At Aloft Raleigh Durham Airport Brier Creek, travellers highlight generally clean, comfortable rooms and a convenient location near RDU, with a shuttle, lively bar, and social lobby spaces that make short airport stays straightforward.
Guests like the gym and pool table, though pool availability varies, and some note newly introduced or higher parking charges plus occasional parking-lot security concerns. Service earns frequent praise, but reviews also mention sporadic check-in hiccups, billing errors, and uneven shuttle timing or communication. Accommodations feel modern; some layouts are small, with occasional hallway noise and intermittent AC or TV issues. Expect a convenient, social, airport-area stay with mostly smooth service and a few operational quirks.

Facilities
Lively bar, lobby games/social areas, and a decent gym get positive notes; the airport shuttle is convenient but timing and reliability are inconsistent. Pool access is hit-or-miss, and reviews mention new parking fees and a couple of security concerns.

First, the hotel decor is LOVELY. 2nd, the bar serves food until 10pm and that's SO convenient. MOST IMPORTANT, the shuttle service is Epic.

Rooms were clean. Customer service was excellent and I parked my car there while on my vacation for $5 per day. Free shuttle to and from the airport! Would definitely recommend!

Very nice place to stay- they even drive you to restaurants within 5 mi, airport, etc. Rooms are comfortable & clean, great AC & nice gym too. Only issue - no shelves, niches, etc in shower - you have to have a shelf for your razor, rubber ducky or whatever Either way-would definitely recommend aloft with or without shelves.

I love this hotel and it's my normal hotel for when I visit the RDU area, but this will be my last time because they now have signs in the parking lot indicating they will be charging to park which I feel is ludicrous. If I am paying to stay here that should include parking. I could see if the hotel was downtown where parking is limited, but it's not downtown, so no, this is my last stay at this location.

Loved the free games in the front room, and the pool was great! A perfect "staycation" with our pup and toddler! Beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the late check out time of 12pm is so helpful when you're juggling a family!

Great property. We were 2 families returning from OBX vacation. It was nice to have fresh hot showers. The adults had a cocktail at the bar while the teens played pool. The pool & exercise room we’re utilized also. It was quiet, easy parking & the staff was courteous. Ashton took good care of us & everyone else checking in.

My overall stay was pleasant. My only issue was shuttle service. After two times confirming my time for pick up (3AM) and shuttle service, because my flight was departing at 5 AM. I was disappointed. No one was there at the front desk. After waiting 10 minutes, I saw someone sitting in their car out front of the hotel on their phone. She got out of the car and I ask if they worked there, and she replied yes. I explained my issue and she said that no one gets a shuttle until 4:00 AM because the airport doesn't open until 4 AM. She then called the other location after I complained, and someone came and picked me up. That was a little frustrating.

It was a nice property and rooms, and the staff was excellent. However, the television did not work well. It would disconnect every 10.minutes for 5-10 minutes. On the last night there, our cars were broken into. Police never showed up. Again, staff was fantastic throughout

The room was clean. The shower was great. The bar was loud. The restaurant was not ready to be open and serving. It took almost 2 hours to get our food and since they had a new menu, multiple things were not available. The bar/server was not communicative. I felt bad for the only person in the kitchen. The pool was closed down due to maintenance. Although it's a nice hotel I wouldn't stay here again. You could hear every door open and close, all hours of the night.

We had a great stay overall! The room was on the smaller side, but it was very clean and well-kept, which we appreciated. What really stood out was the excellent customer service the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. They even had fun Halloween events going on, which added a festive and enjoyable touch. We loved that! The only thing we would have changed is getting a larger room, but aside from that, everything else was fantastic. Would definitely consider staying again!

Room was humid with a musty, moldy smell upon entering. I later discovered that this was because the AC was malfunctioning and would randomly turn off. There as a note on the table warning that organized crime thieves are targeting the parking lot and that the hotel is not responsible for damages. Room was filthy. Windows covered in grime. There was a leak around the toilet AND around the sink faucet. The toiletries next to the sink were soaking in a water puddle and therefore unusable. The bathroom floor had a huge water puddle as well. There was about a 6 inch strip of seal missing at the base of the shower door. The final straw was, there was no hot water during my stay, which meant I could not shower. When I reported this (and the other issues) to the front desk attendant, the response was “yeah we’re having water issues.” That was it.

