The Hyatt Place was clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is heated and they have towels at the pool which is convenient. The buffet style breakfast in the mornings had a variety of foods from fresh fruit to typical Mexican dishes. The room was also spacious. We would definitely come back again.

Aunque el hotel no tiene acceso directo a la playa, hay un pasillo casi enfrente que te permite acceder a la playa pública. También pudimos encontrar varios restaurantes caminando y disfrutar de una caminata nocturna. En las cosas no tan buenas es que la alberca del hotel es pequeña y la ubicación respecto a los edificios le hace sombra casi todo el día.

For price and location this place can't be beat. Our room was spacious and relatively clean. They supply you with 2 snall bottles of water per day. The pool area is nice but shaded most of the day. The pool water is super warm which is rare in mexico. Their happy hour was a bust as they were missing drink ingredients most days. Easy access to the beach where we spotted whales and rays. Overall I would recommend.

Pool was NOT HEATED so completely unusable. No hot tub. Very bad for a place that is this expensive to stay. They do not Tell you in advance. Why even put in a pool?

Staff was friendly however housekeeping did not mop or vacuum the room each day. The ac in the room was extremely noisy & the wallpaper was peeling near the shower which appeared moldy & smelled mildewy. We purchased slippers to walk around the hotel room in because we weren't comfortable walking barefoot. The hotel casts a shadow over most of the pool so if you're looking for sun we suggest the short stroll down to the beach. Breakfast is ok, on the first day the scrambled eggs tasted strange but they were fine the remainder of our stay. The taco place (Lateral) & pizza place (La Osteria) around the corner were excellent and the adjacent coffee shop (Abreojos), bakery (Nata Renata), and ice cream shop (La Dolce Villa across the street) were excellent as well. It was nice to have so much within walking distance and we practically had the beach to ourselves. We did notice that a lot of the other restaurants within walking distance weren't consistent with their hours & there were a couple we wanted to try but weren't open despite their posted hours & days.

Hotel has 4 lane semi-freeway running in front and very noisy all night. Loud trucks back-firing into a roundabout, motor bikes drag racing at 4am. Usual well appointed Hyatt with good breakfast included and good staff. Would not book there again due to location - AVOID.

This is a lovely hotel. The room is huge and in great shape, including the bathroom. There's a nice view of the ocean from some windows. The breakfast is very varied. There's a big mall having lots of food and any other items one may need next door. The ocean is one block down the road.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.. the complimentary breakfast was very good with a lot of fresh options.. I would definitely recommend for location.. it was noisy outside because of the busy street close to the hotel, but when inside you could barely hear it.. I would get the rooms with the ocean view, it was worth the upgrade.

New-feeling property, bright lobby with outdoor areas. Walking distance into San Jose del Cabo city center - a charming town with xlnt dining. Spacious room with comfy bed, nice bathroom and great view. Breakfast is included and is very well done with lots of options. Easy access to the Corridor entrance and to high-quality parking underneath the hotel. I stayed on a business trip - not on/adjacent to a beach, but one is a fairly short walk away.

El hotel en general muy bien ubicado para un hotel de estancia corta o de negocios. El único problema es que el aire acondicionado en la habitación hace demasiado ruido cada vez que se enciende - como si prende un trailer su motor!!! La habitación es de muy buen tamaño y todo funciona muy bien. Pero deben reparar el ruido del a/c en todas las habitaciones ya que en un problema general de todo el hotel.

Pésimo servicio en recepción. Creo que NUNCA habíamos recibido un trato tan terrible de un recepcionista. El joven Iran no debe de estar en recepción. No le interesa el bienestar de los huéspedes. Lo ideal sería mover a un área donde no lo vean los clientes . Hasta sus compañeros se vieron apenados del mal trato.

We are staying during Hurricane Norma. The staff has done an excellent job. More guests than normal eating in the evening. The staff worked very hard to keep a bigger than normal crowd happy. We stay at this hotel frequently when we fly in. Excellent property.

Cancelé mi reservación porque no se me hizo ético como actuaron en el hotel. Llegué a las 11:30 am para hacer check in. En recepción la persona encargada me dijo que me habitación no estaba lista porque la hora de entrada es a las 3:00 pm y no tenían habitaciones disponibles pero me podía “buscar otra habitación” que estaba lista en esos momentos pero tendría que pagar 10 dólares la hora porque me estarían dando una habitación antes de la hora del check in. Hotel is very close to bus stop. The airport bus (Ruta del Desierto) stops at a block away north from the hotel. After you get off the airport bus, you can easily walk to the hotel by using the pedestrian skywalk to cross the transpeninsular highway. To go to Plaza Mijares located in downtown area, you take the city bus #3 that looks like the yellow school. The city bus stops and picks people up along Paseo Malecon San Jose in front of the hotel. You save lots of money by taking the city bus and the airport bus instead of taking taxi or Uber! My wife and I really enjoyed the breakfast there, it is very good and is free!

Overall had a pleasant stay. Stayed four nights. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. There are two supermarkets within walking distance. Breakfast was good. They served eggs, chilaquiles, beans, fruit, and oatmeal. There are bus routes to Cabo San Lucas and downtown San Jose.

The breakfast was ‘cheap’ eg hotdog sausages cut into tiny pieces,and not much variety Coffee was gross, juice was mystery brand Not very hygienic as the area is a mess. Jars of jam,marmalade and peanut butter are contaminated. We end up going to a restaurant for breakfast
