First time staying at the properly… Arrived early , room was ready ….. very seamless process ……it’s an easy 10 minute walk to moody beach …. Also on the trolley line into ogunquit …… staff was friendly and accommodating…. Pool was clean and heated ….. I’ll be returning ….

This was our first time staying here and we will definitely be back. Location is great. Rooms are quiet despite being on a busy road! The pool was immaculate and warm. Our room was very clean and had recently been updated. Nice to have the refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The owners are very friendly. They kept the pool open for us later than advertised.

Stayed 3 days. Weather was awesome so I sat poolside on two afternoons. Heated salt water pool was clean, heated and very inviting. Room was clean and well maintained. Lived being on Post Road because the area is close to the beach and many offerings of food and interesting shopping.

We brought our bikes knowing the commute to the Ogunquit beach was a close one. The pool was warm and clean. The rooms are average, we found a q-tip under the desk and a few spider webs and the walls are paper thin. We were woken up multiple times a night from both sides of the wall from neighbors TV, random bumping, or people talking outside our room- while using a noise maker.

As I rated it average it is because the cleaning could have been better regarding the dehumidifier was slimy and gross, the bathroom sink, the spill over inside the sink was smelly and gross, mildew. The drains were slow to empty in all sinks and bathtub.

Online room pictures looked better than room we got. Room very average and floor had water damage in bathroom. Beds were good. Entrance door to room was dirty. Front desk staff very nice, welcoming however. Lots of food options nearby, most drive to.

This was a nice, one-night stay. I was disappointed that they only provided shampoo and bar soap…. No conditioner (which I need). The shower floor was discolored so I was not impressed. The front desk clerk was very nice. Beds were comfortable! Great pillows!

We were just there for one night and it worked well for us. It was conveniently located and the beds were pretty comfortable. It is an older facility, but clean. The air conditioning didn’t work great, but wasn’t completely broken so we did get the room sufficiently cool. Office hours are limited (we left before the office was open).

Wells Moody Hotel was your basic roadside hotel. Rooms face the road and are on one level. Walls were thin, bed was good size for two, and the bathroom was small but adequate. Check in was easy. I’d say this would be a good option if getting a room last minute. Otherwise, better to pay a bit more to get a known hotel.

We had 2 rooms for us and our friends. One room was thoroughly redone and in nice shape. The other was a bit more tired and had that carpeting that, in any beach town, always seems slightly damp. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the linens and towels were clean. The motel is on a busy road and depending on which side you're on, it can be a bit noisy with traffic on weekend nights. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The pool area was small but tidy.

This place was in a great location for easy access to Wells and Ogunquit. Om and Hazel were fabulous host, i haven't had a great customer service experience like I did here! Rooms were cozy and clean. Can't wait to go back!

I loved the down-home and personal feel of this motel. And it's such an affordable option compared to the corporate hotels. We were running late, and the motel staff called us and gave us the late check-in procedure. How nice was that? Met the owner the next morning and told them how much we enjoyed our stay with them.

I've stayed at Wells Moody Motel many times, and have always been very satisfied! The property is very basic (roadside motel) - not 5-star luxury, they don't supply designer toiletries, but it completely meets my needs. The proprietors are very friendly and welcoming, the room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the surrounding area is quiet, and it's extremely convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc. And the my favorite activity while I'm there is walking down Bourne Ave about 3/4 of a mile to the beach early in the morning or at sunset - it's magnificant! If you want luxury (and are willing to spend a fortune), then stay at a bougie B&B in Ogunquit. But if you want simplicity at a reasonable price and feel like you're in Maine, this place can't be beat!

We were just passing through on our way home so we only stayed 1 night. The hotel seemed to be very old. The bathroom needed an upgrade and the room was small but everything seemed to be very clean. My husband enjoyed the pool. The location was ok. There was a busy road in front of the hotel and a trailer park behind us but the room was very quiet. There were plenty of restaurants nearby.

The owners were warm & inviting. The place is very clean & has an old fashioned charm. There is a heated pool. Excellent WiFi signal. Right on Route 1, restaurant across the street for lunch or dinner. Beach is .9 mile away walking.

Wells Moody motel is a great option for travelers to stay at while vacationing in the Southern Maine coastline. There is ample parking , the grounds are well manicured, and staff are very friendly. There were dining options near the motel. However it is a bit of a walk if one desires. There is a trolley service nearby one can take to nearby Ogunquit.

Location is good and convenient. It’s not really walking distance to the strand that everyone walks but there is nearby parking so we just drove and parked. We only spent one night…just to sleep and shower. It was perfect for that, although the sheets are like sandpaper.

The welcoming was very warm and the recommendations for dinner (just across the road) and for breakfast ( up the road at the Maine Diner) we’re excellent. It was very clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. We stayed twice and were warmly welcomed back for the second visit.
