Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Bakersfield North/Airport

Fairfield Inn-Bakersfield North Airport location never disappoints. From the friendly, efficient greeting from Riley at the front desk upon arrival to the friendly and professional gentleman at the desk at check out, the entire staff is fantastic. The room was well-insulated and very quiet. It has a mini-fridge and microwave. The breakfast is fine. The gym has plenty of exercise equipment. It sometimes needs towels or anti-bacterial wipes to be replaced more frequently. But otherwise, this property is well-run, well-staffed and looks new. I will stay here again.

Elevator was down. It would have been great if she would have said it before she gave me a room. She didn’t say anything at all till after a room was assigned to me. Such an inconvenience to go up and down. Especially if you have trouble going up flights of stairs, she didn’t even ask if I was able to. Do better and next time let your guests know ahead of time not EVERYONE can do stairs.

We stayed one night and it was perfect! The gym was very clean and the pool was relaxing. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and delicious coffee. Lots of healthy options to choose from. We only wish the pillows were of better quality for a good nights sleep.

Fairfield Bakersfield Airport North has a horrible security system. I parked under two cameras and woke up to thousands of dollars of stools stolen out of my truck. They are now claiming my truck wasn’t in view of the cameras. Mind you I was parked right next to the door where anybody can enter the hotel yet it’s not in the view of the cameras, very strange. If you are in the trades and want your tools protected do not stay at this hotel. The Kern county sheriffs department also stated this happens all the time and they always have so called problems with their cameras. So disappointing. Do not stay at this hotel for the sake of your vehicles and safety!!

Excellent Stay (Minor Stair Challenge) I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott . The property was immaculately clean, and I received great service from the staff. The only issue was the elevator being broken for most of my visit. Hauling luggage up the stairs wasn't easy, but I needed the workout! Thankfully, the elevator was fixed right before checkout. Overall, the quality of the room and the excellent service made this a highly positive experience. I would definitely recommend it.

Staff was very friendly. Pool area coulduse some attention

コインランドリーがあって便利でした。

Wish the spot had more weights but everything was sufficient

Modern, clean, safe, quiet, except i could hear a loud air conditioning unit either next door or above me. Nice pool and jacuzzi to stretch and relax, adequate basic gym. Lobby has well distanced and adequate seating to relax or work with a couple computers. Everything was very clean. The Jacuzzi walls looked dirty, but it wasnt, just needs new paint. I would stay again if traveling through.

Wanted to do laundry but all 3 washers were out of order. Bathroom has a timed light. Lights went out in middle of my shower. Had to get out of shower & walk in dark to get lights back on. Breakfast serving area has waffle maker right next to the hot food area which makes for a crowded experience. Also thought the swim towels were very thin for such.

Always very clean.

Very clean room, great location, good breakfast, and friendly staff

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Courteous staff, location, cleanliness. Overall a great stay

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our extended stay.

Good breakfast. Nice beds. Carpet was not clean.

I have stayed at this property several times and will not hesitate to stay here again. The property is new and in fantastic condition. The staff are friendly, professional and well-trained in customer service. I like the rooms since they are comfortable, quiet, clean and provide a microwave and refrigerator. Really, everything is at this property that one would need and expect, as well as a reasonable price.

When we arrived I went into the bath and there was hair on the towel. The sheet was very old and worn. Every door slam in the corridor was heard loudly in the room and the breakfast was mediocre

We did not stay after seeing bed bugs crawl under the pillow. We left immediately.

Large clean room. Great staff

Everything was great except the bed was way too hard.

Room was beautiful and quiet. it was a nice stay overall. Especially those black out curtains!

Bathroom wasnot well lite. Shower was very small. Breakfast was poor. Room very small. Not even a comfortable chair. Expected more from Fairfield inns will not stay here again.

Les chambres ne sont pas du tout isolées phoniquement

Room eas very clean and spacious

1 night stay. Came back to room A/C was barely working with room 75 & set to 68. Late so just went to bed & left in the morning. Not enough washcloths in room & had to use hand towels from desk. Front desk staff was friendly & helpful.

The room was big and spacious. The beds were okay. There was no water pressure or hot water on the 2nd floor. We contacted the front desk. They said they would let maintenance know. No shower- due to water pressure. Breakfast was not good. Asked for a refund and received points equal to 1/8 of our stay. We will not stay here again. We were very disappointed.

The hotel looks nice and figured it wouldn’t be bad since it’s Marriot. The bed is horrible.

Pillows were uncomfortable.

