What guests think

At Drury Inn & Suites Springfield, travelers consistently praise exceptionally friendly staff, very clean spaces, and good value extras like a hot breakfast and an evening reception with food and drinks that make stays convenient and budget‑friendly.

Rooms are widely described as comfortable and sometimes spacious, though a few guests reported noise from the highway or stairwells. Facilities feedback notes a pleasant pool and hot tub when available, but renovations, limited parking during construction, and a single elevator that is busy or occasionally down created hassles. Service stands out as warm and proactive, with quick check‑ins and helpful communication about renovation impacts. Expect strong value perks, comfortable rooms, and occasional construction or elevator trade‑offs.

The pool and hot tub are popular when open, but renovations, a single often‑busy elevator (occasionally down), construction‑related parking limits, and the absence of on‑site EV charging despite some listings caused inconveniences.

Is a five, but only got a four overall because there is only one elevator and we often had to wait only to wait again since car was full (we were on fifth floor) I could not use pool area because I found it too hot and muggy. Had some trouble breathing. However, everything else was excellen. Definitely what you want to find. Enjoyable stay

The hote/stay was nice overall, and the staff was very polite/friendly/helpful however, the pool was being renovated and we were not notified until after the cancelation time. It soured our vacation trip as we were all looking forward to swimming. Would have been nice if we were notified before the cancelation time to be able to make a decision.

Great Hotel. Rooms clean and comfortable. Pool warm enough, hot tub not too hot, plenty of towels. Evening reception was delightful, lots of food choices, drinks well made, over all 10 out of 10. Went to several bars later that night, none of the bars were anywhere as nice as the hotel was...

Our stay was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were served as well as free drinks each evening of our stay. The Hotels.com listing said that the hotel had an electric vehicle charging station on site, but there was not a charger at the hotel.

One of the cleanest and nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and freshly made every morning. The room was large and the shower was wonderful! The bed was comfortable and had five pillows on the king bed. The air worked very well! The tv was larger than normal. The cleanliness was truly top-notch. Every time we saw staff they were cleaning! Would definitely stay again!

We were in town for the Police Memorial and picked Drury instead of our usual weekend spot because it was a short trip…we were pleasantly surprised! I read all the good reviews and they live up to it all. Nicely renovated and very clean. All of the staff was extremely pleasant and such hard workers. Our King room was huge as was the bathroom, well appointed and we lacked nothing. The dining was simple but hot, tasty, and so convenient. It was so nice to just have a little something and be able to hang out comfortably and enjoy the company of our friends that met us there. Plus we could walk to Starbucks for my morning fix lol. We will definitely be giving Drury another visit!

The staff is very friendly. This included everyone, not just front desk workers. Our room was very spacious, though rather plain. It was clean, but had a damaged piece of furniture. The bed was initially comfortable, but we didn't sleep well because the mattress jiggled every time one of us moved. If you are staying alone, or you and your partner don't move much, the bed would be very nice. Breakfast was nice, and breakfast staff does a great job and are kind. The pool was nice. The hot tub leaves much to be desired. It is not hot at all.

After traveling to the area that day ahd being at a softball tournament all day and night, we stopped on the way back to the hotel to finally get dinner and finally returned to the hotel after 11pm. We attempted to sit in the lobby area where there were tables to eat our dinner and were told that we aren't allowed to be out of our room after 10pm. When asked where we were supposed to eat and telling the front desk staff that we didn't want to eat a meal sitting on a bed, they pretty much much said "Sorry, that's our policy". This is very unacceptable and policies like this should never be implemented or enforced, as travel schedules are often unpredictable and meals often happen outside of normal times.

The property was going through some renovations but this did not cause us any inconvenience. We were notified of this when we reserved on-line. This hotel was otherwise clean and very comfortable with plenty of complimentary food and drink options. The Manager was exceptionally accommodating. The elevator was out because of the renovations, and he carried some of our bags to our room. He worked very hard to make sure every guest had a good stay. The Manager even stopped in where the breakfast was provided to help clean tables and refill items that were low. This was in addition to the rest of the staff being friendly and helpful.

We are loyal to staying at Drury's because of their customer service and how they literally never tell us no 😂Half the time we cater our trip around which Drury's were going to stay at and this one will not happen again. Despite the fact Javi was F*****G AWESOME (that's why y'all got 2 stars on service and not 1) at check in, however the morning staff, and management was a different story. We arrived late in the evening and I asked Javi if the soda machine was open and he said no they close at 930pm, But they have other sodas he would be happy to get me one. Understandable and I appreciate the help and politeness but different story in the morning. My husband went to fill my cup at 10am. They were rude about the soda machine. "no we shut it down right after breakfast and kickbacks" and whoever was there at the counter "has been there 40years and they've NEVER have the machine on" okay, then how come this is the first Drury we have had this problem with? And did y'all really have to be so meh about it? Whatever. Maybe y'all were having a cranky morning! Thankyou Javi for being so friendly and genuinely acting like you cared how we are 💙
