MainStay Suites Grand Island draws consistent praise for clean, spacious suites with kitchenettes and friendly front desk service, though multiple reviews note a basic, sugar-heavy breakfast that often lacks hot or protein options.

Guests like the quiet setting and value, plus easy access to highways, restaurants, and shopping. We chose to upgrade to a king suite which was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was lacking, no hot food options other than waffles. Workout room was also lacking. Overall we had a very comfortable stay.

I liked how the property was in a safe, quiet place slightly away from the main road. I also enjoyed the cleanliness of the property. One thing that I believe could be improved would be the parking lot. There aren't many parking spots in front of the hotel, which makes it more challenging to haul in luggage.

They charge an undisclosed incidental fee of $15. I do not recommend this hotel. Noisy. You hear all the rooms around you. Cheap bathrooms. They are remodeling and it is a mess.

Lots of construction going on. Drive up check in has no turn around. Not much for shampoo and soap in room. Not many channels on tv and tv too small. Plus side staff friendly and hotel clean.

Parking lot seems to be small and also the room had some kind of weird smell. Besides that, I liked the room kitchen and bathroom. However the sink in the bathroom was too slow while draining down. Overall, it’s nice to stay and would be better if that smell gets off!

My only complaint is the absence of shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. When we inquired about this, the staff member gave us a bottle of "conditioning shampoo." Anyone with long hair knows this isn\'t the same as shampoo AND conditioner. Still, I am a repeat customer. This is a clean facility, with a variety of room sizes and configurations, and they provide everything else, including dishwasher pods and access to pots and pans and blenders.😆 None of which I needed, but still. It isn\'t walking distance to anything, but you can quickly access anywhere in GI from Locust St.

Wow what a greqt room and for cheap, ive paid over 200 dollars at other hadji run hotels that were disgusting and this one was 100 and was near perfection. Only thing wrong and its not a big deal was on the edge if the comforter was a little patch of dried blood, it was faded like its been washed alot but still wont come out, maybe use more bleach but ither than that it was perfect, i mean for 100 dollars and the room had a small couch that coukd be folded out and it had plates and coffee cups and drink glasses and everything you needed if u were to cook a meal oh and a stove and a full size fridge, just a great place to stay, the room smelled nice and was clean, the shower was nice, their was a party of bikers next to me but i didnt hear a thing, very well insulated

Room on third floor was quiet, clean and mostly comfortable. Our family of six necessitated two in each bed. My daughter and I slept on the hide a bed couch and it wasnt the most comfortable but it was ok. The tub had an ugly stain in the bottom, but was otherwise clean. There were only three towels in the bathroom, so we had to ask for more at the front desk. Kitchen was clean although we really didnt use it, just the fridge. Breakfast was good, the only hot thing was the make your own waffles, but that was good enough for us. Decor in room was very dated and somewhat worn, but not a real problem for us. It was definitely a good value.

The room, and the stay was average, the breakfast was very disappointing. There was no sausage, no eggs, no bacon, no biscuits and gravy. Only problem we had was the so called contenial breakfast. It was all sugar!!!! For a diabetic it was bad. It had peanut butter, jelly, butter and honey but no toaster and no bread. It had danish, sugar filled cereal and oatmeal and muffins. It should have had bagels and cream cheese. Some fruit At the the coffee could have been hot. It was very disappointing. We could eat any of it so we had to spend 24.00 to go out to eat when we didn’t plan it

It was a very rundown hotel, especially for the price! The tub was rusted, the dishes were dirty, and they don't even offer cribs/pack n plays. The breakfast was an absolute joke!
