Check in was quick and easy. Staff was helpful with any questions. They had a quiet time from 10pm to 7am which was nice, but the walls are thin so could still hear chatter in hallways and next door. Overall Hotel is nice for Downtown events.

The hotel at first glance was okay. The lobby is nice when you walk in. Going to the room it gets a bit worse. To get into my room we had to swipe the card multiple times and wiggle the handle in a specific was in order to open the door. That was frustrating. There is one elevator at the front of the hotel that is extremely slow. The room was okay bed were clean but the bathroom was not so much. The shower looked questionable and the door look like it had been soaked in water. There is no exhaust in the bathroom. Other guests were extremely rude blocking common areas. There is a patio in the front that you could use. Wi-Fi was less than stellar. It would work for 5 minutes and then cut off. Breakfast was okay. Small place to get breakfast tucked in corner for a lot of people. Location was behind a gas station, right off a main highway. Getting places was pretty simple. It was just overall an okay stay nothing special. Thought the 8.4 rating would've made it a bit better.

Yikes - I am generally a fan of Country Inns for moderate rate but decent quality stays. I don’t expect new but this hotel was musty, dirty, and had obvious neglect. My room’s bathroom door was moisture filled and very heavy - the bottom of it was expanded and moldy. The shower grout and corners were also moldy. There was a return vent IN the shower - also no exhaust/fan in the bathroom. Breakfast was not terrific but would have been ok until a bug (rolly-poly?) dropped from the ceiling above onto my plate and I realized there were at least 5-6 visible up there. So, I skipped breakfast. Location is not great - but that’s because of the downturn of the manufacturing in town. I was there for a WPBL game and the room charge was easily double what it should have been given the condition of things. Staff I spoke with were kind and attentive - they were doing their best given the conditions. An upgrade on the facility would give them something to work with.
