For a budget hotel / motel, it was a great value. Clean, doors inside, plenty of space, convenient and affordable, decent breakfast. Lots of charging options in the room by the bed; including USB. Looked like rooms had been renovated. There is no elevator (but only two floors), so if you have mobility issues or very heavy luggage; request a ground floor room. Also, though they said there was WiFi, the signal didn’t reach our room to connect to. That being said, most hotels have iffy WiFi; so we weren’t planning on using it anyway. Not a make or break, but we oddly had no plug or charging outlets at the work desk. Even though the coffee machine was here, we had to move it to the sink to use. (Fyi: if you prefer to bring your own coffee, or room had Hamilton Beach pod machine)

This property had several entrances, allowing easy access to parking spaces. Each was keyed for safety. My room was comfortable, and breakfast was adequate. The 24-hour coffee station was always clean and ready with good coffee. What set the hotel apart was the customer service of the front staff, who were kind and helpful beyond expectations.

It was clean overall and accommodated our dog for free. It was quiet and we felt safe. The room was tastefully decorated. Sheets were clean and didn’t have a fragrance / unscented which was much appreciated. The grounds like the drive way could use better up keep. Breakfast was continental and also had eggs and sausage and it was great to be able to get the day started with one less thing to worry about.

This hotel is very convenient for visiting the casino. It is pet friendly, which was very helpful for us. I was impressed that the rooms were very clean and had a pleasant smell even though it is pet-friendly. The staff was also very friendly.

It's a nice little modest hotel but very clean. Staff are very friendly. Location is good. Breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, waffles, cereal, breads, yogurt. The only thing that is not so good is the coffee but Dunkin is literally right next door. There is no elevator, so if you can't do stairs make sure to book on the first floor. But nice for a very reasonable price.

Room was super clean and nice. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were amazing. I am from Florida pretty much Daytona Beach so it’s not saying a whole lot but nicest red roof and I’ve ever been to and it wasn’t too expensive and they didn’t even charge me for having my dog with me.

Everthing was fine until i went to pack up my belongings to check out. Thats when i moved my bag on the chair in room 111 and cockroaches scurried out from under the chair. The most disgusting hotel stay ive ever had!

The one key card door to the outside wouldn’t close all the way. But the worst thing is the damn bed bugs there also one of the heater in room 142 wouldn’t turn down it was like a sauna In that room. Room 140 is the one that had bed bugs in it found them the Secound night. Never felt so dirty in my life

Please don't allow your staff to smoke right at the entrance to the building and police the parking lot for cigarette butts. The hair dryer did not work and the bathroom floors were sticky. The bathroom needs an upgrade as the faucet was corroded and the shower surround was stained. Thanks

I am grateful to have had a place to sleep and shower but the rooms smell terrible. The first room we were put in smelled like an ashtray..(funny because I had to do a deposit and sign a form that I would be charged $200 if I smoked in the room.. I’m not a smoker.. But we told the front desk and they quickly put us in a “premium” room with a king and a desk… the desk was sticky and the room smelled terrible.. not like cigarettes but of musty, uncleanliness. I love staying in hotels for the extra clean feeling and clean smell.. unfortunately, Red Roof Inn did not measure up in that way. I recommend they level up on cleaning supplies and really make stays a memorable experience! It starts with the first impression of the room… SMELL and cleanliness! Other than this.. we appreciate having a place to stay!

We had a decent stay. I had 2 rooms, one that was single king and one that had 2 double beds. Pro's: Price good. Hot water and water pressure good. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Both rooms clean. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, plus the 'normal' stuff like cereal, muffins, etc Con's: the shower head in the double room was about 5' foot high. ALL beds were very firm. (which is not a con to some people) So if you can handle firm beds this was great place to stay for the price.

My husband and I stayed in the suite. It was roomy but needed a decore update. The shower was for short people. Shower head way too low, even for me at 5’4. The room did have a refrigerator and microwave that was nice. The hallway had an odor that housekeepers tried to cover with deodorizer spray. This property needs a remodel

Easy to find, clean. Rooms have been updated recently, though hallways definitely look older. Big markdown was the mattress; it was so phenomenally inflexible, I wondered if I was sleeping on a cardboard box. Easily the worst hotel mattress I've ever slept on.

When I got there they said I didn't have a reservation. Despite me showing them my Expedia reservation on my phone they refused to honor it. They gave me a room that was $100 more total for the 2 nights. I wouldn't go there again.

My husband and I did not feel too safe there. When we arrived no one was at the desk? Had to wait. People out in the parking lot talking until late? The young man at the front desk was very nice, but we would not recommend....sorry:(

I checked in to my room and found that the A-C was on, i turned the A-C off and the heat on. I went out with friends, and came back to the room around 3am and the room was freezing, i called the front desk and they said that they could not do anything for me tonight. I was told to talk to the manager about the problem in the morning. Need less to say she told me that I should have been possibly moved last night, and that I stayed in a freezing room was all on me...NEVER AGAIN...

Good and friendly staff. Very helpful when AC underperforming. Switched us to another room promptly. Traveling from out of state and had to depart 2 days early. Staff was understanding and helpful. Worked promptly to refund us and we were very thankful and appreciative.

Great overall. My only compaint was the loud trucks in the parking lot and the close proximity to Route 50 for road noise. But to be expected I guess from it's location. The staff was first class!

We were planning to visit the Creation Museum and this location was very close for those activities. The staff were super nice and the breakfast included scramble eggs, waffles, yogurt, muffins, toast, cereal, etc. I would stay here again if in the area and just a few minutes from Lawrenceburg which was a very nice town to visit for shopping.

The hotel is right down the street from the Hollywood casino. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and yhe cost significantly less than similar hotels around the airport. I will stay here again on my next trip to Cincinnati.

The staff were nice, not overly friendly. The room had many knicks and scrapes on the walls. The ceiling had water stains and patch marks in several places.The bathroom door was shredded on the end. The wash cloths had stained makeup on them. The pillows were flat and the bed was hard,tossed and turned all night. Breakfast was a small pan of eggs, no meat. Choices of breads and cold cereals. And I think yogurt in the fridge.Not impressive at all. I didn’t eat. Got some water and had black floaty pieces in it, I assumed was mold. And of coarse didn’t drink it. On my way out the door there was a large hairy bug crawling across the floor of my room, I smashed it and left. Will never go back.
