Ventura Motel

Got a great price on a room with a king-sized bed. Ventura is in a nice location, walking distance to Lake Michigan and downtown. Ample parking, room was pretty clean, but the property overall is a bit run down. Didn’t bother me too much, considering I paid only about 15 bucks more than a campsite at Ludington State Park would have cost me. I was satisfied overall and will return.

Clean, useful for overnight stay, felt completely safe and comfortable. Would totally stay for multiple nights for complete beach access! ❤️5/5

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was close to the beach, which was awesome, and quiet. With large hotels you're dealing with so many people, but with the Ventura Motel, it was quiet. I enjoy old school motels, and had a wonderful stay!

They did not have the room I booked had to settle for a room with two queen size beds. Instead of the king size bed and whirlpool tub that I booked.

Thank you for letting us stay in your room last night. I must say that it is possible you could be less condescending when asking when asking 3 times about the size of the bed and overweight couple chose to 'rent.' Maybe we work and sleep on different shifts and needed to be close for one night. Feel the love that seems to be slipping away once in a while because we are apart now now than together. OR... Maybe we had to spend almost the entirety of his check on putting our cat down the day before vacation and had to change our two night stay at a beautiful bed and breakfast to a one night stay in your dinky motel because we weren't going to get a refund from the boat for the round-trip tickets we already purchased so, we chose to make the best of our situation. We just needed a good nights sleep which we got, no thanks to your uncomfortable bed and flat pillows. We could have slept on the grass with our hoodies as pillows and rested just as good after the very exhausting week we have had. However, we opted to spend what little money we had left to stay at your motel to be rudely shamed for choosing to sleep on 1 "double" bed as as a fat couple. Thank you for your hospitality, it didn't go far. BUT, we cuddled and were close to each other for the first time in months while also mourning the loss of a cat e had from 3 months old to 13 years. I hope you have the week you deserve.
