This property is quite run down. They claim to offer hair dryers in every room but mine didnt have one and they didnt have one to offer so i had to buy one for my week stay. The sink and bathtub were both stopped up so i just bought some drano while i was at the store also to take care of that. When they cleaned the room, they had to have seen that it was clogged so it bothered me they didn't take care of it before assigning it to a guest. The bed was not comfortable so i had to go buy a foam topper to not make my back go out. It was raining the week i was here so every day i got back to the room with the exception of one, i found a few little baby roaches running around including one in the microwave and one in the refrigerator. I'm from Texas so i know this wasn't necessarily the fault of the property, but figured i'd mention it for those who dont know how it gets down here. Overall it was an adequate stay for the price, but definitely needs to have improvements made to deserve a better rating.

They have repainted hallways and updated air conditioning which is a plus, but TVs and remote issues and bath tub not draining is a huge issue with everyone else’s stuff getting on you like buggers and hair is not pleasant.still mold in the restrooms. I will probably not stay again until it’s renovated.

The pictures do not match the the hotel. The hallways was nasty and dirty old carpet. Elevator was making scary noises. And was dirty. Behind the hotel there is a construction site. Was so noise. You could hear everything! Didn’t feel safe there

Tv didn’t work the whole stay, and no one there knew how to fix a tv. The floors stuck to your shoes, and the only thing that really made us try to tough it out was the stove, which also didn’t work. Save your money, go somewhere else

Horrible. Mold. Water everywhere from shower. Cracks in walls covered by painters tape, then not painted. Filthy. Went in to room and immediately checked out. Took video to show them downstairs he said room is perfect and wouldn’t watch.

I like the staff, very nice and humble… the infestation of cockroaches, bathroom was filled with roaches scattering for cover as soon as I opened the bathroom door. The hotel is nice, the service is great. The owner needs to shut down the place for at least 2 weeks and get to work on those roaches..

Check in was fone but room was nasty. Floor was not clean, bed had what appeared to have several little curley hairs in it and bathroom look like it had never been clean.

We had a problem when checking in, the room we got had an unmade bed and there was trash in the kitchen plus leftover items in the fridge, we were quickly moved to a different room thankfully.

The rooms were shockingly dirty - bed linen clearly had not been changed (crumbs and hair in beds and disgusting smelling linen, beds were remade with existing linen prior to us leaving - we assume for the next guest). A shame since rooms were spacious, good breakfast and decent price.

The manager is great, and so was the front desk person. They were very sympathetic to what we experienced and refunded our stay. The room was dirty and there was a razor blade in the bed. I understand is under management and renovation and they’re definitely trying their best. But unfortunately, for this day, their best wasn’t good enough by far cry.

I travel long distance to visit family often in Kenedy and I ALWAYS stay here, the other hotels in Kenedy aren’t clean, this super 8 is very nice and I really appreciate the lady that works on the weekend, she was so sweet! My 12 year old forgot his phone in the room after checkout and she saved his phone for him! I’ll be back soon :)
