Las habitaciones estaban descuidada y con mal olor, pedimos un cambio de habitacion por que me dieron en 4to pisos y no había elevador pues yo padesco de un mal de la colina vertebral y para cambiarme tuve que pagar 140 dolares de un programa por desayunos, después en la nueva habitación las almohadas tenían ma olor, las habitaciones están descuidadas con muchas cosas oxidadas y el agua para bañarse es salobre y vi a 2 amas de llaves lavar el trapeador con agua de la piscina, las siguiente 4 noches que permaneció en playa del carmen decidí irme a otro Hotel llamado Colonial donde todo está muy bien.. El hotel tukan Es un desastre

Very nice Tropical Hotel. Not very modern but clean and functional. I didn’t like that the Hotel counts with two separate buildings half a block apart. The main building has a bigger pool and is right off Famous Fifth Avenue. The other still very close but not right off the strip. Very small Pool. Parking sucks if you leave at night. The parking attendants there 24/7 can be very helpful.

El servicio súper amables y serviciales, ubicación de la propiedad excelente La alberca se encontraba en malas condiciones y los días que estuve cerraron completamente El Paso, si bien solo lo ocupamos para descansar ya que teníamos tours no importó tanto, para personas que realmente quieran disfrutar de la alberca no lo recomiendo.

Definitivamente no regresaría a este hotel. El personal no es nada amable, reserve desde el 9 de enero para para vacacionar del 23 al 30 de marzo. Llegamos y nos mandaron a otro edificio argumentando que por el tipo de habitación que reserve me mandaron para el otro edificio que queda cruzando la calle, el botones super grosero nunca ofreció ayudarnos con el equipaje y el nos dijo que donde yo había reservado no había habitación triple, hicimos el reclamo y nos cambiaron a dónde yo había reservado originalmente. Son 145 habitaciones y 2 días cerraron las albercas que porque la estaban limpiando y nos mandaron a otra albercas que están cruzando la calle. Las albercas super chicas entran máximo 10 personas y son 145 habitaciones. Llegaron un día a tocarnos la puerta para la limpieza a las 7am. Las habitaciones huelen a humedad.muy mala experiencia

El agua tenía del grifo y regadera tenía un olor y sabor extraño, las toallas muy rasposas, los mosquiteros tenían agujeros. En general es un hotel básico, a mi me funcionó para lo qué se requería llegar a dormir.

The hotel grounds were very pretty with the greenery around the pool, very beautiful. The hotel was also well located next to 5th ave...however, the rooms were small & oddly shaped. The room smelled like sewer. The mattresses were as hard as a rock with lumpy & hard pillows. The bath towel were large (bath blanket) which was nice, but they were OLD. They were the towels in the perfect state to rip up and use for cleaning the car. The air conditioning barely worked, it took 8 hours for the room to cool down enough to be bearable enough to sleep. As if that wasnt bad enough, the shower was dirty, small and the water barely dripped out of the shower spout. No need to even turn on the cold water, just turning on the hot water, after 15 mins, was luke warm, warm enough to go under ... unless youre brave & shower with cold water. The entire bathroom, especially the shower head needs a DEEP cleaning.

The location is in the center of 5th Avenue, which is the hotel's best feature. There are only a few chairs around the pool, so sometimes hard to get one. The hot tub never worked. Upon check-in, someone had used my toilet and overflowed it onto the bathroom floor. Just gross. They sent someone to clean it. There was always a sewer smell and fruit flies every day. The lock on the sliding door was about to fall off and 3 lights in the room did not work. When I tried to tell the front desk several times, they nodded and walked away. There were also some public areas that they could have attended to instead of standing around talking. The top of the water cooler needed to be dusted off and the sofa in the lobby has a gaping hole in it. There were always tons of leaves outside my door each morning. I was in 305 and it was right by the cleaning room, so each morning, I was woken early by the cleaning people laughing and eating and slamming doors. The size of the property and the location are its best features, but they could make it so much more. I met many Canadians and they were not too impressed either. I did like the tropical atmosphere too, but on the last night, a roach scurried across my bedroom floor. Also, at check-in, they told me I owed $10, which was a different amount than what Expedia told me it would be. They didn't care even when I showed them the paper.

At the beginning when we first arrived to our first room, the room was very hot because AC wasn’t working and smelled humid and moldy. It seems there was a leak from roof because there was water on the floor by bed. But they did a great job in changing our room to a better room. In that room AC was working and it smells better. There is no fridge or microwave. Breakfast buffet was good and staff were polite, friendly and helpful.

From the out side the property looks nice and it is in a great central location where you can walk to shops, restaurants, and excursion meeting points. Lots of mosquitos inside the rooms. We had to change rooms due to a water leak then in the new room the shower did not drain properly, the toilet would not fill up after flushing, and one of the AC units made loud clicking noises. We chose this hotel because of location and price. We booked several tours around the area and did not spend a lot of time at the hotel. The staff was helpful and attentive.

I have previously stayed at Tukan. It has a cozy pool area, a close walk to the beach & various amenities. Being near the strip you can anticipate nightlife with music occasionally loud until late. The staff are friendly & very accommodating. Overall is a satisfactory 3 star hotel & would stay again.

Super agradable estancia, la habitacion que nos toco esta en excelentes condiciones, el aire acondicionado enfria tan bien que hasta da frio, la atencion del personal es simplemente magnifica, mucho mejor que anteriores estancias de años anteriores, la ubicacion pues inigualable, esta todo cerca y caminando, super, 5ta avenida, playa, restaurantes, etc.

Stayed at Tukan before covid and was treated well. Totally diferent this time around. Unresponsive and grummpy recepton. Wasted hours just to ty and get the TV to work. Toilet was junk and hotel ignored request to fix. Many noisy guests carrying on to all hours with no reponse from the hotel.

“Buena” ubicación , pero la atención en recepción muy mala , salvo por la Srita que me hizo el check in, tuve que llevar mis 4 maletas a mi habitación , por fortuna había reservado una con buena ubicación en la propiedad, solicité transporte para moverme y me lo negaron diciendo que usara los taxis de sitio que se encuentra afuera del hotel , cuando el hotel cuenta con una unidad de transporte , la cual si era o no con costo no me pude enterar por la mala atención de la persona que me hizo el check out.

El personal de recepción más cerrados que portón con mil candados , nunca quisieron darme una llave extra en una habitación de 4 personas , pésima la calidad del agua , te quieren vender el servicio de desayunos muy insistentemente y si no lo compras te ponen caras.Lo único bueno del hotel es la ubicación, creo que nunca regresaría , de hecho preferí perder noches e irme a otro hotel y fue un mundo de diferencia en todos los aspectos

Es una muy buena opcion para dormir y bañarse. Es un hotel pequeño, muy bien ubicado, a unos pasos de la 5 avenida, centro comercial, y todo lo que puedas necesitar. Muy rico el desayuno buffet. Y la atencion al cliente inmejorable, muy atentos y amables todo el personal. Cero ruido en la noche puedes dormir y descasnar tranquilamente.

A all the employees but the hotel needs maintenance, the pool was closed the whole time we where there they send you to a hotel across the street if you want to get in a pool the bathroom has little roaches and the water in the shower and sink is salt water so bring extra conditioner also if you paying all inclusive or just breakfast they'll send you across the street to The Ceiba restauran no ac and the food is not that good (really bad actually)at the end you get what you paid for if you planning to stay here I hope you read more comments no just this one then is up to you, they respond to all negative reviews with a generic comment
