The front area lacks lighting. Dog poop on outside the premises, flies get inside the room when you open the door, every time you don’t use the internet you have to keep on entering the password, bed mattress sinking. Room was clean, good hot water, amenities are ok.

two stays in last month. Just right for a quick overnight. Beginning to be my go to when visiting the son at college. In the center of restaurants and shops. Park right outside door with lighted lot. Clean room. Check in is easy and quick. Attendant remembered me.

It was very convenient for me, having business on the west side of Columbus. I was not staying long, and had few needs outside of a place to sleep with adequate parking for my truck. Lots of fast-food options nearby. Heavy traffic and its noise were my only complaints.

Red Roof Hilliard was very conveniently located near route 70, grocery stores, movie theater, all kinds of shops and restaurants! My room was large with refrigerator and microwave, shower good and beds comfortable. Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

The room overall was clean, but the beds were disgusting. Sheets dirty, one bed looked like it had mold, under the mattress there was trash. Just very disgusting. I literally slept on top of the blankets and used a towel as my blanket. Couldn’t get out fast enough.

Simply awful. Room was in complete disrepair with stained bedding, broken fixtures, dirty walls, etc. if it hadn’t been the fact that I was exhausted after driving for 10 hours that day I would have asked for a refund and found a new place to stay. Do not recommend at all

Place smell bad and sheets looks like they have not been washed. Air conditioning makes a lot of noise, vents in the bathroom makes alot of noise. Nothing in this place looks nowhere like it was on the picture. I was very disappointed with everything at this place, couldn’t enjoy my stay and had to leave as early as 5am

My room was ok til it started raining. Water started coming from the door. I had to use the tiles and make sure my things weren't on the floor because the water started coming in. My room was clean. A lot of strange people out. But it was decent.

Pretty decent. Room was mostly clean and updated. Slight dog smell and did find crusty streak marks from dog poop still there? So not great. Saw so many people with dogs not picking up poop. Really discouraging. But as far as red roof goes this was decent I suppose. Got a late check out and barely 5 minutes after they were knocking and calling to see if we were staying again. It was Sunday and most people gone so maybe they have squatter issues? Overall not bad and would consider returning or spending more for better quality. But that doesn’t always happen.

The whole check in process was horrible. The receptionist rolled her eyes when we walked up to the counter to ask questions. I saw a special online and asked her about it and she got smart. I ended up booking online and she told me I can’t find it even after I showed her the receipt and reservation number. She tried to charge my husbands card a second time then she threw our keys on the counter. She was not friendly nor welcoming. I’ve never had this happen and I’m truly disgusted and disappointed not to mention the room had bed bugs as I have pictures and videos. This was the most horrible booking ever.

The room was not clean. The area is not safe. We met Dawn in the car park who told us she had a court hearing in the morning and was going to smoke some weed. She lived in the room next door to us. Overall the room was below standard for what I expect at the price I paid for it. I have no idea where the "excellent" reviews are coming from!

Good stay, no issues with anything with the room. Receptionist was super nice. It seemed like the Hotel itself was like all the other Red Roof Inn’s around the Columbus area. The only issue is literally Hilliard itself. There is a large amount of foot traffic, car traffic and just random people around the area. If you have an issue with that then maybe don’t stay anywhere near Hilliard or Downtown Cbus. Also the street to get into it floods and has potholes. Just fyi.

The best part of this property was the desk clerk. He was friendly and helpful. The best part about the area was the Wendy\'s right next door. I was concerned about safety as I read the signs about no extra guests and other warnings about charges for things that guests shouldn\'t do. The cars in the parking lot made me concerned about driver consideration for mine as they came and went. The desk clerk gave the impression that it would be better to stay in a room on the first level near to the office. We entered the room and it has an old odd smell. It seemed clean. The room was small but I wasn\'t surprised. The security bolt had been replaced and the door showed signs that the previous security bolt having been yanked or forcibly removed. If I were traveling by myself I probably would have stayed. My wife was very unsettled by the atmosphere of the motel. We tried to check out at the front desk. They tried to offer another room. I told them "no thank you." We had already made reservations at a nearby hotel. We knew we would not get a refund. We paid more at another hotel and slept peacefully without any concerns. Oh , one more thing. It was amusing but also indicative of the regular clientele when I saw a sign in the room listing the price for items in the room, If a guest wanted the item they were encouraged to buy them from the front desk. Otherwise they could take the item from the room and it would be charged to their bill.

My experience has been great. A nice place to decompress from a long 700 mile drive, staff was friendly, and welcoming, also they allowed my Pit Bull without any questions, easy access to restaurants, convenient stores and the on ramp for the interstate.
