The hotel is conveniently located near the freeway, and the room itself was spacious. The sheets appeared clean, which were two of the few positives of the stay. The mobile “check-in” service they provide for you to do it on your phone was pointless since you have to do it all again during check-in. Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly impacted the overall experience. The pillows were unusually small and square, and the bed was noticeably lopsided and uncomfortable. Basic toiletries were also lacking: there was no soap provided, and the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty. Several of the towels had noticeable yellow staining, which was disappointing from a cleanliness standpoint. The air conditioning unit appeared very outdated, and there was an unsettling screeching noise whenever the neighboring room used its water. The window also faced directly toward another closed window, providing essentially no access to fresh air or an exterior view. Most concerning, however, was the smell. The hotel as a whole had a persistent odor resembling sewage or a poorly maintained restroom, while the room itself smelled strongly of mildew. These odors were noticeable throughout the stay and made it difficult to feel comfortable in the room. While the convenient location and spacious room were positives, the cleanliness, maintenance, amenities, and overall condition of the property need considerable improvement. I would not choose this place again.

When we arrived we chose a room on the 4th floor. We found a cockroach and mold and hair in the shower. We were moved to a different room that we later found out there was a staff meeting going until 10 PM with applause about every 20-30 minutes making it difficult to sleep. We chose to pass on the free breakfast because the facility was not clean.

I stayed in room 206 and there was black mold in the bathroom. Until I sprayed essential oils, the whole room smelled like mildew every time I walked in. When I went to have breakfast around 815 830ish there was no more hot foods for their breakfast. I guess it’s one of those situations where you get what you pay for. I didn’t say anything to staff because I didn’t want to deal with it during a very busy work trip, but wow.
