s basic but has all we needed and the bed was super comfortable. Another plus is we could not hear the highway, maybe a plane now and then but nothing crazy.

The AC in the room worked but had the craziest sound. The normal expected sounds but then every 60 seconds it sounded like someone was rubbing sandpaper together or like a dog scratching a door or a rainmaker being shaken up. It was very disturbing while trying to sleep all night. Most of the staff was friendly. The sink drained really slowly in the bathroom. Lights seemed finicky to operate. Room seemed like it hadn’t been swept very well upon arrival. It was clean otherwise and the beds very pretty comfy. Breakfast was fine and as expected. The road outside was a little noisy but couldn’t be overheard over the crazy sounds of the AC.

It’s was clean and comfortable however a light broke in our room in the first day, the overhead lights did not work on the second day, and there was a weird smell the day we came in. I informed hotel staff of all incidents but they did not send anyone to fix them despite my reminders. The rooms were also smaller than expected and did not have sufficient storage space. I would stay for a night or two but do not recommend for an extended stay.

The hotel itself is decent, 24x7 coffee and filtered water downstairs. But if any issues arise—you’re on your own. Got a welcome text but when asked the welcome person for partial refund due to all-night loud construction right under our windows, the welcome person ghosted me. No usual “how was your stay?” at checkout. Wouldn’t stay here again unless had no other options.
