Nice modern boutique hotel. Good location along the promenade and easy parking just behind the hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped. I asked the hotel to change the room type ahead of my stay and even though they were nearly fully booked they accommodated my request which was very much appreciated. I found the staff very friendly and hospitable.

The hotel is only 2 years old. The finish was excellent. The beds were comfortable, and the towels and other items were very high quality. The location is great for walking along the seafront. The free parking is just behind the hotel. The restaurant has EXCELLENT food. The breakfasts are luxurious and very generous. We stayed for a week and had 2 rooms. The staff were great. The gym is also well equipped and hardly ever used. We would stay again!

Our stay in The Grand Hotel Kalamata was perfect. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived and shown the hotel's car park nearby. Our room was very spacious and had a separate sitting area as well as 2 bathrooms (No. 210). The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms had a full range of amenities. All the rooms were spotless and decorated to a high quality. The public areas of the hotel were beautifully decorated and there were lots of seating options for meals. There was a wide range at breakfast and it was plentiful. We also ate dinner on one occasion in the hotel's restaurant. All the meals were very high quality and delicious. The staff were superb. They always greeted us with a smile and were friendly, helpful and efficient. We highly recommend The Grand Hotel Kalamata and plan to stay here again next time we are in Greece.

Wonderful brand new state of the art hotel . Located directly on the beach with exceptional eateries in the area. However I don’t want to diminish the Grands epicurean delights at all. Demetri, Victoria , breakfast staff simply tremendous.. Hotel provides easy secure parking and unparalleled service not to mention the Guy LaRoche towels

Grand is Grand in all aspects Perfect location to get up and go to local beaches or other beaches within the area The hotel itself is excellent We had the suite facing the harbour Clean well sized room. Bathroom well sized, water pressure a bit on the low size Breakfast fantastic and the service was superb Also had dinner there one night outdoors across the street the food was excellent , same staff from breakfast and they were still working hard with a smile. Excellent lobby area if you simply want to sit Ample parking and if their lot is full simply give them the keys as they will double park in their lot and move cars around. Overall o would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel. I debated whether to give 4 or 5 stars. There are a couple of quirky things though: 1) When turning out the lights at night in the room, it’s like lighting up a Christmas tree - everything has blue, red or green lights — the TV, the phone, the thermostat, the CO2 detector, the huge EXIT sign above the door…bring an eye mask! 2) Even though there is a thermostat in the room, it is not controlled by the guest…after several hours of attempting to set the thermostat, we went to the front desk to tell them that we prefer not to sleep in a sauna. 3) The shower floor is very slippery and the hot water is inconsistent. Other than a few quirky things, the hotel is nice and the breakfast is lovely. Great location.

This is a fantastic hotel with extremely helpful and professional staff. The ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to help us get our delayed suitcase. The food was great and so was the service. The hotel room was extremely clean and comfortable.

This hotel exceeded expectations for an independent operator. Staff throughout were very welcoming at every point. The rooms were stylish and very clean! The amenities were high class including a nice Parlux hair dryer, Ferragamo toiletries and a TV with a mix of channels in English. Wifi also worked a treat! Breakfast was tasty and I had the best latte here in Europe so far! Only feedback is to fix the shower drains, as the water floods very easily into the bathroom.

Nice property. Excellent staff. Free parking nearby was a plus. I nonetheless disagree with the 5 star rating. No operating phone service (I needed to speak with a local) for the entire 36 hour stay . We also had no working television or ac/heat upon arrival. The hotel , however was very responsive when informed. I would stay again but would check before stay to make sure everything works.

Brand new hotel. Very nice. "City view" rooms are more alley. But brand new and very nice. Great loukamadas in the square to the left and a faboulous local place to walk to well Taverena Katofli!! All the locals go, easy walk and excellent.

The property is excellently located with views of sea and mountains and walking distance to beach. Everything appeared clean , fresh and new. The one weakness is the quality of staff operating food and drink service. Some of them are simply not trained effectively often not understanding the order. Could be language skills. Advise on more robust training. But enjoyed our stay and certainly value for money.

Hotel is brand new being in business since last year. Hotel is smack right in front of the sea with the most amazing view. You can eat or have a cocktail right in front of the sea. Definitely would revisit!

A beautiful hotel right on the esplanade where there are plenty of restaurants cafes ect. Rooms are very spacious. Housekeeping was good and the staff at reception and at the eating section where wonderful. Morning breakfast which was ala carte was amazing and plenty to have. The city centre is a comfortable 20min walk or you can catch a cab. There are plenty of stores and eateries there. We had a great time here and highly recommend this hotel.
