Hotel is under construction. No gym. Breakfast options were limited. Little storage in the room. The ice maker was not working.

Parking area Very cramped; few if any parking space lines on pavement. Hallway and room carpets stained. Pre-packaged eggs and sausage & little else for breakfast. Breakfast srea unattended for long periods.

All the ice machines in hotel were broken

When we arrived we were informed elevators didn’t work. The young man did try to accommodate us by giving us a king sized bed however it was on the top floor of hotel. The staircase smelled like urine, and the room itself smelled like urine as well. The blind did not close all the way in the room. And the hotel didn’t even have cable tv that would accommodate regular tv channels. We checkout within 10 minutes of checking in to the hotel. Very disappointed in the hotel.

They don't tell you they don't have a ice machine . you have to bring your own Ice. Check your bathroom hair was ithe shower. The smell of marijuana is very strong.If you have any respiratory problems don't stay here.breakfast is cold and late

This place is in a very dark street before you get to the hotel. The whole building is in renovation. Extremely loud, you can hear people talking and walking. The staff are very nice and polite though.

For a smoke free facility plenty of marijuana was smoked in rooms and management did nothing about it. The carpet down stairs and in my room was stained but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. All ice machines and washers were down. If you wanted ice you had to walk across the parking lot to the sister hotel The best part of the stay was the hot water in the shower. It was hot enough to take off you skin but perfect for a relaxed soothing bath. But there were no tub stoppers. SMDH.

This property should be shut down! First of all we get there and the elevator is not working and my room was on the third floor and I had my 84 year old mother with me and she can't walk the stairs. Then they gave us the second floor. I still had to walk up the steps. They allowed 13 & 14 year old kids to have a party with no parental guidance. Very noisy all thru the night. Could not get any rest. Only good thing about the place is the beds slept well when you could get some sleep. The TVs did not work right in my room. Upon check out time, I did not receive a receipt because the clerk said they ran out of paper, she said she would send it to my email. At this point I have not rec'd a email receipt yet. Customer service is terrible. We were suppose to get blankets because the rooms were cold. Never rec'd them. This alone made the trip to Maryland unpleasant. Right now I do not want to come back. I need a receipt!

Parking lot had trash in it. Also, there is a dangerously large and deep pothole where the hotel driveway meets the street. The shower doors did not move. Water from shower went all over the bathroom. The room door did not fit the door frame properly. It was hard to open and close.

No one was at the desk for check-in. I had to wait for 30mins before being helped and the person who helped me wasnt even on the property, initially. I was standing at the front desk when i saw him pull up to the property and when he walked in, he mentioned that he just sped in from another site in Baltimore because no one was on the schedule. There were also about 4 sheriff vehicles outside of the property and no one would explain what was going on. Thirdly, I got stuck on the elevator going to my room and the elevator was later marked “out of service”, causing me to have to use the stairs; which wouldn’t be a problem if I weren’t 7months pregnant. Lastly, my non-smoking room smelled strongly of cigarettes and the refrigerator was not working.

Needs to be exterminated

This was hands down the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. The room was in disgusting condition — we found roaches crawling around, stains on the sheets, blood on the floor, and filthy debris embedded in the carpet. The sink was completely stopped up, and although we informed maintenance, no one ever came to fix it.We booked this room because the website advertised three queen beds, but when we checked in, there were only two beds, leaving seven people crammed into one room. When we asked to be moved, we were told the hotel was fully booked — and that many of the rooms were taken by long-term residents who live there. This was never disclosed prior to booking.To make matters worse, we were told the hotel had no clean towels or linens, so we had to go out and buy our own. The room was so dirty, we even had to purchase cleaning supplies just to make it livable.The staff made no real attempt to address any of the serious concerns we brought up. Instead, they seemed more interested in socializing with the residents, who were clearly living there full-time. It was extremely unprofessional. We also witnessed residents freely walking behind the front desk and doing as they pleased — with no supervision or boundaries.And just to be clear — we have videos and photos documenting everything: the roaches, the blood, the filthy conditions, and the lack of basic hygiene and service. It was filthy!!!! The room had bugs crawling on the wall. One corner of the room had a nest of gnats hanging there. So many little gnats flying around. It stunk as if there was a sewage problem. Most disgusting hotel I’ve ever been to. It’s cheap for a reason.

To be paying for a suite and not have room service come by in the morning after the first night was a red flag. But to have roaches in my room and have the bathroom in the condition it was a shocking

When I arrived to my hotel it was mold in my room and blood over the bathroom

The room was very dirty. There were dead and alive roaches in the room and under the bed. Spiders and bed bugs. It was disgusting. We didn't stay there and requested a refund.

When we arrived at the Wingate there were several police cars out front and some loiterers in front of the entrance. The general manager greeted us and was very friendly, he assured us that everything was brand new. As we walked to our room the carpets were dirty and stained. The elevator and halls smelled strongly of marijuana. The room was ok at best. Several fixtures were dented and in less than ideal condition. The room had no phone but it did have several roaches.

