Check-in went smoothly. All of the staff members I encountered—whether directly or indirectly—were friendly, helpful, professional, and always had a smile, from the front desk to housekeeping, the bartender, management, and breakfast staff. The hot tub was great, and the lobby/bar area was clean, inviting, and nicely maintained. My room was clean and overall decent. The only downside was the bed, which was much too firm for my comfort.

My boys and I really liked this property. The staff was very helpful. Our room and common areas were clean and well maintained. The only issue was the elevator was not always working. The location is great, close to lots of great eats.

The staff was great. Hidden fees for parking, online says free breakfast which it does not have. Over priced. $8 for a beer, $20 for breakfast. Total cost is really about $300 a night to sleep next to a freeway.

Hotel itself is nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are a little too firm for my liking and the pillows are flat. Our room was situated on the side of the hotel that faces the freeway so, it was a bit noisy at night. Had I known this was where our room was, I would have changed it. Parking was a bit difficult to find because there are 3 properties that share the same parking lot. There is security in the lot so, your car is safe. Overall not a bad stay.

We had to change rooms because when we got to the first room, we noticed one of the beds had red lipstick on the top comforter. The bed had also looked undone, like it hadnt been made and possibly still dirty. The ice machine on this floor also did not work. The bathroom also didn't seem clean at all. There wasn't any hand soap either. We called and requested a different room and they grantes us our request. Other than apologizing, they did not offer anything for the inconvenience. No upgrades, nothing.

Rooms are good, but definitely needs maintenance. Shower head was disgusting, black mold under shower shelves ,linen looked like someone had bleed on it and it wasnt washed..

Mislead by booking . Breakfast was not included. Bed was squeaky and uncomfortable . Linens smelled like strong scent of bleach and were also stained. Shower was dirty. Floor was not vacuumed. Bathroom sink kept clogging. Sounding like water dripping from upstairs all night. Air didn’t blow cold.

I liked it was close to food, beaches and the highway. I didnt like that i found what looked like a flea in my bed, and got home and gound many bite marks on my body. Also we asked for room service since we stayed for one night and we did not get it. I had to go ask for clean towels and took the trash out myself because room service never came.

The hotel was clean but the room options are either heat traffic on the 405 on one side, or hear train whistles on the other side. I could not close the blackout curtain in my room because the pull bar was broken off. The cover for the AC control was also broken.

Honestly, it wasn't worth $328 for a night. I think the hotel is just average. After paying for the room, you still get charged for the car space, you pay for literally every other thing. The TV is just available for you to connect to your phone or laptop. The drawers are old, the AC and refrigerator had the noise, it was very uncomfortable. I went with a toddler but she couldn't sleep cos of the noises. I will rate it a 3.5

The view from my room was the 405 freeway. Constant noise. The air-conditioning unit must have been replaced at some point, and the wall controller was no longer connected to it. I spent two plus hours trying to stop the cold air. I did finally check the air-conditioner and was able to shut it off eventually, but then you hear the freeway noise. How about a sign on the nonfunctioning wall controller?

The staff is amazing! Especially the breakfast crew. Not amazing: that you had 1 elevator down and 1 BARELY working and didn’t notify us as you were checking us in to our 3rd floor room. We had to search for staff to find out what was going on with the elevator. ALSO NOT amazing was the alarm system testing that was going on while we were trying to catch up on sleep. Something we also were not notified about at check in. Oh another thing not notified about at checking in was that the breakfast required vouchers so we had to do our own searching to figure that part out so So maybe a better informed front desk..

Plenty of parking with all night security in the parking lot. Paid an extra $5 fee for breakfast included and was definitely worth it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to an early check-in when we called ahead. Will definitely be booking again when we are in the area.

I stayed with my daughter for a dance competition, while in our room at night someone walked into my room!! They gave someone else the key to my room and said I wasn’t “fully booked” and it was a glitch in the system so they booked someone else to the same room! I told the front desk I didn’t feel safe and they offered me free parking as if that was going to make me sleep soundly. They offered a breakfast voucher but the staff was unfriendly and rude. Don’t think I’ll be staying there again. I had a horrible experience!

I've stayed at this property a few times, all have been great except this last time. First, the bathroom sink was clogged up, and maintenance hanlded it quickly. The second night, the battery fior the key card on the died and when I told the front desk about it, the first acted like I was the one doing something wrong. My husband and were issued 2 new cards only to have the same issue. I called from the hallway with two small children, tired, hungry, and having to go to the bathroom, so I called the front desk asking to send someone up. I was told someone would be right up, only to have 30 mins to pass by. I had to basically threaten the fact that my son would have to relieve himself in the hotel hallway to have someone come up to let us in our room. Lastly, I normally receive an emal of the final invoice and have yet to receive one yet...despite me calling multiple times asking fot it to be emailed, and being told it would be done within minutes. Yet here I am, still without it.

This hotel is literally next to the freeway. The otherside is next to a field and the metro train. Sandwiched between the two. Room was fine. We had an issue with a stained bed comforter and towels with holes, The hotel did though immediately change the sheets and gave us knew towels. They also gave us a room credit. So the customer service was in it. We were thankful. The breakfast was included in our price we paid. It was cooked to order or buffet. The food was good. We had omelette and French toast. The breakfast staff were working very hard. Lots of people were at breakfast when we were there. The photos when we booked made us think we would have an ocean view. Overall staff was nice just didn’t like location.

We recently stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn LA Redondo Beach, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet our expectations. In the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off, waking us abruptly. We immediately looked for the room phone to call the front desk and find out if it was a real emergency — only to discover there was no phone in the room. That was both surprising and concerning, especially in a situation where timely communication is critical. Firefighters arrived shortly after, and we were later informed that it was a false alarm and safe to return. We understand that system failures can happen, but not having a phone in the room was a serious oversight. The next morning, trying to move on from the incident, we went downstairs for breakfast. We asked a staff member from the food and beverage team whether breakfast was included — as it usually is when we stay at other Hilton properties. His response was surprisingly unhelpful and dismissive, saying he didn’t know and that we’d have to pay for anything we ordered. The interaction felt far from the level of service we’ve come to expect. We chose to leave and have breakfast elsewhere. To add to it all, parking was a major issue on Friday — there was absolutely no space available, which added more frustration to an already disappointing experience. On a positive note, the rest of the staff were consistently kind and attentive. That said, as you might guess, we won’t be staying at this place again.
