The property is old, but it is maintained in working condition. However, there was construction or remodeling on one side, which made it noisy at times. The pool area has tiles that are very worn out and difficult to walk on. The elevator (only one is operational) shakes right before stopping, which is quite unsettling. Overall, the property was clean and safe. Easy access to the beach area. Nice that there are side showers to rinse off the sand before returning to the pool area. This was a plus! The restaurant was nice with good food, but you have to pay directly and cannot charge it to the room. The laundry room was disappointing: only one of three dryers was working, and they charge $8 for a single wash and dry cycle!

We stay one night, we have early flight, it took us 10 minutes to get to the airport, the hotel has a big parking a plus for us because we have a rental car, the room ok for what we payed, it was clean and has a good a/c. The hotel it's in a very good location, nice view of the beach. Definitely will be our choice next time that we have a early flight.

Cancún Plaza is a nice place to stay. The pool is nice. There is a small family owned convenience store on-site and an OXXO just minutes away walking. Staff are very helpful. All in all good stay for the money.

The building is older with renovated kitchenette and bathroom hence the 3 stars but the layout is cool and they have everything you need, good quality priced pool/oceanside restaurant, large 10 x 12 balcon, amazing sunrise views,laundry, store, free parking, infinity pool and great helpful staff…the excursion team are always available to show you Mexico!

The pool was great, although they did close it early 9pm. They could do a better job cleaning up the large rocks on the beach as well as all the sea grass. The beach was dangerous and we did get cut up due to the large rocks. TVs don’t work, and the internet is unavailable in rooms and it’s very weak in the common areas.

The property was extremely old. Water pressure in the shower was terrible, and sometimes the toilets would not flush. There are no curtains in the bathrooms, so everyone outside can see you. It was also extremely dirty; there were roaches all over the place, and I even found a tick on my bed. There were also small bees inside the room.

The rooms were clean, the hotel is by the beach which made it a good experience. It’s an older hotel so it’s pretty dilapidated but for the price it’s nothing to baulk at. I have no real complaints it’s like a clean motel by the water, not a gross motel, like a motel 6 of Cancun lol if you want a budget friendly beachside hotel, it’s cool. If you have the money to spend, get another that’s more updated. Also it requires a 100 dollar deposit when you check-in which you can pay cash, and expect the 15 minute room inspection at the end of check-out so don’t order an uber just yet.

We rented a double Suite (2 levels) with the stairs inside the room being too steep and narrow making it very difficult to go up or down, specially with luggage. The view to the ocean were really good!

Room was clean, staff very friendly and inviting. Amazing view pool/ocean side, clean beaches and pools. The *only* thing that wasn’t great was how we could hear the guests next door (thin walls or no insulation). But other than that our stay was pretty good.

The place was very dated. Tv was only usually with Netflix. No phone in room. Bed was comfortable but only had a sheet on it. AC was poor, room was hot. I was glad it was only a one-night stay. I think the description on Hotels.com was very misleading. Im handicapped and had stairs in and out of my room. It was difficult to get my mobility scooter out by myself.

Great location, and very friendly staff, very clean room and great room service. Only bad thing is the condition and layout of the property. When you open the door of the room you have to go up a spiral type of stairs and it’s just a pain and the layout of the room its incredibly odd and strange/awkward. Otherwise great place.

Where do I even start. The elevator was broken but they put us on the fourth floor at the far end. The toilet was broken. Asked for it to be fixed every day but no one came ever to even look at it. They sold us tickets to an activity and upon arrival to the island we were at that point informed it was cancelled. Hotel guy told me we must have been told before getting on the boat cause that’s what they are supposed to do. Well why would I have boarded a boat to leave for 8 hours with no way home before that if I had been told it was cancelled that day? So a full day wasted and they wouldn’t refund the tickets! No warm water in the shower. Shower curtain rod broken and wouldn’t stay up. Refused to give us an extra pillow. No plug for sink to do dishes. Felt like a step above camping.

Horrible people all money driven. Room was inundated with water! Will not work around date changes when one of the nights was paid within the initial reservation and made us pay again! Manager will not listen or accommodate requests. She was no longer to be "found" at the hotel. Kept hiding from guests. Learn to be human people!! Gente mala como si el hotel fuera de ellos. La verdad es que cuando acaba de llegar al hotel el tipo que me mostraba el hotel, me presionaba para que comprara un paquete para mi familiar en la oficina de turismo. tuve que decirle que se fuera al diablo que tenia ganas de comer e ir al baño y que me estaba molestando. en general vi a otros clientes siendo presionados para que dieran propinas al llegar al hotel fue desagradable. las instalaciones están bien pero no demaciado.

Place is very disrespectful Attitude and a older woman calling me a “Mamon” which translates to Arrogant or Snob cause I had to wait so long for checkout and had to go ask them again to go check room so I can receive my Deposit Back lock of door does not even work the whole deal would come apart if you tried to pull it open I am glad this was only one night I would never recommend someone from US to stay here they think we are Arrogant cause we ask them to do their Job

Nice location, pool and beach steps away. Quiet and safe area, public bus right at the front of hotel. Bery nice staff from security, front desk and all the people are very polite. Building needs upgrades and tv not working, but our room 2514 is very neat and always clean. Aircon is very nice and cold. We enjoyed our stay.

Very spacious room with a great view to the beach and easy acess. The WiFi worked great and I was able to work with no problems. The staff was very friendly at the restaurant and the food was good with many options to choose from. The pool area was very nice as well. Would recommend!

For the price and location it's very hard to fault this place. Rooms and beds are clean and unlike other reviews no type of bags were seen. This is an older beach front property with obvious signs of wear and tear but being worked on. Staff was courteous and efficient. The restaurant is good and there is an OXXO across the street. As a frequent traveler ( 6 continents) I would stay here again when looking for a no frills and cost effective option. You can't beat the pool and the views.

Staff in restaurant seemed put off by us being there. They were out of pizzas the first day and next morning for breakfast were out of bagles and pancakes. The wifi was terrible and unabe to work or watch TV. Had we known how bad the wifi was and were unable to have the kids watch netflix or any of our apps we would have chosen another hotel. We had kids and wanted to settle down at the end of the day.

Grand hôtel avec plage privée et piscine. La chambre était très grande, il y avait une petite cuisine, un canapé, la vue sur la mer était magnifique. On est accueilli par une personne qui nous fait une visite de l’hôtel, très sympa. Le personnel de l’accueil n’a pas toujours été patient avec nous.

The dining is very limited overlloking the beautiful ocean. The menu is very limited and service staff is not efficient nor pleasurable.. all Grumpy old men serving the tables.. the ocean view deserves better..more ambient.. pleasurable service staff and good menu..would make the experience much more pleasurable since only limited reataurants nearby..

Bsea Cancun Plaza has some definite highlights — the pool is beautiful with plenty of seating, and the beach access is easy and scenic. These made for some great relaxing moments. However, the room itself left a bit to be desired. Our AC unit leaked the first night, and although maintenance came quickly, we still had to use a towel to catch the ongoing condensation. Not ideal. Also, be aware that no small hand or face towels are provided, so it’s smart to bring your own disposable cloths. The restaurant is cash only, and having pesos is a must since the on-site mini market gives change only in local currency. Overall, the location and amenities are good, but the little inconveniences added up.