We drove in and we saw areas that seem to have junk parked in the lot. After going to the reception area they were not there and people in the lobby had to scream for him to the desk. After further listening to very loud and uncomfortable conversations in the lobby from people that seem to be in the neighborhood we were given the key to the room. Hallway leading to room was dark and musty. The room had bugs and apart from that it was connected to another room which is ok except that my room connection door was broken and couldn't lock which I didn't find safe. Move to another room and sheets were stained and room was cleaned properly. Another room had the AC off and leakong as the carpet was wet. Another room had the window opened and could lock because the latch was broken so it kept falling down. Yes you read right, in total we viewed nearly 8 rooms and the safety issues, bugs and cleanliness we couldn't stay so we left immediately after all that to find somewhere else. Pictures online does not give a great depiction as I wouldn't have booked if that was the case!

The first room that was given to us was dirty and filthy, on request they gave us another one, seemed like these rooms were not used in a while, bathroom was dirty, tub hasn’t been washed in months, bedsheets had stains, there was dust on the bed skirts and on carpet. There was a pungent smell in the room as well. I would not recommend to anyone, only if you like to stay dirty or want to get high on second hand weed then go for it.

Staff was great. Hotel was clean, but old. Seemed like a party hotel though and it was hard to sleep with all the noise, smoking, and screaming all night.

Found a roach in the bathroom on the first night. Noticed spots still embedded on bed linen. I used clean linen from a nearby family members home overtop of the hotels linen for security. Rooms carpet was uncleaned and smelled of mildew. Refrigerator and microwave area had a different type of bug on the ice bucket and cups. Lastly, wifi service was an issue the entire 5 night stay, intermittently shutting down every 10-15 minutes. I used a nearby family members home wifi to get my devices operational to complete projects. Major upgrades to these areas are necessary to be within compliance.

The wi fi kept going in and out the sheets on one of the bed was dirty the USB socket to charge the phone was broken, the bathroom the tub around the edges was dirty. I didn’t make a big deal cause I just needed a room for one night for my business trip

There was a light shining in from the parking lot to my room extremely bright and the curtains where too thin to block.

The room was outstanding! However the lights in the first room they put us in did not work, so they quickly put us in a new room that only had one non working light in the bed. We also found out later that the bed was supposed to have lights on top of the headboard that did not work. The pull down curtain was broken and had to manually be raised or lowered. We choose the room with the deluxe suite and jacuzzi tub.

Big TV. Very clean. Huge rooms. Comfortable bed.

Need work done to the rooms as far as the curtains and WiFi

The rooms are clean and very spacious. The rooms are quiet. And the TV is a big 50-in screen.

The shower curtain rod was broken, making the shower curtain unusable when showering. Also, the window curtains did not fully cover the window, letting the Sun light shine in the room in the early morning disturbing our sleep.

I spent more than 20 days here, waiting for my rental house to be ready, the front desk and the manager is really great and helpful. Definitely recommend, 5 stars.

No way will I come back didn’t check in until 11:00 pm and then had to leave out at 9:00 am because of a meeting that I had all because they couldn’t get there computer up and ready for guest and then had to pay cash when I wanted to use my card not good I would love to have my money back

The staff was really unhelpful. Our sink clogged and they refused to help. Our sheets were dirty and they said they couldn’t do anything. There were people being very loud in the lobby at 2am and they could not control the situation. Overall, avoid this place

Coming from out of town, arrived to check in and they said they had to cancel my reservation due to house keeper not showing up! Therefore I had to find another hotel real inconvenience

Went to the hotel for peace but drunk men hanging outside the front lobby. Then a shootout was right outside front door. People shooting back and forth. Scary and unacceptable.

This was very close to Walmart and a lot of fast food restaurants very convenient to where I needed to be close to

Pulled up at 9:45pm on a Wednesday to police cars with flashing lights blocking the entrance. Clearly something was going down due to the police in the hotel. Walking up the appearance in the lobby looked uninviting and the rest of the neighborhood was shady. Decided it was not the hotel we were going to spend 2 nights at and enjoy their pool. The hotel will not refund our money even though they are clearly not a 2.5 star hotel, the entrance was blocked, and their advertising is false. Take this into consideration when booking this hotel.

It was an unexpected need to get down to Maryland and find some place to stay that was close enough to family, but I wished I had picked another place. The parking lot was filled with trash on the ground. Hallway to the room rug was so dirty and no working ice machine in the building at all. Shower curtain was ripped and I kept smelling the smell of weed in my room. Got up early to get something to eat and was so disappointed with what was being served (cold French toast, egg, sausage, cereal in a juice pitcher) This was everyday breakfast. Looked up into the ceiling and it had some black marks. Pillows was so worn out and a thin black and sheet to cover you. Front desk people looked more like they was checking into the hotel. No uniform or name tag. Just found this place to be fit for someone that just needs a one night to rest, before you head back out on the road. Was so disappointed for it is a well brand name and this hotel made it look like crap

Location to get the hotel was very confusing. You need to go inside a gas station then thru. It is behind the gas station. Free breakfast was lousy. They were serving cereal but had milk. No water
