Stayed 3 nights

I get that it's a hostel but it was a little too laid back. It feels like anyone can walk up into the place and just hang out which that's fine for other people but it wasn't my jam at all. I was appreciative of the space heater for it would get colder at night but it seems like a hippie spot where folks just hang out all day and chill. Not as clean as I would like but friendly enough. I can see who would love this place unfortunately it wasn't me BUT they weren't mean or unkind, just too relaxed in their standards (if that makes sense).

Needing one night in town before setting off on a hiking trip, this place was perfect for what we needed. Super fun having the bar & food trucks in the back yard.

The biggest plus point of this place is the location . It’s near down town and very walkable to famous places. Pros Washroom in my building was ok Ample parking space in and around property Food trucks on premises. Cons Whole property felt mismanaged My room was hot as an oven. I could not sleep at all at night because of the heat and no ventilation. It was even difficult to sit there. When I asked the front desk , they said they will look into this but nothing was done. There is an odd smell in the building which might be lack of deep cleaning and old carpets. Also it seems that some people live there permanently and use the rooms and bathrooms as their personal closets. Won’t stay again.

Fabulous location just a few blocks from the main entertainment district. Very nice staff. Great beer garden, beer/cider truck, food trucks, hammocks, bikes, tv room with at least 10 guitars for guests to use, sun room, sauna with great showers. Terrific!

The building is obviously old, but it's been kept up on pretty well. It has a great vibe, and is very nicely set up for just hanging out with friends or getting to know others. Wish I was able to stay for a few more days- maybe next time.
