The AC was inoperable, and the tech personnel wouldn't admit to the problem.

We had an excellent stay at the Beauport! The room was surprisingly large, clean, and well designed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were great. The adults only rooftop pool was fantastic. Special shout-out to Colby for taking care of us on the rooftop. The only cons were the noise outside early in the morning from the dockyards and the agressive birds on the deck. Overall an excellent stay. Will definitely recommend and hope to come back soon.

Bed is very comfortable. Room is well furnished. Noise is the issue with this hotel. First night we were facing some loading docks in an industrial area ... the entire day there were loud machinery sounds coming from the docks and then at 11pm an 18 wheeler pulled up an idled there for the next 3 hours. We called the front desk and asked to switch rooms because even noise cancelling headphones could not drown out the 18 wheeler. The next room was MUCH quieter but still had an incessant mechanical noise - probably related to the HVAC - that would spin up and down every 10 minutes for the entirety of our stay. The beach is OKAY, not great. It's a great hotel for one day to eat at the restaurant, hang on the beach for a little bitit, maybe catch life music in the rooftop bar and go home after one day. Not worth multiple days. If not for the noise would be 4 out of 5.

Fantastic experience. Small pool but the rooftop is really about the bar and the scenery anyway. The restaurant is terrific, and I loved having access to the beach. Bonus points for having chairs, kayaks and other amenities for the beach... Easy walk to shops and restaurants but make sure to ask for the best path because some roads are not very pedestrian friendly to cross. Room service was quite good and fast. Very friendly staff.
