A good stay, nice size room and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking and not too noisy for the proximity to the road. A shout out and recommendation for Kevin's corner Irish pub, a five minute walk away and excellent drinks and food (pub food). The owner Kevin was a delight. Breakfast back at the Circle lacked variety but was adequate.

Great location for visiting the sites we wanted to see in the area. The pool is clean and large and was great after a hot day of touring. Very close to the beach and the staff kindly provided a pass so we didn’t have to pay for beach parking.

Beautiful grounds, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast and pool area has great seating. We used the beach pass which they let you rent out for 6 hours per day which saved us $40 a day in parking at the beach.

Rusty towel shelf and shower curtain without magnets at base to keep curtain from flying inward during shower. “Breakfast” is more continental…nothing hot except the waffle you make. Great location, but only an outdoor pool and a foosball table for amenities. Did appreciate the water provided.

In town one night for concert. Happy with everything except the fact that there was no elevator that we could see. We had to carry our suitcases up 2 flights of outside steps. Also, only a ROKU tv in room which means no channels unless you login to your personal accounts like netflix etc. on this public tv which we absolutely were not doing.

It stated it was a coastal hotel. The welcome area was the only part of the hotel that matched the online pictures. There was no privacy and to top it off the one bed was dirty. We pulled the covers down and there were strands of hair on the sheets.

Nice stay for 2 weeks in a x2 double bed with kitchenette. Although small kitchen. Had exactly what was required. Microwave over, sink, fridge freezer and a small hob. Decent size bathroom with walk in shower. Room cleaned every 2-3 days to a good standard with fresh towels and linen.

Overall, the stay was fine. The rooms were clean and bright. Unfortunately, we had a few baby roaches in our bathroom. We were there for our daughter's wedding and the hotel clerks at check in/out were very friendly.

TV did not work and needed to be reset by the staff. Ants in the bathroom. Stains on pillows and pillowcases. More than usual dust and dirt on carpet. This hotel seems to have high ratings. Not sure if those are associated with the summer season but with the pool closed and no local beaches open, the price to stay one night did not seem in-line with winter/early-spring time bookings

I like the check-in process. All handled over the phone. Very convenient. The room was clean but the bed was hard and the bed only had 2 sheets and 1 thin blanket. Also they have bright lights on outside the hotel all night and the light was coming in around the shade so did not have a good night's sleep. The room felt very minimalist too. 1 Chair,1 Desk and 1 small refrigerator. Only 1 night stand for 2 beds (a second night stand would be helpful) and 3 lamps. Another chair and another night stand would be more comparable to a standard hotel room. On the positive side the room and bathroom were clean and even though the hotel is near a highway it wasnt too noisy at night or in the morning. The hotel also felt safe.

This hotel is outdated in so many ways. it is clean and the staff is lovely. The shower is the absolute worst I have ever had....hot, cold, hot cold, on, off, drip, etc etc. A few upgrades and it would be a great place. It was fine for the one night I stayed for a family event.

On our second day staying there, our code to enter our room wasn\'t working. I went to the front desk, both ladies were busy so I waited. I let the lady know that about the code. I showed her the message with the room number and code. She said that our stay was only for 1 night. I showed her the Expedia reservation with a paid 2 night stay. She couldn\'t care less, she was acting like a robot just saying "you need to call expedia and if you want to stay another night you need to pay here again". I told her my glasses and phone charger were in the room. She haven\'t finishing with me and she started answering other phone calls. She was just awful, she didn\'t want to hear anything or either take a look at my original reservation. She did NOTHING to solve the problem. After 30/40 minutes she printed a new code valid for 1 hour to enter the room and get my stuff. The new code wasn\'t working, and when I took a closer look, she put room 60 instead of 16. I went back to the front desk and told her about the room number. She laughed and gave me a new code. When I asked her why the first code wasn\'t working anymore, she said the the person that did the check in made a mistake and made it valid only for one night... guess what? SHE was the person that made the check in the day before! And after all this, she didn\'t even apologize.

Had a post surgery stay with our son, which was an emergency. After travelling hours on a red eye flight, James at the front desk made our stay that much more enjoyable. He got us an accessible room, early check in, late check out and helped us out in countless other ways. This place is great if staying in Fairfield. We love The Circle and it's location and staff, and especially James! Top Notch!

This is my Go-To / First Choice when visiting the Fairfield area. Rooms are always clean & immaculate + very comfy bed, great towels, good size room...and traveling alone I feel safe! Staff is so welcoming and extra helpful. Keep it up.

Stain on bed, shower does not drain, rude apathetic staff, cleaning staff peeking in window 1.5 hours before check out is absolutely unacceptable, rude and an invasion of our privacy. No effort what so ever to rectify the matter nor any effort to accommodate a 15 min early check in. I’m not referring to 1-2 hours earlier, it was literally 15 min with attitude from the most apathetic young male host. They monopolize on being unaccommodating and apathetic as they are one of the few hotels close to SHU.

We stayed at this property when we visited Fairfield University. The property was clean and in a great location. The property rents their lobby to the Fairfield Comedy Club and since we were relaxing in the lobby we decided to attend the event. We paid $30 a person and attended the show. There were many different comics. Some were funny, some were very offensive (making fun of intellectually disabled people) it is what it is. When the show ended the comedians clean up the lobby and get it back to how it was prior to their makeshift club. My husband and I decided to stay in the lobby and sat on the high top tables that were not moved. We were sitting there minding our own business and one of the comedians approached us and demanded we leave and then threatened to call the police on us. We were doing absolutely NOTHING and according to hotel staff the lobby is open 24/7. This was very traumatizing and upsetting. Then other comedians come over and threatened to throw us out, we reminded them we were staying at the hotel but we did leave and return to our room because we did not want any more conflict and were actually frightened. In the morning we talked with the morning desk staff and they apologized and understood that it must have been an awful experience. Needless to say we were angry that we paid for the show and the hotel and were treated like this. I would not recommend this hotel and will never stay here again!!!!!!!

We were on a quick tour of UConn and Fairfield U and the Circle was an affordable option away from highways and near the water. Had great pizza nearby at Zepes Hotel was clean and quiet and had decent breakfast- a good value considering Memorial Day weekend. Staff was friendly too. Thank you.

Hotel looks newly decorated, very clean and bright. Lobby breakfast is the usual self serve cereal, toast, waffles etc. Associated Diner next door very good, despite being a very traditional "diner" which sounds (and looks) quite downmarket, the food is absolutely delicious, and a good selection.

Cute little hotel/ motel. Clean, comfortable and safe. Not a lot of options at the free breakfast - but it was free! It looked like it had been recently renovated, the decor looked new. We were in town to tour Fairfield University. This was a close, affordable accommodations option. If we end up at the university, this will definitely be our go-to choice when visiting!

Check in was difficult. I did self check in and the person at the front desk said i shoukd gave recieved an email.... almost "insisted". I had not. I did recieve an email at 3:38pm. 38 minutes after their check in time of 3:00. Breakfast was sub par, with nothing warm other than make your own waffles. They clean the rooms ever 3 nights. So, for $200 for the room on saturday night (our 2nd night) no water and no additional coffee supplies. I had to unplug the clock in order to have an outlet to charge my phone. The decor was nice, the beds were comfortable and the room was not spotless but clean.

Very nice hotel in Fairfield. We loved the room with pool view. Pool area wonderful. Breakfast was the only thing which could be improved. Very limited choises and weird tabels which was too high to sit around. We will come back next time we are in the area.