While we enjoyed how conveniently located this hotel was and the friendliness of their staff at check-in, our experience was tainted by a loud knock on our door the second night of our stay at 11:55pm from a food delivery person who had the wrong room number. I would have preferred to be awaken by a call from front desk asking us if we ordered food (even though we did not) than a knock on the door late at night. I’m sure the people also sleeping in the rooms close by would have been grateful of such call, as well.

This hotel was great! No complaints about neighbors or anything! The only thing i would like to point out is the very thin pillows. An upgrade to full, fluffy pillows would be nice. Also, the room had everything EXCEPT a microwave.. and the fridge was quite small and underneath the sink of all place.

Not pleased at all with the check-in. When I arrived, I stood there for a few minutes. There was a couple who came in after I was standing there and the clerk checked them in before she acknowledged me standing right in front of her. She then informed me that the gentleman was there before I walked in. If that was really the case, they wouldn’t have gone through the entire process as if he had initially arrived. Had I not already paid for my room online, I would’ve cancelled on the spot. I can assure you that we won’t be booking her again.

I was traveling with my teenage son. I had an event to attend that was nearby the hotel that started at 3 PM. My check in time was supposed to be 3 PM, so it should’ve been an easy transition. However, my room was not ready for over an hour due to Other guest being allowed to check out late, coupled with the fact that they were short on housekeeping staff. It was very uncomfortable for me to have to leave my teenage son there without knowing that our room was secure. Wow, one of the ladies at the front desk was apologetic and offered us a $10 coupon for food, the other one was Not concerned about our situation at all. In fact, she acted as if she was completely unbothered and had no consideration at all. It made for a pretty uncomfortable stay and a $10 coupon was not near good enough compensation for what we experienced.

Hotel is clean. Staff is mixed nice and dismissive depending on who is serving you. Lack of house keeping (Apparently you need to request). Ok location close to airport but nothing else is around re dining

I was able to stay at the same hotel as my friend. Not too far from the highway which is perfect because I drove to the city but also right by the airport which was nice because she flew in. The hotel is beautiful, clean and the staff were all extremely friendly. Def would recommend and stay here again.

Great location near the airport, 20 min drive to downtown Raleigh. Very clean and nice hotel if you need to be near the airport. Only complaint is the airport shuttle only leaves on the hour which can be a pain b/c you are either barely on time or way early for your flight. This should be changed to at least every 30 mins as it is only a 10 to 12 min drive especially during the early morning. Seem like a small grip but for a 6:40 am flight you have to get a 5 am shuttle for an airport that is less than 10 mins away..

Dining
Bar drinks and casual bites are well-liked and serve late, but on-site food and breakfast feel limited or inconsistent, with occasional closures and long waits. Expect basics rather than a full restaurant experience.

First, the hotel decor is LOVELY. 2nd, the bar serves food until 10pm and that's SO convenient. MOST IMPORTANT, the shuttle service is Epic.

I must admit being disappointed at first as there is a college "dorm" feel to the rooms but it was really quite nice. The only real disappointment to us was the extreme lack of menu choices. No veggies, no salads, etc. There is no proper "restaurant" and a very small bar where you can choose from a super small selection. Only one dinner plant based option. That being said, the gym is great. Beds are fantastic!!!!! Super clean and the people are very nice.

I always stay here when I am in the area, everyone is friendly. I typically sit at the bar for dinner and a drink but the bar was closed (bar tender had to leave early) - so I poked around the convenience cases and really didn't find what I wanted. My feedback is not a comment about the bar tender but about the limited choices in the convenience case) I walked over to the Hyatt house and found better choices. Also there was a huge palmetto bug in my room - it crawled under the night stand and I was unable to get it. I think they recently sprayed for bugs and it founc it's way in

It was convenient to stay there if you’re flying out of RDU , the bartender was fun, informative and attentive, The food was great and nice choices. The room was cozy, clean and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint was other people’s noise in the halls or when their doors shut they were loud. I’d definitely stay again! My daughter and I enjoyed it and it was a good choice for our last night to visit before I flew out on a terribly early flight.
