Obwohl das Hotel auf dieses Jahr deutlich teurere geworden ist, sind die meisten Indikatoren/Leistungen gleich geblieben oder leicht schlechter geworden. Auf den ersten Blick schien alles wie letztes Jahr, dann sahen wir kleine Details, die schlechter wurden. Immerhin ist der Spa-Bereich wieder zugänglich, der Gym-Bereich ist jedoch kaum mehr nutzbar. An alle noch die Info: die Ipanema-Beach-Bar ist bei unserem Besuch im Oktober jeweils geschlossen.

What a great hotel and offering, beautiful inviting lobby. Loved both the pool and the easy access across the path to beach lounges if desired (other hotels along the beachfront we observed required crossing the busy road to get to beach). Staff were obliging, great breakfast offering, easy, large and free onsite parking. Rooms and shower pressure great however shower over bath does not have curtain which we found a little messy and would encourage the hotel to address this feature. Wifi excellent in the room but average elsewhere. Would definitely stay again and longer!

This property is a prime example of the saying You can put lipstick on a pig…but the pig still remains a pig. Rooms have not been updated in over 30 years Property needs major overhaul. The ipanima beach bar was slated for demolition by local authorities last fall. No one knows how it’s still standing. The board walk and walkways are all deteriorated with rotten boards, open voids and nails protruding

Nice property with lots of parking and a gated, guarded entry. Nice pool and expansive beachfront area. Food was okay and breakfast buffet is included. Negatives are that although the rooms are good sized they are dated. The bath tub doesn’t have a shower curtain. There is also not a non-slip bath mat which caused me to slip and fall while trying to dry the wet floor after showering. Thankfully I didn’t seriously hurt myself. Also, I felt that as a single woman traveling alone that I was overlooked, ignored numerous times in the restaurants.

Nice resort - good breakfast and loved the kids corner afternoon lunch included. The Greco land for kids was also awesome as we have a 2 year old that was missing daycare. Nice pools and beaches! Take note daily cleaning would pass early so make sure to put your do not disturb signs also chairs fill up quickly but people tend to be considerate and move around when not there! However I do feel they can add a few more and some more umbrellas in the kids pool area

The rooms are clean and comfortable - the only downsides are: no tea/coffee making facilities (a uniquely British woe!), the lack of a shower curtain, meaning the bathroom gets soaked, and the rooms appear to lack soundproofing as you can easily hear your neighbours / doors closing and opening at all hours. I don’t think the other guests were particularly noisy, just the rooms are a bit old. On the positive side, a lovely pool area and a nice area of the beach is private with good umbrellas and loungers. The breakfast is of a very good standard with plenty of choices. We’d be happy to stay again as the price was very fair.

Property is very dated and tired. There are no curtains or screens for the showers so the bathroom floods. Breakfast was adequate but fake orange juice and weak coffee. It's right by the beach which is lovely and the pool area is nice but imagine very crowded when the hotel is full. Gym is small but a few pieces of equipment.

Eerlijk gezegd vind ik het hotel heel erg gedateerd en dat het aan een flinke renovatie toe is. Beschadigde tegels op de vloeren, scheuren in plafonds. Beschadigingen op meubels en deuren. Slechte opknappogingen bij bijvoorbeeld het bad. Lastdieren schuiven moeilijk open. Het beste aan het hotel vind ik de locatie direct aan zee, de aangrenzende binnentuin en uitzicht op de zee en de bergen.

Very clean and beautiful grounds and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The sea views were amazing and the water was very clean. The only downside was the beach in front of the hotel is a bit stony and was difficult to get in and out of the water.

We received a room that does not match in any way what I ordered and what the hotel advertises in the pictures. Rather, we got a room unfit for habitation: on the corner, near service door, service rooms, service elevator and warehouse. In the morning we woke up to the noise of the hotel staff. In the room itself, the furniture is nasty, broken and impossible to clean because of the rough surfaces. A terrible smell of mold and a feeling of dampness. In the bathroom there is a bathtub that cannot be filled, a broken shower head, so it works in one mode of 3 water streams without enough water pressure. We asked to change the room but were refused on the grounds that there were no available rooms. In the inspection we carried out it became clear that there are empty rooms.

This hotel is beyond average for the price. It has the feel of a Mexican or Caribbean all-inclusive. The rooms including the beds are tired and in need of a major facelift. The staff are plenty yet it takes forever for anything to happen. Despite a prepaid room, check in and check out, both processes were painfully slow. And beware if you book a family room via Expedia as they will charge you double the amount for the “room tax” even though your Expedia bill says otherwise. Overall, we expected much more than we received.

We had an amazing three day stay at Filoxenia last week! The service was second to none! Everyone from the front desk, maids, wait staff were exceptional. Big shout out to Service Manager Adonis and his dedicated staff! Superstars! Adonis made sure we had a gluten free breakfast package for our 6:00 am checkout as we had to catch an early flight! Really above and beyond! Highly recommend! We will definitely be back! Yasas!

Το πρωινό τραγικό ούτε σε ξενοδοχείο 2 ** δεν υπάρχει τόσο φτωχό πρωινό. Τα γευματα επίσης πολύ φτωχα και κάθε ημέρα επαναλαμβάνονταν τα ίδια. Το προσωπικό ήταν φιλικό είχε τη διάθεση να εξυπηρετήσει, αλλά ήταν εντελώς ανοργάνωτο. Σε καμία περίπτωση το ξενοδοχείο δεν ανταποκρίνεται στη χρέωση των χρημάτων που χρεώνει για κάθε διανυκτέρευση, είναι πραγματικά υπερβολικό. Σε καμία περίπτωση δεν θα το συνιστούσα για διαμονή.

Καταπληκτικό πρωσωπικο. Ωραία τοποθεσία. Κοντά στη Καλαμάτα. Αλλά το φαγητό του ξενοδοχείο ειδικά το μεσημεριανό μενού, ήταν ότι χειρότερο έχω φαι με ελάχιστες επιλογές, ανεβασμένες τιμές αλλά χαμηλή ποιότητα δυστυχως.
