Staybridge Hotel in Albany (Colonie) had a beautiful facility (great breakfast area, outside fire pit and grills, workout room, pool with hot tub) and the most amazing breakfast I have seen in a hotel. We stayed in a two bedroom unit that included a small kitchen and seating area, perfect for the three adults and three children in our group. Very comfortable beds, two spacious bathrooms. Staff were efficient, polite, and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 1night as a family of 5 with 2 toddlers. Room was big enough to accommodate all of us. Bathroom was a little tight. Other than that l, everything was fine. Kitchen was packed with essentials for someone that was staying a couple of days and a full fridge. Location is right next to mall and there are a lot of chain restaurant as well as a traders Joe within walking distance. Finally the main reason to book our stay was the pool. Nice large size. Hotel has a half size basketball court which my oldest enjoyed.

The beds are uncomfortable. The pool and hot tub were over chlorinated. The pool could also use some sound proofing on the walls. Other than that, the hotel was wonderful. Rooms were clean, quiet and had everything we needed. Staff was helpful

This property has a great location and offered quite a few amenities. It took a while to check in and there are other tasks of the front desk like running a store off to the side which added time to the wait. While there we went to the pool/spa. The spa was the reason we chose the hotel to begin with. The water was cloudy and had an odor. My husband told me not to worry. While in we were there with people who were in days prior and alerted staff as the water was out of the norm. We went to the pool to get the spa water off from us immediately. While we were in the pool the spa water was tested and the entire spa was then emptied and refilled. We were very uneasy knowing the water was that bad it needed to be cleared all together. Back at our room we made sure to clean off well along with washing our swimsuits this added step held up our evening plans. Our room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable, ample towels and dove products in the rooms.

Love Staybridge on Wolf Road! I didn't need to rent a car! Shuttle service was excellent and on demand. I could walk to Trader Joe's and Mall. Rooms were good size with full kitchen. I had lovely hot and varied breakfast each morning. Also had their wonderful meals on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening. I will be back!

Nice lobby, great breakfast, rooms are nice. Music in hallways & elevator was very nice. Fragrance in the air was pleasant. One area of improvement suggested, bathroom shower floor had a lot of yellow stains in corners, outside of toilet on floor was not perfectly clean.

Our room was upgraded from a king studio to a king suite which was really nice! The shower had someone else's hair in it though. Also, the hot tub was gross and had a build of of nasty stuff in it. The service was great and the room was nice.

When I arrived, I expected a room as shown in the online photos. Instead I had a room with fingerprints all over th walls, old dirty and sticky carpeting, hair on the bathroom floor and dirty tiling, redisue in the tub, ice-maker broken, cobwebs in the corners of the walls, TV remote dirty and missing the batter closure cover. Overall, the room was simply GROSS. the Manager offered no compensation.

This was my second time staying here. I will keep coming back, as my daughters go to school in the area. I really like the homestyle feel of the rooms. My only complaint is that the bathroom is cramped. This is a design flaw. The hotel is just across from Colonie Center which includes a mall, Macy's and Whole Foods.

I really liked the suite with a full-sized fridge, microwave, and stovetop. It made us feel a little more "at home" to be able to prepare a few meals in the room. There were lots of seating options and the bed was pretty comfy, for not being my bed. Staff was super friendly. All areas were very clean.

On the plus side the room was clean and the breakfast was truly outstanding with fresh fruit and a complete buffet. On the cons the room layout is inconvenient. The bathroom sink is located outside the toilet and shower area so if you need to get a drink at night you will disturb a sleeping roommate. Also the toilet and shower area is so small you can’t turn around once the door is closed. Plus the door barely clears the toilet making you a contortionist when trying to close it. Add to the list that our toilet didn’t flush and the TV didn’t work properly. Final analysis: place is fairly new and clean breakfast is excellent but room for improvement.

The hotel was overbooked and we were told on the day of arrival that they will transfer us to another hotel nearby. The other hotel has only one room available for us. The room smells strongly of smoke and both my kids have asthma. After a few hours of trying and arguing, we were transferred to a clean-aired smaller room. It was not a pleasant experience. I should have a plan B before booking staybridge.

They honestly can’t seem to handle reservations through HOTELS.com. They kept charging my card and then saying it wouldn’t go through and they charges the hold for incidentals twice. Breakfast want that good either. Plentiful but not good. I asked for feather free pillows before we arrived and they acted like I asked for their first born when I had to ask again after we arrived.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay when you move to a new location before looking for a place to stay in Albany, NY. It’s conveniently located near the airport, highways 87 and 90, and downtown Albany. The breakfast is excellent ! Best Coffee especially dark roast and tea available 24/7. I highly recommend staying in this hotel. It’s also close to Regal Cinema, Indian grocery, and the CrossFit mall. The location is beautiful!

This is located in a very convenient spot. There is a Trader Joe's within walking distance as well as the mall which is a bit farther with a Whole Foods and other amenities, but still within walking distance. Breakfast was available every morning and some week day nights they had "social"hours with free food. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Stayed for Christmas and a few days after. Beautiful roaring fire, social hour served delicious food, and drinks. The included breakfast was surprisingly good. Staff was friendly, and accommodating. Property is dog friendly.

It was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was immaculate and had everything I needed. The common areas were also well-maintained and inviting. When we checked in, we were told the pool was closed until the following day. Then when we went downstairs, they told us wait. The pool is open, but the hot tub is closed. The whole time that we would be there. Then we were told that there was very few gluten-free options with breakfast and they would be coming the following morning or later that afternoon. There were no more gluten-free options even the next day for breakfast, and it was very disappointing because it’s some thing that the assistant manager even told us would be brought to our room. When I was checking out, the gentleman that was helping me said that he heard that being said as well. My gluten free needs are of necessity. We went to get something from on the floor and there was food that was hard and left from somebody else’s day. There were also pieces of things throughout the carpeting. We were told that we couldn’t get anything taken off of our stay because we booked through a third-party website. However, we were supposed to get points put on our account and I have not seen them yet. When we went down for breakfast, there were tables left, but they were dirty, and it was hard to find any place to sit where there wasn’t something dirty. Even the seats have leftover food on them.