Our family of 6 stayed here as part of our vacation after a great time in San Diego. The location was great and check-in was fine—but things went downhill fast. The morning after our first night, I noticed brown water leaking from the base of the toilet, spreading across the bathroom floor. I’d seen some dampness the night before but figured it was from a prior guest or one of my kids after a shower. I reported it, and a tech confirmed the leak. Instead of handling it professionally, the assistant manager questioned why I didn’t report it earlier, despite my explanation. The interaction turned needlessly confrontational, but was never abusive on my end. I asked for a refund for the second night (which we hadn’t stayed yet), but was told it probably wouldn’t happen. They offered to move us to another room later that day, but after talking it over—especially with my daughter having been barefoot in the bathroom—we decided not to return. When I called to cancel, I was falsely accused of being abusive to staff, which was completely untrue. After several calls between Expedia and the hotel, they agreed to split the refund. Two weeks later, Expedia says the hotel still hasn’t processed it. The plumbing issue was bad, but the bigger issue was the poor management and lack of accountability. I travel a lot, and this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.

Excellent stay and friendly staff!

The staff was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful at check-in, and even let us use the pool for the 30 minutes we waited to check in because we were early! They were so accomodating. The next morning, I accidentally left my AirPods in the room, and Tallas went out of her way to make sure I got them back. I'll stay here every time I'm in Bakersfield, and I've already told my local friends about the great staff at this hotel! Thank you all!

Just a shout out to the guest services who let me check in early (they happened to have a room ready) after my lyft driver left me at the wrong hotel and I had to walk several blocks to the Fairfield in 104 degree weather. I needed to shower to get ready for an event and do some work before leaving, so they were a great help. Also, I had to leave the next morning at 5am, and the lady there in the morning was very courteous as well. So this praise is for the front office. Actually, the room and bathroom were well done too, so another shout out to the cleaning service as well.

Nancy at the front desk was super awesome professional, thanks for everything Nancy!

Great customer service. Andrew at the front desk was very helpful.

Personal de recepcion con una mala actitud, apatica y nada servicial. Atiende de mal gusto.

I have stayed at this hotel several times previously and have appreciated it every time. As before, Riley was very helpful and friendly at the front desk from the start of my stay through checkout. I highly appreciate the quietness of the hotel and the well-insulated rooms. I slept well and was very comfortable there, all for an affordable price. Oh, the gym was a much-appreciated amenity. I will definitely stay here again.

Poor customer service. We needed some extra bedding and were told it was late though they were at work in the night shift. Also told there was no roll out bed. Hotels have rollouts. I called them out then I got told it was broken! So my kid slept on the floor for 2 nights

The property is conveniently located near the airport, and it is quiet, clean, and well-maintained. Staff are friendly. The surrounding area is built for vehicles, travelers spending the night at a hotel cluster, and industry, not pedestrians or runners.

A bit far from I-5

Great hotel with easy access to freeway and some restaurants. Very quiet and a wonderful friendly staff

The hotel is quite nice, but there are no decent places to eat.

It is a nice facility. It is in a bit of a "truck stop" area, but the actual hotel is very nice and not noisy. Good breakfast included with the stay.

Easy to get to, clean and safe property.

Great location.

Close to the airport and multiple dining options

On a road trip. Stop for one night. Very easy to get to from highway. Staff were pleasantly polite. Convenient quick foods nearby. Perfect for our needs. Room was quite nice as well.

The hotel and room was clean and stocked with everything you need. and Breakfast was great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Limited breakfast options

Very nice staff. But terrible breakfast. Not much choice

Friendly front desk, Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok, had better at a hotel but very disappointed when my family and i went down with 30 min left and they didnt restock any of the food.

Great hotel with awesome staff! I love the breakfast selections as well. I stay here every time I’m in Bakersfield and I’m always extremely satisfied.

The hotel was really nice, but the breakfast was a let down compared to previous stays. It lacked variety, quality, and appetizing appeal.

Everything was great, Room, Staff & Breakfast

We had a great stay here. We were in town for one night. All the receptionist we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was clean & very nice. I could figure out how to print something & the receptionist was kind enough to print it for me.

This hotel is a regular stopping point on our way to Southern California. The Fairfield Inn Is quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast is lovely, especially the oatmeal bar. We'll continue to choose this property for overnight stays.

2 night stay. No housekeeping provided and when questioned I was told they only provide any housekeeping every other day. Do you are allotted 2 towels which is ok I guess but you also only get 1 coffee pod & 1 decaf for your 2 night stay. Also breakfast bar was constantly out of numerous hot items and when guests would mention it to attendant she would not even acknowledge that she heard them.
