Bluff's Landing Lodge

The room was very clean and well maintained. However the access to the room was compromised. My code did not work and my email would not open while standing at the door to retrieve the phone number they had emailed in advance to call the off-site support staff. After calling the phone number on the building, which went to voice mail only, I saw a guest leaving the building and they kindly assisted me in calling the correct person, since that phone number is not posted anywhere except in the email. Further, the TV has streaming channels only and requires an internet/wifi to log on and I could never get the internet nor wifi to work, even after calling the off-site support staff. Very frustrating on both counts: access to the room and wifi access non-existent thus no TV access during the stay. So have a direct phone number posted somewhere on your building that is manned by your staff and fix the internet server.

Check in was weird, there is not office and I had to ask other guests who happened to be outside what to do. Luckily they showed me the employee on site who was not identified as an employee by uniform or badge. I got several emails saying I had a message about my trip but there was no message attached. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool was nice, although you have to walk across the street to it. It's a little old fashioned with metal keys and combo locks, but nice, I would stay there again. Well away from normal street traffic. The website shows the restaurant is still open but it is not.

Awesome stay, very clean, and very helpful staff. I would stay here again.

No soap. Only shampoo and conditioner in one room. Smelled of weed in the other room. First room (no soap) was not ready on time and had to wait over an hour for it. Looked like mold on the ceiling in both rooms. Don't expect a microwave. Only one room had one.

Not what we expected, but at least it was nice and cool inside.
