Room was pleasant and clean. Limited to one elevator as 2nd out of service. Able to check in early which appreciated as traveled most of the day in the rain. Had trouble trying to find entrance and was a challenge. Once acclimated to the area, then no brainier.

The rooms were very clean but definitely on the small side. We had a King Deluxe and it was very small. Very bad experience with the pool. We were there with a group that a number of small children and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM GOT CHEMICAL BURNS FROM THE POOL (CHLORINE) but when the front desk was told about, the woman got nasty and said that it couldn't be that. Well it is awfully odd that every single one of them has markings and a lot of redness, especially on their faces. None of the adults had these because none of us got in the pool. The hotel was beautiful and very nice but the pool definitely needs some work and so does the woman working the counter.

On-line check-in was fast and easy. The staff person was attentive and pleasant. The common areas were current-looking and attractive. Our room was clean, spacious and functional. The area around the hotel is fine, but felt empty on a weekend. However, a restaurant that we enjoy was an easy five-minute walk and was lively. We were there on a very cold night -- probably near 0 degrees F. The area of the room within a few feet of the through-wall HVAC unit was cool, but the rest of the room was at thermostat temperature and stayed at thermostat temperature throughout the night.

There was slamming and poor acoustics the entire stay (only one night from 1am-9am). The curtains did not fully clothes all the way and there was constant light streaming in from the street, and I was worried about people from the city looking in because we were on the first floor. It smelled like cigarettes when we walked into the room. Will not be staying there again.

Property was excellent. The surrounding area/grounds was very clean & offered various restaurants for us to enjoy within walking distance. Room had nice bed linens, comfortable beds, etc. However, the bath linens could have been better. 3 large bath towels were thin, worn with holes & no longer soft. All the hand towels & wash clothes were fine though.

After driving for hours we arrived at the Courtyard late in the evening. The staff was rude and condescending that we arrived late from the moment we got there. It was clear I was bothering her and she did not want to assist us. I have been to many Courtyard's but this was the most unfriendly and unhelpful staff. I wouldn't book here again.
