What guests think

Reviews of Lincoln Park Motel describe an older, cottage style property with friendly staff and budget rates, but experiences vary widely, especially around cleanliness, room condition, parking availability, and neighborhood feel.

Several guests reported pests, odors, or maintenance issues, while others found rooms tidy. Parking is frequently limited and amenities are basic, with a shared outdoor microwave and few in-room extras. The setting is convenient for certain city destinations, but multiple reviews mention a rough-feeling area and occasional late-night disturbances. Expect a no-frills stay where value and staff warmth compete with noticeable trade-offs.

The area didn't feel safe. There were people in the parking lot that were questionable. There may have been a naked woman across the way. They went to the level of turning on the tv when we were checking out to see if we had broken the tv. One microwave in the parking lot for everyone was rather weird too. It was definitely a sketchy area.

Old unique hotel layout with cottage style rooms. Rooms were spacious and overall good. Was abel to park just opposite the room, so quite convenient. Overall happy with stay. No additional amenities inside the room but microwave and coffee maker access outside in common area but no cups available in common area. But, overall good stay.

Very limited parking area. Staff were good. Loud noises outside during the night-motorcycles in and out. Other guests were loud and management didn't do anything about it. No microwave. Work table in the room is small.

Oh no, where to start! It was like staying in a kids camp. No ice machine, no iron, no desk, no chair, shared microwave (located outside), no telephone. Booked queen bed, what I got was not a queen size bed but instead a double. We could tell the difference. This place should be a $50.00 a night at the most. I will never stay here again!

Never had to use quaint and crappy in the same sentence. No phone in room. Nothing had a drawer of shelf even the mini fridge. The t.v worked like it was the 70's and it got rabbit ear antennas. Ended up leaving early.

The staff was polite and welcoming. But the motel itself was really bad! You walk into the room it seems clean but the worst of it always bed bugs! There's no worse thing ever! You sleep on the bed and that's where you're supposed to find comfort just to be scratching all night mattress dented in and waking up the next morning with the itch! Also there's a lot of people outside making noise

The Motel front desk staff are all friendly, but the room is not clean. I live in Room 22, They have cockroaches in the room, and one of my family members woke up in the middle of the night with a cockroach crawling on their head. And I don't know whether there are fleas or mosquitoes, my daughter got 5 big bites.

Unique: it‘s inherently bad, starting from the unsafe feel of the district, to the horrible rooms. At first glance it seemed clean, until we found several long black hairs inbetween the bed sheets ( none of us has black hair, neither long). A word about the smell in the room: a mix between something chemical, along with the smell of a decomposing animal in the room. View from the north window: directly onto a dirty wall with a mesh fence and some plastic debris (trash) hanging in. We made the mistake of booking and paying for 4 nights, didn‘t want to stay longer after the first night. Of course, a refund, even partial, was denied.

Shower water would get hot for about two minutes before a loud plumbing sound like you want to turn it off before the whole bathroom blows up lol. And the bed was on wheels, so shaky and awkward. TV signal cut out for big chunks of time.

This motel is older but fairly well kept. The rooms are very small, and the bed is set up connected to a wall with furniture making it impossible to really have 2 adults get in and out of the bed without crawling over each other.

With continuous booking, we didnt receive towels, we need to ask for one. Then one night, a strange guy just banging our door screaming to let him in, he kept unlocking our door for a minute or two trying to get in. When the police arrived, the front desk didnt even check the security camera and did nothing. The entrance of motel has no guard or gate so anyone can get inside.
